Chapter 1140: Chapter 1940: Rash Diagnosis

After receiving a definite answer from Feng Jun, Yang Yuxin imdiately called her elder brother-in-law and outlined his conditions.

Eldest Gu, upon hearing the response, couldn’t help but snort heavily despite his usual stoic deanor. “Heh, he’s really confident, huh? Treat one but not the second—who gave him the authority to talk like this?”

“He’s not refusing treatnt,” Yang Yuxin defended Feng Jun tactfully. “It’s just that whether he treats or not depends on his mood. I explained this to you last ti… What he prioritizes most is his own cultivation. Other matters aren’t very important to him.”

Eldest Gu was unimpressed and spoke leisurely, “With skills like his, not serving the country? Why are people like this these days? Sigh… By the way, what exactly is he cultivating?”

“I’m sorry, but I can’t disclose that,” Yang Yuxin offered a bitter smile. “Big Brother, the manor has strict confidentiality protocols. Please understand.”

Eldest Gu chuckled at her words. “Haha, soone dares ntion confidentiality protocols to ? In Huaxia, what information exists that I don’t have the right to access? Do you even know my clearance level?”

“So people simply have their own principles,” Yang Yuxin replied with a smile. “Big Brother, do you believe this? Our conversation right now is likely being monitored.”

“Damn it!” In a small van parked outside the mountain gate, soone hastily turned off their equipnt and removed their headset, grumbling softly, “This Yang Yuxin is ruthless, reporting it straight to the heavens.”

Spying on that person’s phone call was certainly no trivial matter.

What they didn’t expect, however, was that Eldest Gu remained entirely unfazed by this. He replied nonchalantly, “Let them listen. We’re not discussing anything unspeakable. At my level, personal privacy practically doesn’t exist. Besides, their confidentiality regulations an nothing will leak.”

“Exactly,” Yang Yuxin chuckled. “You have your confidentiality protocols, and the Master has his. Isn’t that perfectly normal? Different circles don’t need to force integration.”

Eldest Gu’s lips curled into a faint sneer—He dares compare himself to ? And what “different circles”?

But so things were better kept to oneself; there was no need to flaunt superiority. “Fine, since you’ve won this opportunity, I’ll arrange for Xiao Song to be sent over as soon as possible.”

Eldest Gu always acted efficiently. That very evening, Xiao Song was sent to the gates of Luohua Manor.

At only thirty-three, Xiao Song was physically decent but ntally distressed. Once earning his livelihood through physical prowess, now paralyzed from the waist down at such a young age, how could he possibly be in good spirits?

Upon learning of the situation, Feng Jun casually instructed soone to stop the vehicle at the mountain gate. “It’s already dark. Ask him to find a place to rest for the night, and I’ll see him tomorrow during the day.”

Xiao Song and his companion were baffled. Had they not followed orders from Boss Gu, traveling urgently? Yet they were denied entry at the gate?

Fortunately, Xiao Song’s caretaker, knowing mbers of the Gu Family resided within the manor, refrained from making a scene. Instead, he decided to call for instructions before taking any further action.

He rang up Director Yang, only to be stunned by the response. “You’re saying we should follow Luohua’s arrangents? Director Yang, Boss Gu explicitly ordered this to be handled urgently!”

“I am also part of Luohua,” Yang Yuxin retorted bluntly. “It’s late; it’s inconvenient to let you in now. Let make it clear: even Elder Yu’s security team waits outside the gate. His own children need approval before entering.”

Since they worked in this field, there was no need to sugarcoat things. At a certain level, Elder Yu’s whereabouts weren’t exactly a secret.

Her words left the three newcors outside completely deflated. However, they couldn’t help but struggle to understand—Luohua might be prestigious, but outright disregarding Boss Gu? Was that really appropriate?

Whether or not they understood, they stayed outside for the night and returned to the manor gates at around nine the next morning.

This ti, entry was smooth. A lovely young lady drove them in an electric cart to a large courtyard. The villa residents denied them entrance, leaving them to wait under a massive tree in the yard.

Though Xiao Song remained ntally out of sorts, experiencing Luohua’s proud deanor the previous day rekindled a glimr of hope regarding his treatnt.

Looking around, his eyes suddenly fell on a small tower built entirely of jade. He couldn’t help but mutter, “An entire building made of white jade… This manor is truly extravagant.”

Just then, Yang Yuxin approached with Gu Jiahui. Since advancing to the first layer of transcending the mundane, her hearing had sharpened significantly, and she overheard his comnt, casting a glance in his direction.

She didn’t dwell on it but rather addressed them sternly, “Since my elder brother recomnded you, let explain the rules here. While you’re here, there’s only one principle: absolute obedience.”

All three imdiately understood who she was and nodded promptly. “Greetings, Director Yang.”

One of them hesitated before asking, “Absolute obedience… to whom?”

“To anyone,” Yang Yuxin replied firmly and then gestured towards the girl beside her. “This is my daughter, Gu Jiahui. Even she has to obey many people in the manor. Understood?”

The trio gasped audibly. Eldest Gu had chosen not to elaborate on Luohua for fear of its implications spreading. Hearing this now, their astonishnt was palpable.

“Understood,” Xiao Song was the first to nod, then asked tentatively, “Are the people here really that formidable?”

Yang Yuxin shook her head, her tone earnest. “You should understand the confidentiality rules. Do not ask questions. Once again, when you leave, keep your mouth shut.”

All three were familiar with confidentiality rules, but one hesitated before asking, “What if the Boss wants to know?”

Yang Yuxin replied calmly, “You can discuss the treatnt process. For anything else, let my brother ask directly.”

The trio nodded—whether they’d adhere to this confidentiality agreent before Eldest Gu was questionable, but they certainly wouldn’t dare to spread the information publicly.

At that mont, Gu Jiahui couldn’t help but speak. “You’d best not doubt Mountain Master Feng. Earlier, soone said the building was white jade? That’s mutton fat white jade—more precious than gold.”

The trio was once again dumbfounded, instinctively glancing at Yang Yuxin—Is your child telling the truth?

Director Yang nodded slightly. “That’s correct. The Master has reached a realm where wealth holds little significance. Understand how rare it is to be granted a treatnt slot.”

At that point, a young man erged from the villa. He stood tall and possessed a handso face.

He approached swiftly, handing a sheet of paper to Yang Yuxin. “Director Yang, here are the treatnt steps.”

Then, he produced three jade vials and handed them to Gu Jiahui. “This contains one Foundation Establishnt Pill, one Bone Healing Pill, and two Tendon Strengthening Pills. Administer them periodically following the treatnt plan.”

Gu Jiahui took the pills in a daze and hesitated before asking, “This ti… no massage?”

From her experience, Feng Jun’s treatnts always began with massages before administering dicine.

Of course, she knew those “massages” actually involved infusing the recipient’s body with spiritual energy.

Thus, finding this step omitted puzzled her.

“This person doesn’t need a massage,” Feng Jun answered nonchalantly. When he perford massages, it was typically to stabilize soone too weak to handle treatnt or to expedite results.

This ti, Xiao Song was young and in relatively good shape, so Feng Jun had no interest in going out of his way. He thought, It’s already a free treatnt; what more do you want?

Feng Jun’s confidence ca from a preemptive simulation run on his mobile phone.

However, since Gu Jiahui had asked, Feng Jun retrieved a small box and handed it to her. “This contains half a Body Tempering Pill.”

He then took the paper back from Yang Yuxin, added a note with a pen, and handed it to her again. “All right, Director Yang, proceed with this treatnt plan. The additional half Body Tempering Pill will enhance the results.”

With that, he quickly turned and left.

For a long mont, the trio stood there in a daze. Rembering Yang Yuxin’s warnings, they didn’t dare voice their thoughts aloud, finally asking, “Director Yang, that person just now was…”

“That’s Mountain Master Feng,” Gu Jiahui replied earnestly. “The head of Luohua Manor.”

“Tsk,” Xiao Song clicked his tongue in disappointnt. “He didn’t even do a proper diagnosis—just prescribed dicine like that?”

Though initially hopeful, Xiao Song now felt a wave of despair. Setting aside the man’s apparent youth, his diagnostic thod seed far too cursory.

Gu Jiahui cast him a disdainful glance. “You underestimate the Master’s abilities. If he says this treatnt will work, it will.”

The trio exchanged uneasy glances, each wondering if the mother and daughter had been brainwashed.

Yang Yuxin noticed their expressions and felt annoyed. Eldest Gu doubting her was one thing, but even these three? She waved the paper in front of them. “Have a look. Does this seem hastily written?”

The trio leaned in and saw it truly was handwritten. Although they didn’t fully understand terms like “Foundation Establishnt Pill,” terms like “Tendon Strengthening Pill” and “Bone Healing Pill” were self-explanatory.

While the pills were few, the treatnt plan outlined over ten steps, including the specific dosage of “one-fourth of a Foundation Establishnt Pill.”

With the added Body Tempering Pill, the trio finally concluded that the plan must indeed have been written on the spot.
