Adam winced, then peeked an eye open towards the pair, who stood before him in utter shock.

"It seems I underestimated you two," the half elf said.

'Huh?'

The pair stared at the Mo before them.

They blinked.

Adam's fists glowed white, forcing the pair away, though as he finally forced the first twin away, and was about to drop the second with a strike like a hamr, the twin upon his right pulled his brother away, and the pair half skid away.

"Weal and..." one began, and the pair held out their hands behind them, which tensed and twitched, their middle two fingers curled.

"Woe," the other continued, and the wind picked up around them, causing their shalwar to billow in the wind.

Adam froze. He had heard the pair grunt and groan together even when he attacked only one, but this was the first ti he heard them speak one by one.

"Dragon!" the pair roared as their claw like hands blurred, glowing with their inner energy, threatening to pierce through the half elf's chest like a ballista bolt.

Adam, feeling the air shift around him, brought his fists up in front of his face, and half squat, bracing himself for their vicious strikes, which curved around his defences, and struck him in the gut.

Health: 87 -> 32

Adam hacked, spitting out onto the floor. Then, peeking from behind his fists, with a grin that betrayed who his grandfather was, he spoke.

"What did you say? Rising dragon?"

Yet, the rightmost brother stepped in front, reaching for Adam's fist with his hands, but as his fist glowed a white bright, the twin hacked as the blow was too much for him, and he flew through the air, tumbling to one side.

"Ack!" the pair coughed, and the brother who was under Adam swiftly darted to his brother's side. 'So strong!'

"That technique you used, the Weal and Woe Dragon..."

"We are too weak to wield it properly," the pair admitted. "It is stronger with our sabres, but Master's Weal and Woe Dragon is greater!"

Adam remained quiet for a mont, recalling how their claw blow ford what looked to be a dragon out of ki. "It was... really cool! You two, you're really not just any ordinary Experts, are you? Haha! What did we say, a thousand gold? That's no problem! No problem at all!"

The twins blinked.

"I'll be sure to gift you each a pair of sabres too, so don't worry about that! Aren't we so lucky to have you?" Adam bead, and though his eyes held a greedy glare, it was only outmatched by the great generosity.

'What kind of monster is he?'

"Did you see that?" Adam half exclaid to his children, rushing up to them. "They're twins and they fight alongside each other so well, don't they?"

Jirot blinked, almost certain the half elf was going to ask for praise for winning, though of coas he would win, since daddy was so strong!

"Yes!" the children all shouted.

'So cool...' Karot and Jarot both thought, rembering the way their last blow looked.

'So cool,' Jurot thought.

"They're going to be working with the business from now on!"

"Oooh!"

"You need to thank your papos, since they brought such fun warriors to us, right?"

'Fun?' the Twin Steel Sabres thought.

"Yes!" the children each sward their papos, who drowned under their affection.

'I should kill them,' Lucy thought, since the twins should only look with such awe towards herself, Mara, their father, and the near countless figures around them.

'Master...' The pair thought, wishing the old man was here, for he would be able to explain the existence known as Adam to them.

'I might have struggled against them too,' Chosen thought, though unfortunately for them, it seed as though those with powerful muscles were able to deal with their abilities.

However...

The Weal and Woe Sabres was terrifying because...

"Now that you're both mbers of our business, I'll tell you about it," Adam said, inviting the pair in, pouring them tea, explaining to them their ranks, their contract, their paynt, their roles the business, what it dealt with, as well as the structure, and whatever else he felt was appropriate.

The pair listened intently, each with narrowed eyes, and the most intense concentration, as though they were able to wield the Weal and Woe Dragon once more.

"Do you understand?" Adam asked.

"No!" the pair replied confidently.

Adam blinked.

"We are very good at following orders, Mo!" the pair assured, with great pride, for even if they did not rember much, they rembered that much at least.

"Then..." Adam blinked once more. "For now, I'll leave you in charge of protecting Maharan."

"Yes!"

'The Weal and Woe Sabres?' Maharan thought, considering the figure was one of the few whose na carried far to the east, even further than the Confederacy. 'They say he hunted three wyverns in one night for daring to disturb his rest.'

The twins held that kind of aura about them, the kind that said though they had fought for their strength, they had been well taken care of, similar to the Iyr, though perhaps greater and lesser in so ways.

Maharan frowned. 'So people are born with all the luck...'

"Oh, right," the half elf said, suddenly sitting upright. "Tell about the family that you have so we can send so gold to them too, and if needed, also move them to the business."

"We only have Master and our martial brother."

"Oh..." Adam whispered.

Maharan blinked.

"I'll prepare sothing for your martial brother and your Master then..." Adam cleared his throat.

"Misters! We are twins too, just like you!" Jirot said, finally able to claim so ti with the twins. It was difficult, because even if she could bully her father, when he was that excited, even Jirot found it trouble to defeat her father.

"We heard about you!" the pair confird. "You look like bavwa but you are Iyrn."

'Huh?' Jirot blinked. "You are both so smart!"

'Huh?' The twins blinked. 'We are both so smart?'

The pair of twins each remained baffled by the others, who were engimas. One pair, bavwa, but Iyrn. The other, stupid, but smart.

"Tell about this martial brother of yours," Adam said, noticing that even his daughter was speechless, the girl taken aback, for certainly the pair were fools, but they were not fools.

"Brother Rais is so talented! Even under the clouds, the sun would find him!"

"Are you jealous your Master is watching over him?" Adam teased, though he was pretty sure neither would lie, or at the very least, it would be obvious when they lied.

"How could we be jealous? Master trained us and allowed us to make this much money!" the pair replied, offended by the Mo's words, though they tempered themselves swiftly, for he was still a Mo.

The half elf smiled. It appeared to be the case he would not need to worry about his Master or martial brother, or to try and fix their relationship, because that would ease his heart. "Where is your Master now?"

"Master is facing the Reavers."

"Oh! What a wonderful Master you have! I should probably go face the Reavers too..." The half elf avoided his daughter's glare. "Where is your junior brother then?"

"He is also off to face the Reavers."

"How old is he?"

"Twenty?" The pair replied, half uncertain, for they were never good with numbers.

"Isn't he... you know, a little... young?"

"He will reach Expert before the end of the year."

"Oh! Wow! That's pretty young. An Expert by twenty is pretty good!"

"He would be twenty one near the end of the year."

"Still! How impressive! I only know four people who managed to claim such a feat.

'Huh?' The twins blinked. "Four people?"

Adam laughed.

“Daddy! Stop bullying the misters!” Jirot huffed, finally unable to tolerate her father’s behaviour. “I want to play with them now!”

“Dear, they’re still resting,” the half elf urged.

“It is all your fault for beating them up!”

“Uguu! This father of yours, he was hurt too, wasn’t he?” Adam peeked down at his daughter.

His daughter flushed, the flash of her father hacking up spit all over the floor slipping into her mind. “Daddy! How can you say this? You are so strong! You would never lose!”

“You’re right.” The half elf’s heart swelled.

“You dare to lose in front of ? You will see what I do!” the girl declared, holding up a finger towards her father threateningly, her eyes full of a sudden viciousness.

“Okay, okay,” the half elf said, wrapping his strong arms around her, pulling her in close, easing the girl’s heart.

Little Jarot continued to think about how cool that technique was, and his greatfather thought to slaughter the newcors.
