Now let’s see here… Quite a bulk purchase, but that’s more than easy enough to carry around. Just the usual stuff she can throw in a pot or a pan and it’ll co out good.
Walking through the streets, there aren’t a lot of people or cars around, which considering how society as a whole slowed down a whole lot, it’s only natural. It’s going to take a few more weeks until the streets start to beco loud again.
Of course this also ans there aren’t a lot of people to run into, both familiar and unfamiliar. It’s going to be rather alarming if there’s anyone actually approaching soone, considering the general paranoia that people will have at this ti, especially out and about on the road.
I don’t really know much about streetbrawls and such, why would I do sothing that even has a little bit of chance of getting in trouble with the authorities?
“So what are you guys doing here?” I asked as I turned around, seeing five guys tailing .
“Tch. When did you figure it out?” The guy in the middle who seems to be a leader of this pack spoke up. Wearing only a black tank top and ripped jeans. The most notable part about him is his small monkey ears and the long monkey tail swaying side to side.
Felt like I had seen him before sowhere, but I can’t quite recall…
“I’m the one who asks first. Why are you tailing ?” I responded, not liking how rude they’re being.
“It’s simple! I want you to join our gang. Karra, I see what you managed to do in those streams, so how about-
“You can’t seriously expect to join just because you said so.” I cut him off before he could waste more of my ti. “Are you one of those magic gangs that’s been popping up or sothing? Because if so then you can go cause trouble on your own, I ain’t gonna join.”
“Why not!? I think you could use a reliable ally or five.” He seems rather undeterred. Why does he seem confident enough to even approach ? It’s not like I’m seen as weak. Right?
“No ans no.” I definitely answered. In the first place, who does he think he is to even approach with multiple lackeys? No matter how you look at it, this doesn’t seem all too friendly or considerate.
“Hey now, Karra. Why wouldn’t you want to join? The world is gonna be really dangerous, right? I bet you could use so company.” He said while his goons are surrounding , yeah nah, no way in hell I’m joining. Work on getting rid of that creepiness of yours first and foremost.
“As I said, no ans no. Who the hell are you anyway?” I asked, already resigning to the possibility of a fight.
“You don’t rember ?” He said for whatever reason. I have seen his face before, but I definitely never interacted with personally, I don’t think. “If that asshole Jass didn’t step in you wouldn’t have thought I was a crook!”
After that little rant I now rembered what happened. If I rember correctly he ca up to and tried to chat with a few tis, but Jass always stepped in to stop him from going further. It was weird, I don’t even know the guy personally and yet he’s trying to chat up like we’re pals.
“I don’t need Jass to know you are a creep.” I said it how I see it. He’s just one of those guys who tries to hit on girls and doesn't like being ignored. “Anyway, now that I know who you are, that’s all the more reason to not join your little gang.”
“You think you have a choice at this point!?” He said, clearly enraged. I am outnumbered, five-to-one, so he’s probably quite confident. “Do you think you can just run away now?”
“It’s just easy to do, actually.” I remarked, not concerned about my chances in the slightest. “You think that ears and tail of yours an anything, monkey boy?”
“Guys, get her!” Guess the answer to that is a yes.
Now two are running towards and the other two are preparing spells. One little problem I have is that I would rather not use destructive spells to end this early.
Not only would it risk actually killing soone, but people will definitely not ignore any collateral damage I caused.
*Shine*
Guess I have to use this!
“[Water Gun]! | [Thunderbolt]!” The two magic users said, aiming the water and lighting spell right at from two sides, while the other two stood in front and behind to block any possible escape route.
*Splash* *Crackle*
“...What?” The monkey guy seems rather perplexed as the two spells touching don't even do so much as making flinch.
*Dash* *Punch* *Smack*
Using the window of opportunity I ran at the lighting user and punched him in the gut before smacking him in the head, making him roll on the floor in pain.
“Damn you!” One of them said while all three are now trying to run at , probably to overpower by sheer numbers.
*Grab* *Toss* *Tumble*
I grabbed the one that reached first by the arm and threw him right at the other two, causing them all to tumble down.
“Raah!” The one I smacked to the ground stood back up, managing to stagger back to his feet and run at . “[Thunder Fist]!”
*Catch*
“What!?” I grabbed onto the electrified fist and clutched it tightly. Heh I don’t even feel it. “Agh! Grah!”
*Punch* *Slam*
I punched him in the sa place before throwing him to the ground, most likely incapacitating him for real.
*Dash* *Grab* *Slam*
I also haven’t forgotten about the other three mooks, so I ran towards them and grabbed one of them by the head and slamd it into another guy’s skull.
*Kick* *Stomp*
Then kicking the last guy down before stomping on him for good asure. I could see a bit of bleeding from all of them, but nothing too severe, hopefully.
“Now then, it’s just you left.” I said, dusting my hands off and looking at the guy who was frozen in fear until now.
*Sizz*
“[Fla Blast]!” He yelled and let out a large beam of flas towards . He does know his lackeys are right behind , right?
“[Tidal Wave]!” I countered the spell with a large wave of water.
*SPLASH*
It completely engulfed the spell he threw at , washing him away easily.
“Now then. Wasn't that anti-climatic.” I remarked, looking at the man collapsed on the ground, drenched and pathetic.
He staggered back to his feet with a rather enraged look. Guess he’s not done.
“Not finished?” I smugly said, looking at his poor state compared to earlier. “Unfortunately, I have sothing better to do, so goodbye.”
*Dash* *Kick*
I ran towards him and kicked him in the head before he could properly react, ending the confrontation quickly and swiftly.
…Okay, so maybe I am being a bit brutal on them, admittedly. A roundhouse kick is definitely not sothing soone pulling punches should do, but it was pretty impressive, I think.
But more importantly, let’s leave the scene and go get so groceries.

“...So I can’t be the only one surprised by that, right?” I can’t help but say to Glery. It’s more out of morbid curiosity at first, but now I’m just in awe.
“I an… Was anyone really expecting that?” Glery replied. The three other strangers who ca across this skirmish shake their heads in response.
“I know that she probably beca stronger with all those physical exercises she got from dungeon crawling, but that seems a bit much…” I have to say that out loud to make sure everyone knows how absurd what she just did was.
“I did see her body glow for a mont at the start of the fight, does that an anything?” Glery asked, and honestly I didn’t catch that at all. Would that actually an anything? Or was that just light being weird.
“I don’t know. What I do know is that what she did isn’t… realistic, I guess.” I don’t know what else to say. She clearly doesn’t even need to use any spells to win, just raw strength alone is enough to subdue five people with complete ease. “Oh, also, did anyone call for aid or anything?”
“Isn’t that guy doing that now?” Glery pointed out, looking at the guy talking on his phone. “Also, I really don’t want to stay around here and get in trouble, can we go eat already?”
“Uh. Sure.” I still wanna know more about how she does that, but I guess it’s better to avoid any trouble right now.

“Holy hell this is cool…” I can’t help but say, seeing the footage for real.
“” Jass remarked, containing his admiration better than I do. “”
“That’s what I want to know!” I said, probably having the least experience on the whole magic thing. I can admit that much. So what if I’m a bit clueless on things as long as I know what works and what doesn’t. “I could’ve sworn she wasn’t fighting like this a few days ago.”
“” Jass said, bringing up an interesting point.
“...And so she stayed and fought anyway because she’s confident she could win without any destructive spell?” I want to make sure I’m on the right track here.
“” Kenni chid in. “”
“” Jass muttered. “”
“” Kenni pointed out.
“” Jass started to ponder more and more.
“I could see that, and I want that.” I chid in with my own opinion.
“” Jass dryly said. “”
“” Kenni quickly replied.
*Beep*
“” Useph chid in and joined the group call.
“Oh, it’s about what Karra did two hours ago.” I answered for the three of us.
“ He quickly realized what I ant. “”
“” Kenni remarked. “”
“” Useph shared his thoughts. “”
“” Jass pointed out. “”
“...Wiina?” That’s the first na that ca to my mind.
“” He said, implying this Wiina lady wouldn’t find this impressive. Which you know what, I can see that. She’s simply in another league, just a spell wouldn’t be considered impressive to her.
“” Useph asked.
“” Kenni said. She’s definitely right that Karra doesn’t exactly have any obligation to share her secrets with us. Do I think she won’t? Not really.
