Who is calling her?
For a mont she was bewildered, her mind foggy, unable to distinguish clearly.
That urgent yet deep call made her feel an imnse warmth in her heart, a warmth that spread instantly throughout her whole body.
Yege opened her eyes and saw Chu Xici’s face, full of worry, his eyes fixated on her...
The mont she saw Chu Xici, Yege abruptly sat up, threw herself into his arms, tightly hugging his neck, crying as she said:
"...Don’t leave , don’t abandon ... I’m scared!"
Yege’s voice was filled with endless grievances and bitterness; her arms wrapped so tightly, burying her head in his chest, her tears falling on his neck, scalding his skin.
Chu Xici was taken aback.
What kind of nightmare had she had to be this frightened?
Earlier, Yege said she wanted to sleep and then she pushed him out of the room.
His room was right next door, but as he lay down, he couldn’t fall asleep no matter what.
He had never intended to put any pressure on Yege; as a child, Yege didn’t like to play the piano or violin, and no one in the family forced her, they just wanted her to be the happiest she could be.
That girl... too sensitive, perhaps!
Maybe one day, he should find a proper opportunity to have a thorough talk with her.
Although the coursework was intense at the mont... he didn’t want her to feel such great pressure every day.
Later, Chu Xici got up and went downstairs, and just as he was passing by Yege’s bedroom door, he heard her calling out for him from inside...
Chu Xici was startled, and without a second thought, he burst through the door and found her still imrsed in a nightmare, her face already covered in tears.
This girl must be having a nightmare!

Chu Xici felt the little person in his arms still trembling as if still lost in the recent nightmare, so he tightened one arm around her, holding her, while the other gently patted her back, comforting her.
"Don’t be scared, don’t be scared, I’m right here! How could I ever leave you?"
Hearing Chu Xici’s comforting words, Yege felt a little better.
As her emotions gradually cald down bit by bit, Yege felt embarrassed about her current state.
For a mont, he wanted to let go of her, but her arms held on so tightly, and seeing her that scared, how could he have the heart to push her away?
But just what nightmare had she exactly had?
Was it truly that terrifying?
"What did you dream about just now? Huh? Tell about it!"
In an instant, Yege froze.
She blinked, and a crystal-clear teardrop fell, landing on Chu Xici’s neck.
She didn’t wish to recall that scene from the dream, because... it was simply too terrifying!
Chu Xici smiled gently and said to Yege, "Be good, tell about it! Once you talk about it... you won’t be scared anymore!"
