Chapter 1204: Chapter 1204: Blocking the Door (First Update to Celebrate Wei Fang Lao Ju)
Feng Jun was truly speechless about Elder Yu’s security crew. They were certainly professional, and the manor’s security had significantly improved under their watch. However, they often made mountains out of molehills and occasionally even gave Luohua’s friends a hard ti.
Luohua’s current business dealings didn’t require anyone’s help, so her friends being inconvenienced didn’t cause much of a loss. Even so, it was still an unpleasant matter.
When Feng Jun’s car ca to a stop, his brows furrowed slightly. A security guard imdiately noticed his expression and stepped forward to explain, “These are tourists attempting to trespass illegally into the manor.”
“Illegal trespassing into the manor?” Sister Hong raised an eyebrow. This sort of thing happened occasionally, but on this issue, Luohua actually supported the security crew. “They didn’t use the main entrance?”
“We’re outdoor enthusiasts,” a young man called out loudly. “Why should we have to use the main entrance?”
Another young man also shouted, “The scenery belongs to all of humanity! And yet you’re barbarically detaining university students? I’ll make sure to expose you online!”
“Expose us? Hah,” Feng Jun snorted dismissively. This is Old Master Yu’s retirent sanctuary—do you really think you’ll achieve anything by exposing it?
Still, his current strategy was to keep things low-key. To play it safe, Feng Jun gestured for one of the security guards to co over and asked in a low voice, “Why are there supposedly Shaomin university students here?”
“They’re not Shaomin,” the guard shook his head. “They’re foreign exchange students.”
A cold gleam flashed in Feng Jun’s eyes. “Then it’s a good opportunity to investigate. Could they be performing illegal cartography? Uh, wait—are they students from Ba Tie?”
“No,” the guard shook his head again, though a barely repressed smile crept onto his face. “Even if they were from Ba Tie, we wouldn’t worry about it.”
“Thanks for your hard work,” Feng Jun nodded and then drove off without further delay.
This ti, he was driving his low-profile Phaeton, silently pulling up to the villas near the park.
To get here, aside from entering through the park’s main gate, there was another option: cutting through a residential complex. The complex had extrely strict security, but when Sister Hong flashed a black card, they were let through without issue.
She smiled and explained to Feng Jun, “This is the black VIP card for the complex… Annual fee is 15,000.”
A VIP card for a residential complex? Feng Jun wanted to question it, but after thinking it over, he figured it was likely just for services like housekeeping, fitness, or bathing facilities. “Get one of those soti.”
The Phaeton glided smoothly through the complex and arrived at an iron gate—a back entrance leading from the complex into the park. This gate was ant for residents to enter the park for exercise and prohibited vehicle access. However, when Sister Hong showed her VIP card to the gatekeeper, the barrier was raised.
The villa wasn’t far from the back gate, perhaps less than 200 ters.
As the car pulled up to the villa’s front entrance, Feng Jun was taken aback. Why were there two cars parked in front of his gate?
The villa’s main gate wasn’t flush with the street; it was set back over four ters, forming a semicircular area. This space was more than 30 square ters and technically part of Feng Jun’s property rights.
He had left this space open to make vehicle access more convenient and to lend an air of grandeur to the entrance. To him, gates positioned right next to a road felt too cramped and unrefined.
But now soone had turned his doorway into a parking lot. This couldn’t be tolerated—parking in front of soone else’s gate? How shaless could one be?
Sister Hong spoke apologetically. “That’s my oversight. Originally, there was a long-term gardener here who ca daily to tend the trees and clean, but sothing happened in his family recently. I should’ve arranged for housekeeping services from the complex to keep an eye on things instead…”
The plot of land the villa was on had been sold to Feng Jun by the real estate developer, but the villa wasn’t under the complex’s managent—there wasn’t even a property fee to pay.
Sister Hong had dismissed the complex’s housekeeping services as too diocre. She also wanted to avoid letting anyone uncover Feng Jun’s secrets. Waiting for the gardener to return, she ended up neglecting the issue. However, the gardener didn’t co back for weeks, and Sister Hong—preoccupied with cultivation—had let the matter slip from her mind.
As a result, after a month of vacancy, the space in front of the gate had been turned into a parking lot.
Feng Jun checked the ti. It was 7 PM. He got out of the car and walked toward the two vehicles.
One was a Toyota Prado, and the other a BMW X5—neither was a cheap car.
Feng Jun circled the vehicles to confirm that neither had left a contact number for moving the cars. So he stepped forward and kicked the BMW’s tire. Its alarm imdiately blared.
Then he gave the Toyota a kick, which triggered its alarm as well.
After a few kicks back and forth, a burly man in his thirties quickly ca out from the complex’s back gate. He was bare-chested, wearing only shorts, with tattoos covering his shoulders.
He took one look at the situation and imdiately understood. Despite his “tough guy” appearance, he raised a hand in greeting politely. “Uh… you two live inside, huh?”
Feng Jun and Sister Hong didn’t respond; they just stared at him coldly—whether we live here or not, is this how you park?
“Oh, uh, my apologies,” the man said without getting angry, even though Feng Jun and Sister Hong stayed silent. He pressed his car key’s remote, and the BMW’s headlights flashed—it turned out he was the BMW’s owner.
Only then did Sister Hong speak calmly. “Don’t park here again. This is the gate.”
“Got it.” The burly man felt slightly annoyed at being scolded, but knowing he was in the wrong, he simply cast Sister Hong a quick glance and started to move his car.
But the next mont, he paused, turning back to take a closer look at Sister Hong. Hesitating, he asked, “Wait… are you Sister Hong?”
Zhang Weihong nodded. Since she’d been recognized, she decided to respond in her usual bold manner. “You’ve got guts, brother, blocking my gate and still walking away intact… You must be blessed with so serious luck.”
“Holy crap!” The burly man wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. “Sister Hong, I’m with Brother Wen! Thank goodness I didn’t act out of line; otherwise, even Brother Wen couldn’t have saved . Gotta stay humble in life.”
Sister Hong replied seriously, “It’s not about being humble or not. What you did was wrong. What’s there to flaunt?”
“Sister Hong, truly respectable!” The burly man gave her a thumbs-up while sneaking a glance at Feng Jun—just who was this bigshot?
Feng Jun ignored his gaze. Hearing the Prado’s alarm stop, he stepped forward and kicked its tire again. “What’s the aning of this?”
The burly man moved his car to a nearby spot—it wasn’t far off, just a grassy area you could park on. But unlike in front of the villa, there wasn’t the shade of trees.
After locking his BMW, he returned to find Feng Jun kicking the Prado again. Taking out a pack of cigarettes, he offered one to Feng Jun with a smile. “Hey, brother, take it easy. Let’s hold on for a bit…”
“Ahem,” Sister Hong coughed lightly. “Brother? Is that what you call him? Try addressing him as ‘Boss’!”
She wasn’t intentionally putting on airs. Since the man had recognized her, she needed to adopt her “Society’s Sister Hong” deanor—it was how things were done in their circles.
The burly man imdiately caught on. Realizing Feng Jun’s status, he respectfully lit a cigarette for him and said, “Boss, no rush. So people just lack good manners… Maybe they parked their car and left to handle so business. Let’s give them a bit more ti.”
Feng Jun frowned at this. “I’m busy too. What if they never co back? Am I supposed to wait for them forever?”
Sister Hong didn’t seem happy about the situation either. She pulled out her phone and made a call.
After a cigarette’s worth of ti, the car owner still hadn’t shown up. Sister Hong made another call. Hanging up, she looked at Feng Jun and said, “Boss, should we just push the car?”
The burly man jumped in quickly, “I’ll help! Heck, if you want, I can call my brothers over, and we’ll push it straight into a ditch for you.”
Feng Jun chuckled coldly. “No need,” he said, walking to the back of the Toyota. Placing his hands firmly on the car, he rocked it back and forth a few tis.
“Seriously?!” The burly man’s eyes widened in disbelief. That Prado weighed two tons! Comparable to his BMW X5!
Feng Jun scoffed. “Its handbrake isn’t on. Step aside—I’ll push it out of the way.”
Had it not been for the surveillance caras throughout the park or the broad daylight, he had plenty of ways to deal with this annoyance.
The burly man quickly got behind the car with Feng Jun, helping him push. Together, they moved the Prado onto the park’s lakeside road.
Just then, a woman’s startled screams pierced the air. From a faraway high-rise, a window flung open, and soone began shouting and gesturing furiously. “What are you doing?!”
Seeing this, the burly man imdiately erupted in anger. “Goddammit! So, you’ve been watching the whole ti! If I hadn’t moved the car, I wouldn’t have known you were just sitting there enjoying the show!”
Still fuming, he yelled, “We live in the sa residential complex, right? If I don’t teach you a lesson, I’m no man!”
By the ti the woman hurried over, the tow truck Sister Hong had called had arrived. That’s right—she had directly summoned a tow truck into the park.
The park managent office, being on Sister Hong’s side, had granted access to the truck.
When the woman saw her car being lifted onto the tow truck and dragged away, she went berserk. Sprinting toward the truck, she recklessly climbed onto its side step, shouting, “Stop! How dare you tow my car?!”
The woman, in her early thirties, had fairly decent looks but was quite short—barely 1.6 ters tall, if that.
The driver shot her an indifferent glance and continued driving. “You parked in the wrong place. Of course your car gets towed.”
“What gives you the right to tow my car?!” She slapped the truck window desperately, screaming hysterically. “Stop! Stop right now!”
The tow truck couldn’t go too fast, especially inside the park. Seeing she couldn’t stop the driver, the woman jumped down and ran in front of the truck, arms spread wide, blocking its path.
Even in her frenzy, she managed to pull out her mobile phone, screaming wildly, “Go ahead, run over if you dare! Is this what passes for Zhengyang Police’s professionalism?!”
