The two men couldn’t be bothered with Chi Yan’s clamor and remained silent.
The uneasiness in Chi Yan’s heart expanded like a ripple.

Thinking of the kidnapping scenes in the movies, Chi Yan struggled even harder. “Are you two deaf or mute?! Let me go! Do you want money? I can give you a lot of money! Let me go first!”

As soon as Chi Yan finished speaking, the man sitting opposite her raised his hand and slapped her face.

Chi Jiao changed her clothes and rushed downstairs.
Chi Mingwei was sitting on the sofa reading a newspaper. When he saw her rushing out, he couldn’t help but ask, “Jiaojiao, where are you going?”
“I’m going out to play.” Chi Jiao didn’t even turn her head. She was like a bird that had just left its cage. Before she was even done speaking, she had already dashed out of the house.
Chi Mingwei sat on the sofa stunned for two to three seconds. Then, he stood up decisively and walked towards the door.
When Chi Jiao walked out of the house, she saw Quan Jue waiting under the big tree opposite their place.
The young man was wearing a white sweater and black pants, paired with a long black coat. It accentuated his perfect height.
Chi Jiao wore a white woolen sweater, a short black skirt, knee-length black socks, and a pair of black sheepskin leather shoes. Side by side, they looked like they were wearing a couple’s outfit.
Her slightly curly long hair was loose, and there were delicate cherry hair clips at her temples. The girl exuded a sweet aura from head to toe.
Quan Jue’s gaze was fixed on Chi Jiao as she ran towards him. “Why are you running so fast?”
“How long have you been waiting here?” Chi Jiao asked.
If she hadn’t opened her window and saw Quan Jue waiting outside, she wouldn’t have known that he was already here.
“Not long,” Quan Jue replied.
“Really?” Chi Jiao was a little suspicious.
“Two hours,” Quan Jue whispered.
Chi Jiao gasped.
On such a cold day?
Her maiden heart instantly felt a little sweet but also a little heartache.
“You came so early. Why didn’t you call me to e out?” Chi Jiao asked with a frown.
Quan Jue placed a finger on her forehead. “You were sleeping two hours ago.”
He woke up early and had nothing to do, so he came earlier to wait for her.
Chi Jiao puffed up her cheeks. “If you call me, won’t I wake up?”
“There’s no need.” Quan Jue pinched her cheeks, not wanting to dwell on this issue. “First Miss, we should go now.”
When Chi Mingwei came out of the villa’s courtyard, he saw Quan Jue and Chi Jiao standing intimately together. He instantly felt like he had suffered a huge blow.
His daughter left in a hurry and didn’t want to say chat with her old father, all because of Quan Jue?!
