The uncontrollable sound of retching drew everyone’s gaze toward her.
"Xinxin, what’s wrong?"
Yan Chenxi leaned forward with concern and asked.
Mo Chuxi’s brows furrowed as well.
"Are you feeling unwell?"
Yan Xinxin slowly released her small hand, her expression blank and her face stiff.
"Yan Xinxin, are you... pregnant?"
The quiet atmosphere of the restaurant was shattered by Lin Yuan’ai’s question.
Yan Xinxin froze in shock.
It had been more than half a month since that unexpected night with Mo Chuxi. During those days, she had been dazed, barely rembering to take the post-incident dication.

Yan Xinxin denied it, but her tone lacked conviction.

Mo Qifeng said with a serious expression, then added.
"Since Lady Yan has already given our Mo family an heir, I won’t oppose your relationship with Chuxi. But being the Mo family’s daughter-in-law won’t be an easy role for you—be ntally prepared."
When he finished speaking, Yan Xinxin was stunned. How could she have imagined that Mo Chuxi’s father would actually approve of their relationship?

His gaze shifted subtly away, and as the car turned, it slowly ca to a stop.
"Xinxin, where are we?"
Yan Chenxi looked out of the car window, his face full of innocent wonder.
Yan Xinxin raised her eyes upon hearing the question and saw Mo Chuxi seemingly preparing to step out.
"Mo Chuxi, where are you going?"
"Wait for in the car,"
he instructed, and decisively got out.
Yan Xinxin lifted her starry eyes and watched his tall figure enter a pharmacy. Two or three minutes later, he returned with a bag in hand.
Intuition—a woman’s sixth sense told Yan Xinxin that the item he’d purchased was for her.
Sure enough, as soon as they got back to the apartnt, Mo Chuxi took out sothing from the bag, his dark, penetrating gaze locking onto hers.
"Test it."

"Go test it first."

But as soon as she tried to walk away, her wrist was grabbed by Mo Chuxi. His sculpted features were sharp, yet his gaze was weighty and intense.
"If you won’t test, I’ll help you."

His deep eyes fixed on her, leaving her unable to argue further.
Yan Xinxin reached out and took the pregnancy test from him, her emotions swirling as she walked into the bathroom.
