“Everyone here? Good.” Coach Wana’s voice rang out in the silent classroom, and the thing that accompanied her was a black box. “I think you don’t need to tell you what’s happening. There’s basically only one thing I am here to announce.”
She then lifts the box to show the tiny floating eye from yesterday, this ti actually being able to move around, but stuck in a glass box that is big for its small size.
“As you can see here, this little thing is the result of yesterday's experint going awry, the one that was broadcasted to the entire world, by the way.” Does she really need to emphasize that last point? What are they gonna learn anyway? Those underground governnt labs were already experinting with these things, it’s not like we’re bringing much to the table outside of showing that synthesizing is a thing, I guess? Pretty sure people were discussing that ever since the guilds beca a thing. I an why else would monster corpses have any value? “So, in order to properly raise it, which I don’t feel like doing. This thing is going to stay in this classroom as a class pet.”
“Class pet?” That’s pretty interesting. I guess it’s better than not knowing what’s going to happen to it. Monster raising is a pretty popular genre for a reason, so this is a pretty good arrangent.
“Yeah. You don’t really need to do anything. You can hit it if it bothers you, but don’t kill it. That’s the only rule.” Coach Wana said before opening the glass box so the little monster can fly out of it. It seems… apprehensive? It’s not doing anything outside of looking around before landing. It has two tiny bone arms at the bottom acting like legs, and a pair of wings on its back. It also has a film of flesh covering most of its eye body, so it can actually close its eye if it wants to.
“Nothing else? No catch for letting that thing roaming around?” Kenni went ahead and asked after a brief period of silence.
“None. I don’t think it’ll cause a problem for any of you anyway. Think of it as a nice decoration, or maybe not.” Coach Wana replied. “Anyway, don’t worry about its needs or if it’s stuck in here the whole ti, I’ll deal with that myself.”
“...So what’s gonna happen during the non-class ti?” Kenni asked.
“Not any of your problems, I can assure you.” Coach Wana replied. “I’ll keep track of its movent so it doesn't wander off. As we all should know by now, monsters by nature are predators, and everyone knows that at this point. Can’t have it roaming around making people freak the hell out.”
Considering how many strong fighters exist in the area, the chance of it just dying within a few seconds of it roaming around the town is quite high.
“So what’s up with that thing? It’s clearly no ordinary monster.” Orrel asked.
“Who’s to say? Not a lot of people are going around creating monsters. Even the Devil’s Bride barely ever does that.” …Who? “Alright, enough chatting. I got things to do, and keep an eye out on this little eye. See you all later.”
“Well yeah it is obviously suspicious, but are we really going to find anything today or tomorrow?” I asked before I continued eating.
“We’re gonna figure that out if we keep digging, won’t we?” Kenni replied. She seems really insistent on causing trouble today.
“Count out of it, I have already been through enough for a lifeti.” Jennla protested, and Seni nodded along ekly. Sotis I wonder how long she’s going to keep up that attitude. It’s not like we haven’t seen another side of her.
“What? Is it just ? Emmie, say sothing will ya?” Kenni pleaded with the other person most likely to cause trouble.
“Haste makes waste, so that’s a no.” She callously replied while eating what looked more like a pile of chilies than a pile of at.
“What? Don’t be a chicken, co on.” Kenni keeps pestering her to help with sothing she doesn’t even have a plan for. “...Fine. A bunch of partypoopers.”
Even if I am curious about that eyeball’s whole deal, it’s pretty clear that we know so little that we don’t even know how to extract information out of it. We don’t know if it can even hear what we said, understand what we said, or if it’s even sentient. Monsters are closer to animals so it shouldn’t be, but its movent is a bit too suspicious to not think otherwise. Either way, I think waiting is the best approach right now. It’s more like a thing that will beco important later. Right now I don’t see it really changing much in our day-to-day life.
As for anything on my agenda. After yesterday’s little debacle it’s probably best for to do a follow-up stream to clear sothing up and squeeze a bit more content out of the ordeal.
That is still not a lot on the table for , but then again a bit of down ti is good for anticipation. It hasn’t been that long since the collab dungeon run, I think I could do it again maybe next month or the month after.
Unlike a certain soone, I can’t be active all the ti.

“W-What the hell are you doing here!?” One of them shouted out in terror at my presence. Slowly walking towards them as all conflicts ca to a halt so suddenly. Like soone pausing a video right as it was getting to the good part.
“What’s with that tone? I should be able to be wherever I want. It’s not my fault that all of you happen to get in the way.” I said while fully analyzing the entire conflict. Seems like a pretty standard invasion. The scale of it is sothing even the other students could’ve easily dealt with. If it’s any consolation for these fools, at least I can afford to let them live.
*Dash* *Punch* *Strike* *Smash*
Before any of them could reply or make any moves, I already closed the distance between and these invaders, hitting them with simple lee attacks that knock them out in one blow each. Looking at their expressions as I make my way through them, none of them seem to even register my presence before my fist reaches them, only properly reacting when I have already moved on to other people.
All of them collapsed to the ground in quick fashion before any bystanders could even make a sound. No struggle, no magic, nothing but a quick loss of consciousness.
“How boring.” I remarked while dusting off my hands. There was not so much as an arm raised, a foot off the ground, or even our eyes eting. The gap is so massive that the exchange is more akin to stomping on a line of ants. There’s not much to it aside from getting rid of the pests, though I suppose there is a bit more incentive to get rid of it. This kind of struggle between more even opponents would’ve caused too much collateral damage to my liking. “Alright, ti to collar them up. All of you drag them into the nearest prison or whatever, I’m off to get lunch.”
*Snap* *nd*
As an extra bit of goodwill, I also heal everyone in the area while I summon collars onto them, closing any wounds or bruises that might cause trouble later down the line.
I then casually walked away while the defenders and bystanders could only look at in awe. Right now aside from doing what I stated earlier, I should buy sothing for Karra. Maybe just a few items from a nearby bakery, so cakes and other sweet stuff would do.
No one is following around or keeping their gaze on for too long. They’re clearly apprehensive and scared by what I just did. Despite ending the conflict with no fatality. The speed and efficiency was too much for them to comprehend, and therefore think of as sothing closer to a monster than a human.
Perhaps if I use a less forceful thod like a spell that inflicts drowsiness they wouldn’t have looked at like that, but a show of force will reinforce the view of as soone to fear and respect. Even without those debilitating spells or any esoteric technique I can still easily end most conflicts I ca across.
“Yo, got any recomndations?” I asked once I entered a nearby shop full of cakes and other desserts. The staff look a bit spooked at my presence. No one is manning the place and they’re huddling together in the back of the shop. “...The fight outside is over, you can continue the business, right?”
They are still clearly intimidated and unsure of what to do next. Can’t they be a bit more decisive? It’s clear none of them have any inkling on magic, so they can’t sense the battle coming to an end.
“Hey. Hurry up already. Give one of everything. Get moving.” I said with a displeased expression as I slamd my hand onto the countertop, causing them to be more shaken but finally responded and began moving. I don’t care if you’re a bunch of scaredy cats you’re still on the clock.
They quickly put one of everything into multiple boxes and bags and place it on the counter, all of them clearly still feeling restless despite the lack of enemies. Quite efficient in their movent regardless, but the attitude is a bit disheartening.
“So, how much is that?” I already calculated the amount, but I still asked upon seeing their hesitant figures, like they’re afraid to spell it out.
One of them then quickly shows the total amount while still looking afraid to speak up. I don’t consider myself that intimidating.
“Here you go, keep the change amongst yourselves.” I said before placing down a few hundred dollar bills before taking the stuff and walking out the store before putting them away.
The cops finally showed up and took every invader away while the adventurers who stayed and fought began dispersing. From my mories this is one of those areas where they haven’t really taken over the local governing body, but it’s pretty clear which side is mightier and would’ve won the power struggle. There’s a reason those officials only appear after everything is over and done with.
Anyway, none of this is my problem, so I’ll stroll around and see if there’s anything interesting around, like maybe soone with a lot of potential I can screw with or if there’s a rare item for to collect. Sotis you can find quite a valuable item from a pawn shop or sothing similar.
Aside from that, I ca up with a bit to ss with the others, but that will co later. Right now, let’s just explore.

“I think that’s plenty obvious.” I replied. Can’t she talk about this at a better ti?

“I believe we should keep track of its developnt, just to see where it can go. Otherwise it wouldn’t have been spared in the first place.” She keeps on yapping.

“Yeah yeah! I get it!” I shouted out as the last waves of enemies were almost done with. Probably better off saying that we’re chasing that last wave.

“...Phew. All done.” I said while looking at the carnage we caused and the robotic voice from the bracelet ringing to let us know the mission is over.
There’s a massive amount of blood and guts painting the streets red. Probably not ideal, especially for the people coming over to clean it up, but we’re not obligated to help in that regard, so whatever.

“I know that the mission is pretty easy, but surely we don’t need to talk in the middle of a fight.” I spoke up once we returned to the mission room.
“It was so easy I needed sothing to talk about to pass the ti.” She said with a flat face. I know that I wasn’t exactly being rciful to the enemies either, but at least I wasn’t the one callously bringing up an unrelated topic while killing them. That’s the ultimate disrespect.
“You speak like Emmie a few tis, you know that, right?” I don’t think that’s soone you should imitate for many valid reasons.
“I don’t see the problem.” She boldly proclaid. “Alright, there’s a bit of ti left for a al after a workout, let’s go.”
If anyone could see us right now they would definitely think of us as crazy psychos. At least we probably won’t get it as bad as those guys.
