Chapter 1916: Chapter 1918: Proactive Assistance

When Gazi spoke, he naturally set the tone, and no one doubted the woman’s sincerity anymore.

The man, however, felt a bit embarrassed. Being called out for lacking sincerity was inevitably awkward. He forced a smile, “My sincerity… Sorry, I’m soone who really lacks a sense of security, but I truly have great sincerity towards your courtyard.”

“Alright, alright,” the manager couldn’t help but step forward to rectify the situation, “It’s one thing to fool , but you dare to fool Master Lu? Are you really trying to offend us for life?”

The man gave an awkward laugh and dared not argue further. The woman, however, stepped forward and gave Gazi a deep bow, “Master, then I won’t have him accompany … Can we disregard him?”

“You shouldn’t have brought him when you ca,” Gazi waved his hand and spoke nonchalantly, “Those without sincere hearts or who have done bad deeds, don’t bring them along… Co back next ti. If you want to burn incense, you can light one stick.”

His stance quickly beca a well-known rule in the courtyard. After that, people visiting the courtyard would generally ask themselves, “Am I sincere enough?”

The man beca an object of curiosity for everyone. Soone specifically ca over to ask, “Brother, is the courtyard’s test real?”

The man could only smile wryly and justify, “Guys, I’m truly born with a lack of security… I don’t even dare to fly.”

Regardless of whether he was telling the truth, everyone could firmly believe one thing—the courtyard could accurately asure the level of sincerity.

Well, it’s not that significant an issue. According to legends, many mystical beings have similar sensing abilities. However, one thing is certain: here, you absolutely cannot pretend sincerity.

It’s not just the Blessing Courtyard that can asure sincerity. Gazi walked out the courtyard planning to deal with the troublemakers, only to find Beauty Lin standing not far away. Seeing him co out, she greeted him with a smile, “Hello, Master Lu.”

“Don’t call master, it gives the creeps,” Gazi waved his hand and asked in a low voice, “Sothing up?”

“You’ve beco your own boss, so it’s appropriate to call you master,” Beauty Lin replied with a smile, looking over everyone present and pointing at a few guys with bleeding thighs, “Need so help?”

Gazi really wasn’t interested in handling such trivial matters—it wasn’t hard to solve, the problem was it was too ti-consuming. However, since Beauty Lin asked, he naturally retorted, “First, tell what you want.”

He knew this woman too well; she never rises early without a benefit. If she wasn’t here for sothing, she would never proactively offer to help.

However, he had to be slightly courteous to her, unlike Feng Jun who was cold and tough—his girlfriend Luo Yuhuan was still operating within Beauty Lin’s system. Even if Chief Lin wasn’t her direct superior, she was still her higher-up.

Beauty Lin also understood this and spoke with a smile, “Well… There’s a ‘Loyal Type’ No. 1 that has a bit of a malfunction.”

Gazi knew that they had renad those electric-powered formations to cover up, classifying them as “Loyal Type” and “Gather-type”—if anyone overheard, they’d probably just think it was “dium” and “Large.”

As for why it was defined as “No. 1”, the intention was obvious.

“Is it just a malfunction?” Gazi gave her a knowing look, and there was obvious helplessness in his tone.

“It’s reportedly just a malfunction,” Beauty Lin answered with a grin, “We’re hoping you could help fix it; can you fix it?”

“Forget it, only the boss can fix it,” Gazi shook his head decisively, answering bluntly, “Even if I could fix it, I would tell you I can’t… You need to understand, the boss hates people who don’t keep promises.”

Beauty Lin sighed softly, “The notice I received said… the malfunction was caused by an electrical overload.”

“You can talk to the boss about this yourself,” Gazi firmly stated, pointing at the people present, “I can handle these guys myself, no need for you to worry.”

“Co on,” Beauty Lin waved her hand. From a distance, two teams of strong young n in black rushed over, quickly controlling those present and escorting them away. The handso young man at the entrance saw this and imdiately turned back into the courtyard, “I’ll register the ID cards!”

Gazi looked at Beauty Lin helplessly, “I say, why do you always have to drag into the ss? I can’t agree to that!”

Beauty Lin shrugged helplessly, “The problem is… I’m afraid to bring this up with him. Can you help pass the ssage at least? If appropriate, maybe put in a good word.”

“Don’t even think about putting in a good word,” Gazi waved his hand, “As for passing the ssage, I’ll only pass it along with no response.”

Before long, Feng Jun was presented with the damaged electric-powered testing array.

He didn’t need to look closely; with a sweep of his Divine Sense, he knew the problem, “Just as I thought, they’re trying to reverse-engineer it… I’m just puzzled. Didn’t they think five testing arrays weren’t enough? Yet they still did this, thinking my warning is a joke?”

Gazi snorted, “They only have the guts to crack test arrays, never seen them dare to crack the Spirit Gathering Array.”

Feng Jun thought for a mont and finally chuckled, “Seems like the appearance of testing arrays in the Blessing Courtyard is indeed quite stimulating.”

He could sense that this Formation had likely been broken for a while, aning Beauty Lin and her group had already started deciphering it long ago. However, they understood too little about Immortal Family thods, inevitably leading to its self-destruction.

After it was destroyed, they didn’t dare to seek out Luohua, until the Xiuzhen Courtyard presented a new Testing Array, and only then did they approach, implying—didn’t you say there were no more last ti? Isn’t this deceptive?

Of course, Feng Jun had no obligation to offer full support, so this implication was sothing they found hard to voice out. In any case, it was just a chance to hint—this was accidentally broken by us, please help repair it.

Before making their request, they casually helped Feng Jun deal with so troubles, as a gesture of goodwill.

To be fair, even Gazi didn’t consider those troubles worth noticing, so Feng Jun naturally paid them even less mind. However, so minor issues did waste energy, so having soone willing to help wasn’t bad.

So Feng Jun sighed helplessly, “Tell them, there won’t be a next ti.”

Gazi was quite surprised, “Brother Jun, you’re actually planning to help them repair?”

“What else could I do?” Feng Jun rolled his eyes, “If we don’t give it a try, will they give up? Honestly, if they didn’t try it privately, I’d have little respect for them!”

Gazi listened sowhat confused, “Then this was all within your expectations, wasn’t it?”

Feng Jun remained silent, and after a long pause, spoke, “Chief Lin’s shalessness really surprised .”

This ti, he didn’t repair it but directly took out a new Formation, retrieving the old Formation Materials.

His judgnt was correct; after Beauty Lin and her group transported the new Formation, they checked it and sighed, “The isotopic mark is gone, and we can’t trace it… This person really has a stockpile.”

“What good is having a stockpile?” soone countered dismissively, “This ti he agreed to the exchange, touching the boundaries of his character profile. Next ti, he might really turn hostile… In the short term, don’t stir up trouble again.”

“Then just don’t make trouble,” the previous speaker answered dismissively, “When dismantling this unit, we must be careful, learn from last ti’s lesson…”

“Don’t even think about it!” said the speaker angrily, “This unit is ours. If you want to dismantle, dismantle soone else’s!”

“What do you an yours!” said the one who wanted to dismantle angrily, “They’re all Guojia’s! There are five units, can’t we dismantle just one?”

“Stop with that nonsense, we only have this one unit!” the other’s voice rose, “Since you said there are more, go find others!”

Soone nearby tried to obstruct, but he resolutely refused to agree, “Last ti, we also said we would be careful, and it ended up like that. Now you want us to sacrifice again, treating us like we were raised by a stepmother?”

Frankly speaking, Feng Jun thought five units weren’t few, but in reality, they really weren’t enough. There are so many departnts and units, how could five units possibly be sufficient? Think of the various branches of the Daoist Sects, and outside of Luohua Manor, the small Daoist Sect itself has five Testing Arrays!

Feng Jun imagined that units could mutually lend to one another, but this wasn’t realistic.

Firstly, who would hold permanent ownership was an issue; secondly, each departnt had its own managent considerations and wouldn’t tolerate outsiders holding their confidential data, causing great chaos!

For example, if a unit discovered a spy, should they imdiately catch them or slowly nurture bigger fish… Can outsiders easily have a say in this? Surely, each unit needs to uphold its plans.

So, this Formation being dismantled once was already quite difficult; a second ti… basically impossible.

Amidst their unresolved argunts, the mbers of the Xiuzhen Courtyard were mainly decided. This ti, the list caused too much wrangling, only to be finalized at this mont.

However, when a list of three hundred and sixty people was reported to Luohua, the process sped up. Basically, they also went through the Testing Array, combined with the Ascension Mirror-modified qualifications Formation, and so comprehensive considerations, and the people were selected.

As for whether there were any connected individuals? Of course, there were. Out of a total of one hundred and twenty spots, was it really a big deal for Luohua Manor to favor a few connected individuals?

In fact, among these one hundred and twenty people, so were only skilled in martial arts but extrely ignorant of Daoist thods. Such people, upon entering the Xiuzhen Courtyard, had little to do besides practicing so martial techniques.

Are the Spirit Fields good? Of course, they are, but without even Spirit Plant seeds, what could be planted in the Spirit Fields?

Many people’s Spirit Plant seeds were brought out from the Danxia Heaven Secret Realm, don’t laugh at their poverty; there were even more impoverished ones, such as a young Taoist from Siming Mountain who only brought seven or eight ginseng plants, the oldest being just over thirty years old.

Don’t laugh, it wasn’t easy. Bringing in over thirty-year-old wild ginseng alive was already very laborious; just the soil-covered ginseng weighed nearly a ton!

Yet, this item placed outside would absolutely cause a scramble, but appearing in a “Xiuzhen Courtyard” where Daoist elite gathered, it would only invoke a sense of sadness.
