Chapter 1677: Chapter 1679: Using Himself as Bait

With a cry of “vermin,” several green lights flashed by, much faster than the first one.

Obviously, Feng Jun had completely angered the opponent.

The green lights ca from all directions, and in an instant, Feng Jun cast three Firewall Talismans, but as for the fourth, he simply did not have ti.

He only had ti to slap a High-Rank Defense Talisman on his body, and that was it.

The green light rcilessly shattered the Firewall Talismans one by one, but when it reached him, it didn’t cause any critical damage. Instead, it wrapped around him like vines.

Feng Jun had so estimation of this, as he had already seen through the opponent’s true form. But no matter how you looked at it, shouldn’t he be dodging?

However, not really. The green lights coming over were not ant to kill him, but to capture him.

At this point, he actually could leave. The won were already protected, Feng Jing was holding his waist, and even the potentially troubleso Little Princess from Pine Cypress Peak had already entered his Longsheng Folding Fan.

As for Aunt Qiu’s life or death, he’s sorry, but he couldn’t consider it. In fact, he thought of it, Pine Cypress Peak seed strictly adhered and vengeful, but Aunt Qiu at the Golden Core level was less important compared to Yan Yuxi.

Never mind that Yan Yuxi has the surna Yan, and her clan’s protection and such are objective realities, but ultimately, Yan Yuxi’s potential is too strong. If sothing happened to her, Pine Cypress Peak wouldn’t agree.

But leaving at this mont really felt too unwilling, because due to ti dilation, once he left, this place would be frozen in ti, so he couldn’t choose to co back—otherwise, whatever predicant he left in, he’d face the sa when he returned.

So, what he chose must be other traces, and there’s no way he could co back here again.

However, this brought up a new issue: if he traveled to White Pebble Beach via other traces, this enemy still remained unsolved—a potential, highly threatening enemy to him.

And if he wanted to hide away, grow stronger and then look for this opponent, he couldn’t find them!

Of course, he could use the trace feature to leave a mark here, but the current problem was he might not have the ti to leave a trace, and he couldn’t be sure what he’d face once he entered here through the trace again.

So the best way was to destroy this place, take down the Boss, and end it once and for all.

He felt it wasn’t pride—he had all the preparations in place and could withdraw at any ti, so why not pursue a better result?

So he stubbornly held on until the green lights wrapped around him.

Actually, the green light was the True Immortal’s true form, a rosewood spirit, not yet fully transford nor having survived the Nascent Soul calamity, situated between Golden Core and Nascent Soul.

Although it hadn’t survived the Nascent Soul calamity, it had the strength of a Nascent Soul True Immortal, clamping down… very tight.

Feng Jun was doing slightly better, while Feng Jing, who was hugging him, had blood flowing from her mouth and nose—still too weak at the ninth level of Mortal Transformation.

However, Feng Jun had no choice. He didn’t want his woman to suffer, but the mobile phone search results told him: this was the internal space of the rosewood spirit, an independent, private space completely controlled by the rosewood spirit.

In other words, this space was entirely opened up by it, difficult for outsiders to find, and in its space, it was the ruler. It was not easy for others to touch it.

Feng Jun had once destroyed Kunlun’s mountain gate by targeting the formation pillar and even grabbed the deck of the flying boat, taking it to the Earth Plane, even into Outer Space, almost unable to find an end, but there was at least sothing to grab onto with the deck.

However, now, retreating to Earth alone was easy, and leaving with people wasn’t difficult—with Feng Jing by his side, that was fine—but wanting to destroy this independent space… first, he needed to find so support.

With the empty surroundings, the mbrane-thin ground beneath him, there was nothing to grab onto. In the space opened up by the other party, he had no choice but to allow it.

So he could only choose to be captured by the other party.

Of course, this entailed a certain risk, betting that the other side would only capture and not kill him. However, Feng Jun felt that before understanding his own origin, or at least before figuring out how to use the mobile phone, the other party most likely would only heavily injure him.

He bet correctly, but Feng Jing was inevitably injured.

Feng Jun couldn’t afford to worry about her right now. Taking advantage of being bound by the opponent, he directly delivered a heavy soul attack.

His soul was claid to be strong, but that depended on whom it was compared to. Battling souls with a True Immortal was a joke, even though the spirit’s soul was relatively weak.

But this desperate strike did cause the opponent so minor trouble, and he seized the montary pause to grab onto the most tangible green light, secretly chanting in his heart: “Withdraw”!

The next mont, he was back on Earth, with no ti to check Feng Jing’s injuries, directly taking out his mobile phone and following the traces to Amstan in Australia.

Upon arrival, Feng Jun quickly flashed into the Spirit Gathering Array, then set aside Feng Jing to check her injuries.

Teacher i’s injuries weren’t severe, yet not light either. Several bones were broken, and her internal organs were slightly damaged and displaced.

Fortunately, Feng Jun was not lacking in pills. After so deduction, he realized that it would take two or three days for the injuries to stabilize. Only then did he release Zhang Caixin and the others—leaving Mi Yunsan and Yan Yuxi inside was still a good idea.

As soon as the Zhang family sisters ca out, they were shocked by Feng Jing’s miserable state, but before they could ask, Feng Jun promptly spoke up—in Haozhou dialect, “We encountered a strong enemy; she fulfilled her mission by protecting you.”

The sisters exchanged glances upon hearing this, but it was Sister Hong who spoke first, again using the Haozhou dialect, “She did well, all thanks to her. Should I take care of her?”

“I have a plan for her care,” Feng Jun wrote down the deduced treatnt thod, then looked at Zhang Caixin. “You keep watch and don’t let anyone approach.”

Zhang Caixin took another look at the unconscious Feng Jing, her expression a bit complex, but in the end, she nodded and turned to leave.

Feng Jun then set up an Illusion Array, walked inside, and asked, “Is there nothing you want to say?”

After a montary silence, the Big Boss’s thought slowly erged, “Hmm, is this your sect’s small world?”

“I have no interest in explaining this to you,” Feng Jun’s voice was a bit impatient, indicating his current emotional instability, “I just want to know why you didn’t warn, show up, or cooperate?”

The Big Boss internally griped, thinking of how it was rely a Ninth Transformation and no one died, why such an attitude?

Yet, having lived so long, it understood people protect their loved ones, so it still answered, “It was a Heavenly Demon, a great threat to … Once it sets its sights on , even if I eventually win, there’s still a high chance of being affected or assimilated by it.”

Feng Jun could accept this reason but was still a bit annoyed, “Even a slight warning would have prevented that Heavenly Demon from escaping amid so many Golden Cores at White Pebble Beach, right?”

The Big Boss wasn’t happy being blad and retorted, “You’re speaking while sitting comfortably. It wasn’t just a Heavenly Demon; there was also a True Immortal behind it… Can those few Golden Cores at White Pebble Beach handle a True Immortal?”

Feng Jun snorted dismissively, “Do you think that True Immortal would dare to act openly?”

The Big Boss was left speechless but eventually said, “I like to develop myself discreetly, and don’t you as well? Moreover, I have good news… My intention in not revealing myself was to have you take out, so I can find this guy’s lair.”

Feng Jun was surprised, “You know this Redwood Spirit?”

“A Redwood Spirit?” The Big Boss pondered for a mont, then gave a light snort, “This is a mutated Redwood Spirit. Ti divine skills aside, creating its own space is not sothing just any creature can master.”

Feng Jun asked seriously, “Where is this Redwood Spirit hiding?”

“The exact location I’m not sure of, but I’ve already set a Spatial Anchor Position,” The Big Boss casually responded, “I estimate it’s not far from the Endless Sea.”

Hearing the words “Spatial Anchor Position,” Feng Jun felt an inexplicable frustration, but since it had co to this, regret was useless, so he decided to speak openly, “I hope you didn’t set a Spatial Anchor Position here, as that would be considered a very unfriendly action.”

“You’re really puzzling,” the Big Boss was annoyed, “I set an anchor there because the Heavenly Demon is a threat to , and I want revenge. To set an anchor in your little world would be foolish, right? Do you think setting an anchor doesn’t consu the soul?”

“Say what you want,” Feng Jun took the Big Boss away and returned to Luohua Manor.

The Big Boss envied this move of his, “This long-distance flash technique of yours is truly extraordinary!”

After thinking for a mont, Feng Jun seriously asked, “You’re certain you can find the place that traps us, right?”

“Of course,” the Big Boss replied proudly, then casually comnted, “I’m curious to know how the battle over there is going.”

Feng Jun glanced at the mark on his hand, feeling that about a third of the stored energy points were gone. After contemplating for a while, he went to the Spirit Gathering Array to replenish the Spirit Stones.

The Big Boss was a bit bored by now, it privately sensed and silently mused, “In such a spiritually deficient plane, Feng Jun actually cares so much, could there be… sothing peculiar?”

But no matter, just for Feng Jun risking himself to bring it out, not hesitating to expose his ability to traverse planes with his body, it definitely wouldn’t intentionally do anything to wrong him.

Moreover, it also noticed Feng Jing’s spatial ability. If not for this girl, it might truly have been torn apart by the Space Power—so her injury was actually for everyone’s sake.

While the Big Boss was quietly pondering, Feng Jun replenished the energy points and once again entered the Mobile Phone Plane.
