Yege glared at him.
"I have hands, don’t I?"
As she spoke, she reached for the seatbelt herself, but her head was spinning, and she couldn’t manage to insert the seatbelt buckle into the clasp.
Chu Xici watched as her drunkenness began to show and couldn’t help feeling annoyed.
How much had this girl drunk while he wasn’t paying attention?
So, he reached out, took her hand, and plugged the seatbelt buckle in himself.
The act itself was nothing special, but when Chu Xici touched Yege’s hand, she shuddered and jerked her hand away.
This disdainful reaction from Yege gave Chu Xici a montary pause.
A gloomy and irritated mood began to spread in the car.
Soon, the car started.
Yege looked ahead and said, "Drunk driving is against traffic laws. If you get caught by the police, you will totally deserve it!"
Chu Xici’s brows furrowed slightly.
"I haven’t drunk anything!"
"Psh!" Yege snorted with contempt.
She had clearly seen him clinking glasses with that beautiful woman and he still claid he hadn’t drunk... Such a liar!
However, Chu Xici wasn’t dwelling on what Yege had said about him being drunk while driving, but rather he furrowed his brows even tighter.
The sll of alcohol in the car was simply too strong.
This girl... had really gone too far, as he could sll the intense odor of alcohol on her.
Of course, Chu Xici was unaware that a large portion of that alcohol sll was actually from soone accidentally spilling a drink on Yege’s clothes.
Yege ignored Chu Xici, feeling sowhat uncomfortable now.
She had drunk too heavily that evening, and since she couldn’t hold her liquor... now her stomach was churning, feeling awful.
But she said nothing.
She didn’t want to talk to Chu Xici!
That evening, the person she least wanted to deal with was him!
Throughout the ride, neither of them spoke again, Chu Xici stayed silent, and Yege kept holding it in.
Finally, when they got ho, Yege rushed to the restroom and started vomiting, which was horribly unpleasant.
Actually, she hadn’t eaten much that night, and there wasn’t much to throw up, but the feeling... was truly torturous.
At that mont, as the drunkenness hit her, she felt her legs weaken; trying to stand up made her head spin even more.
Chu Xici stood by, frowning at her agonized state.
The last ti at Bailu Hot Spring, she had passed out after drinking a little red wine, which was nothing but a light stupor, but this ti... it was indeed a bit excessive.
Chu Xici stepped forward and helped her up, only then noticing that her blouse at the front was actually slightly damp...

Seeing that Yege kept silent, Chu Xici took it as her acquiescence.
He didn’t say anything more but went to the bathroom to prepare the bathwater for her.
