The young nurse’s words echoed throughout the entire ward. Yan Xinxin was montarily stunned, and by the ti she regained her senses, Mo Chuxi had already walked up to her side, embracing her shoulders.
Yan Xinxin truly felt her legs go weak; without Mo Chuxi, she might have collapsed.
"Explain clearly, what do you an by ’missing’?"
Mo Qingning pressed further, his face full of panic.
"Wasn’t my nephew supposed to be in the incubator? How could he be missing!"
"Yes! He was supposed to be in the incubator!"
The young nurse hurriedly replied, too afraid to et Mo Chuxi’s eyes at that mont.
Too intimidating! Too cold!
"But, but when I went to the nursery just now, I discovered that the incubator belonging to the second young master was empty! The first young master, however, was sleeping in the neighboring incubator!"
The young nurse spoke, tears falling as she beca increasingly anxious.
"I’ve already asked my colleagues to help search, but we’ve looked everywhere and can’t find him!"
Upon hearing this, the veins on Mo Chuxi’s forehead had bulged out.
Just as he was about to erupt in anger, Yan Xinxin grabbed his hand.
He lowered his gaze and saw the anxiety and worry in her eyes, alongside a calmness.
"Chuxi, the most important thing now is to find the baby."
She advised gently.
Mo Chuxi’s thin lips pressed together slightly, his cold eyes glaring at the nurse who was wiping her tears.
"I don’t have ti to hold you accountable right now. You better pray my son returns safely!"
He warned in a suppressed, cold voice.
The young nurse retreated to the doorway, trembling in fear.
Mo Chuxi, holding Yan Xinxin’s shoulders, led a group of people to the nursery. The eldest child was still quietly sleeping, but the incubator beside him was already empty.
With their son missing, only Mo Chuxi could truly empathize with Yan Xinxin’s tension and distress.
Yet at this mont, she had to forcefully suppress the pain of potential loss, pretending to be calm and composed as they searched for the child together. Even though Mo Chuxi had urged her to rest, how could she possibly return peacefully to sleep?
Upon learning what happened, the hospital director also rushed over.
After confirming that no doctor had taken the child for a checkup, it beca evident that the child had been taken away by soone.
When they went to retrieve the surveillance footage, they discovered that the corridor caras had been broken for days, rendering them unable to see the nursery’s condition!
Mo Chuxi was furious.
"Such a large hospital, yet not a single guard, and all those surveillance caras are just for show? Hmm? You are the director, correct? Tell , where exactly is my son now!"
Hearing Mo Chuxi’s angry questioning, the director and the nearby doctors and nurses all shivered in fright.
"If my son cannot be found, then forget about running this hospital any longer!"
"Young Master Mo, rest assured, we will mobilize everyone to find the second young master. We will definitely bring him back!"
The director wiped the cold sweat from his brow, diligently assuring.
The head nurse nearby was trembling.
"Are you the head nurse who was too lazy, eating snacks, conveniently leaving doors unlocked? How can soone so irresponsible be a head nurse?"
"Young Master Mo! I realize my mistake!"
The female head nurse was so frightened that she imdiately knelt in front of Mo Chuxi, her face pale.
"Young Master Mo, I promise! I will find the second young master even if it costs my life! The second young master was born prematurely and has inherited a heart condition. If he catches a chill outside and sothing happens, I can’t make ands with my life! So, Young Master Mo, I will definitely..."
"You... what did you say?"
Yan Xinxin was taken aback by her words, and asked in amazent.
"My son inherited my heart condition?"
