The temperature in the air suddenly surged.
Xia Yangyang and Gu Qichen locked eyes.
So close that Xia Yangyang could even see her own reflection in Gu Qichen’s eyes.
Xia Yangyang felt distinctly his body beginning to burn.
With their bodies pressed together, through the thin barrier, Xia Yangyang could feel Gu Qichen’s heartbeat.
Like her own, it hamred away, much faster than usual.
Xia Yangyang’s face instantly turned as red as a ripe peach.
Xia Yangyang felt her body stiffen as if she was under a spell, completely unable to move.
Gu Qichen’s gaze was deep as the ocean, and Xia Yangyang felt like she was drowning in it.
She didn’t know how much ti had passed.
Xia Yangyang felt as if the air in the car had solidified, making it impossible to breathe.
Xia Yangyang took a deep breath and realized that since looking into Gu Qichen’s eyes, she had been holding her breath.
Oxygen filled her lungs, and Xia Yangyang suddenly felt much clearer.
Xia Yangyang quickly propped herself up with her arms to sit up.
But the mont her body began to move away from Gu Qichen, her waist was suddenly grasped by him.
Then, Gu Qichen firmly flipped over, pinning Xia Yangyang beneath him in the next second.
Xia Yangyang’s mind was in a daze, completely unaware of what had happened.
But now the situation seed to have entirely reversed.
She was now in the position Gu Qichen had been in.
And the person pressing down on her now was Gu Qichen.
Xia Yangyang opened her mouth to say sothing but was imdiately silenced by Gu Qichen’s lips.
Sealed with a kiss.
Xia Yangyang’s brain was foggy, as if she couldn’t catch her breath.
For a mont, she even forgot to struggle.
It was a long while before Gu Qichen released Xia Yangyang.
Xia Yangyang’s vision blurred, her mind a mushy ss, still unclear about what had just transpired.
Only the tingling pain of her lips reminded her how passionate that kiss had been.
Xia Yangyang’s thoughts were gradually pulled back to reality.
Xia Yangyang found it extrely odd.
This wasn’t the first ti Gu Qichen had kissed her.
The previous tis, they were forceful, and even if Xia Yangyang wasn’t fully conscious, she had always pushed him away in the end.
But not today.
Xia Yangyang completely forgot to do so.
What’s more important, during Gu Qichen’s kiss, she felt no repulsion at all, only a sensation as if electricity was flowing through her, like she was on a roller coaster, her emotions undulating wildly.
The feeling was subtle; even when Gu Qichen’s lips left hers, Xia Yangyang unexpectedly felt a sense of emptiness.
Xia Yangyang was frightened by her own true feelings.
What on earth was happening to her?
She did not push Gu Qichen away, even craved more.
Could it be that she was a fickle woman?
Even though her heart was supposed to have room for only Lu Haotian?
Thinking of Lu Haotian, Xia Yangyang felt a pang of guilt.
Yet what made Xia Yangyang even more guilt-ridden was that she had never felt this way with Lu Haotian.
All this ti, Xia Yangyang was accustod to everything about Lu Haotian, close as if he were her own brother.
But Xia Yangyang had never felt this desire for physical intimacy.
Even when Lu Haotian wanted to kiss her, she was very resistant.
So why did she feel this inexplicable emotion towards another person, even soone who could be considered a stranger, in a sense?
Xia Yangyang felt extrely ashad!
"Gu Qichen! Get up!" Xia Yangyang exclaid with a flushed face.
