Yan Xinxin couldn’t control the overwhelming nausea. As soon as she spoke, her face turned pale with tension.

Yan Xinxin’s ears burned red as the sunlight streaming in made her feel even hotter all over.
Mo Chuxi, however, remained calm, cradling her as his distinct fingers traced her smooth cheek before gripping her chin.

Yan Xinxin asked in confusion, though her heart raced with guilt.

Ah Ding rushed inside, oblivious to his boss’s foul mood. Smiling broadly, he enthusiastically handed over a tablet.
"Young Master Mo, this is the footage I retrieved from the hotel—the follow-up to the case you tasked with regarding Yan Xinxin’s ’disappearance’ at her classmate’s birthday party five years ago!"
