Capítulo 1560: Chapter 1560: Words Beco Law

Most of the ti, the equipnt used by the FBI isn’t particularly advanced—even the CIA is sowhat better.

But this signal van is truly advanced, comparable to the reconnaissance standards of sothing like the EP-3.

Considering the missing Huaxia artifacts from a private museum, McWhite had reason to believe that among Sofia’s associates, there might very well be a Huaxia Citizen, and once this signal van fell into their hands, it would practically spell disaster.

So all night, he was tracking Sofia’s whereabouts.

Unfortunately, Sofia’s relationship with the Jansen Family is really not harmonious. Old Jansen was already snoring, ignoring these people, while other mbers of the Jansen Family said Sofia was just a child and would mature in ti.

As for Sofia’s whereabouts, everyone unanimously said: We really don’t know.

The next morning, the weather improved a bit, the snow stopped, and finally, an ambulance arrived to take away three wounded individuals, and the police and militia also withdrew.

McWhite and his team searched until the afternoon but still couldn’t find the signal van. Seeing the snow starting again, they hurriedly installed so surveillance and listening devices and left with three staff mbers—after thinking for a while, he decided to leave two employees behind.

However, these two employees were different. They rented a room in Sofia’s uncle’s house and set up professional equipnt.

Sofia’s uncle was not very fond of these people either, but given the large family, unity was not guaranteed. He thought it wise not to overly antagonize the FBI—as their decision to monitor wouldn’t change anyway, he figured it was better to let them do it openly.

However, around eight in the evening, these two disappeared again. McWhite imdiately called, “What happened to my people? Did the note on the door fall off?”

When McWhite left people behind, he considered the potential danger. Sofia had already lured people into the wilds more than once. Would the sa thing happen to the ones he left this ti?

Yet, it was impossible not to leave people, so they not only chose to rent a house in the Jansen household to make the surveillance appear legitimate, they also printed two notes and stuck them on the door.

The note read, “This is our duty, you have the right to express dissatisfaction, but please communicate first, it’s really cold outside.”

Clearly, Sofia could not have missed the content on the note.

However, Sofia’s uncle answered rather dejectedly, “Sorry, I just took a look, they are not only gone, but the equipnt is missing too, only their coats are left.”

“What… coats?” McWhite couldn’t help but curse, “This is too much, this is murder!”

But the other party didn’t think so, “I think the main reason is that my room is relatively warm.”

“Damn it,” McWhite shouted loudly, “Mr. Jansen, I need your help, my people were found yesterday at that place, please get them back quickly… they are even wearing only underwear, hurry, hurry, hurry!”

This ti, Sofia did show so rcy, although the kidnapped individuals weren’t wearing coats, the trackers were not removed, and they even had their mobile phones on them, plus they were abandoned at the place where the three were found yesterday.

As for wearing only underwear, that was purely an exaggerated rhetorical expression—they simply didn’t have coats on, but they were at least wearing thick shirts and wool pants.

Just like McWhite printed two notes, Sofia left a line of words directly in the snow—”Next ti, it won’t be so easy to find them, if you don’t believe , try it.”

Leaving words in the snow was enough to indicate the issue. If the people hadn’t been found in ti, the words left would have been covered by snow, showing she really was lenient this ti.

The two were rescued relatively promptly, though they only avoided frostbite; a cold was unavoidable.

They woke up in the middle of the night and resolutely refused to stay there any longer.

That’s a story for another ti. Less than half an hour after being rescued, Sofia reappeared, still with that young white male, and took away the surveillance equipnt installed just that day.

This ti there weren’t many surveillance devices, only about ten or so in total.

Then, in front of everyone, she went to Old Jansen’s house to demand her passport.

Jansen now realized his granddaughter’s extraordinary abilities—at least the FBI was helpless against her, and naturally, he wouldn’t block her in matters like this anymore. However, he couldn’t resist asking, “In the current situation, do you think having a passport is enough to leave the country?”

“I want to go back and rest,” Sofia said, picking up her passport and turning to leave, “Feel free to let them co and find trouble, but please tell them for , Grandpa, that next ti I won’t be so lenient.”

This was her own decision, backed by Feng Jun—constantly hiding wasn’t a solution either, so why not confront them directly, as Feng Jun put it, to bring about fifty years of peace.

Then, in full view, Sofia really went back to her yard to sleep.

The FBI’s surveillance system faithfully recorded this scene—Feng Jun had dismantled the surveillance in Sofia’s ho, but the ones the FBI installed in others’ hos were not easy to deal with.

Of course, if Feng Jun wanted to, he could silently destroy those monitoring devices too, but since there was about to be a confrontation, he wasn’t in a hurry to destroy them; it was just as well to notify the other party.

The FBI arrived slower than expected, only making it there at eight the next morning. This ti there were four vehicles, and more than a dozen people surrounded Sofia’s little yard, ard with both long and short guns.

Sofia’s bodyguard Johnson was very professional, appearing at the window with a shotgun, loudly declaring, “Warning, this is private property, this is private property, unauthorized entry may lead to being shot!”

“FBI in action!” Soone flashed their badge and shouted loudly, “Warning, you are surrounded, drop your weapons or bear the consequences!”

Johnson wanted to say sothing, but Sofia’s voice rang out, “Johnson, go check their badges, if there’s no problem, let them in!”

“FBI,” Johnson muttered quietly. If Sofia hadn’t spoken up, he would have had to challenge them, which carried so risk. Now there’s no need for hesitation, but the FBI’s casual threats still pissed him off.

He walked to the door and checked their identification through the courtyard gate, then opened the main door.

As soon as the door was opened, four or five people rushed in, assuming combat stances.

A burly man passed by Johnson, suddenly threw a punch without warning, hitting Johnson’s stomach squarely, causing him to bend over.

Sofia happened to co out, seeing this, her eyebrows raised in anger, she shouted, “You dare to hit soone in my house?”

“Stinking whore,” the burly man sneered at her, exceptionally fierce, “et , I’m Jason, I now declare…”

“I declare!” Sofia raised her voice, coldly interrupting him, “You are guilty!”

Jason dashed towards her, showing no pity, raising his hand ready to punch.

However, he rushed quickly and fell even faster, the next mont he slamd onto the ground, unbelievably fast.

Everyone was stunned — the infamous Jason, knocked down in one move?

“What did you do!” Soone cried out in rage, rushing forward to tend to Jason.

“I declare!” Sofia said coldly, “Anyone who dares to care for this thug is guilty!”

The person’s hand was about to touch Jason’s shoulder but stopped abruptly at her words, looking up at her coldly.

Though his gaze was cold, it carried inexplicable fear, “Why?”

Sofia couldn’t be bothered with him, she glanced around, speaking sternly, “Who’s the leader? Step forward and speak!”

A gaunt man stepped out, “Hello, Miss Jansen, my na is McWhite.”

Sofia looked at him blankly for a mont, then laughed, “If you’re McWhite, then who is Carl Black? That guy from Maple Syrup Town?”

McWhite’s face changed instantly; his real na wasn’t a secret among colleagues, but few knew his origin — it’s quite normal, few wish to endanger family when doing such dangerous work.

So he forced a smile, “Miss Jansen, don’t joke with , we use different aliases for each mission.”

“I’m not interested in joking with you,” Sofia shook her head, “Why have so many co here?”

McWhite coughed lightly, “There are so matters we need to discuss with you, Sofia, important matters.”

Sofia coldly chuckled, “Important enough to curse and hit my bodyguard on the first eting?”

“You understand Jason’s situation,” McWhite spread his hands, helplessly saying, “His subordinates faced misfortune, so his emotions are unstable, I apologize to you.”

“No need,” Sofia shook her head, speaking with a blank face, “You apologized last ti, but he behaved even worse… Now, do you think having more people ans you can handle ?”

McWhite understood very well, Jason’s aggressive entrance was partly due to old grievances but also ant to intimidate Sofia — the FBI is not as pliable as one might think.

But now the problem is, not only did the intimidation fail, it backfired, “Can I ask first… how did you get my information?”

Sofia glanced at him softly, with a slight smile, “Your information? Wrong, if I want, I can acquire information on all of you…”

Then she slightly tilted her chin towards the motionless Jason, “Redneck William… Am I right?”

McWhite was instantly petrified; fewer knew William was a Texan than knew his background.

Suddenly, he realized he had no idea how to end this, he paused, then awkwardly asked, “Then how did you do it?”

“Jinwu Sunflower,” Sofia replied faintly, “It granted this power.”

This statent was her own creation, not instructed by Feng Jun.
