Almost without any forethought, Yan Xinxin blurted out the words uncontrollably.
In that instant, the air around them seed to freeze.
Mo Chuxi furrowed his brows deeply, looking sowhat puzzled at the petite woman standing before him whose eyes brimd with a mist of unshed tears.
"Yan Xinxin, what are you talking about? What do you an by ’substitute’?"
Upon hearing Mo Chuxi’s confused question, Yan Xinxin curved her lips into a sarcastic smile.
"Mo Chuxi, must you be so cruel? Fine, I’ll tell you — it’s Mu Qianyuan, the Mu Qianyuan you’ve been yearning for over a decade!"
Hearing Yan Xinxin’s response, clarity washed over Mo Chuxi in an instant.
"Yan Xinxin, who told you I see you as Mu Qianyuan’s substitute? You two are completely different people."

"You were awake all along?"

Yan Xinxin sniffed, trying hard to suppress the inexplicable wave of emotion that had surged within her, compelling her to cry.
"Xi, from now on, it’s just Xinxin. There’s no Daddy Chuxi. He will never be your father."
"Xinxin, don’t cry."
Yan Chenxi bowed his head and hugged her tightly.
"I’ll always stay by Xinxin’s side."
Hearing her son’s words, Yan Xinxin was overwheld with sorrow.

Lin Yuan’ai stepped out of the doorway and saw Mo Chuxi standing in place, staring at Yan Xinxin’s departing figure. Her anger only flared stronger.
"Chuxi, did you hear that? This Yan Xinxin is clearly not a proper woman..."

Lin Yuan’ai was montarily stunned, frozen by Mo Chuxi’s sudden shout.
When she raised her head, she saw his face, icy cold beyond compare.

Mo Chuxi’s voice was frigid, like shards of ice.

"Xinxin, it’s Daddy Chuxi’s car!"
Yan Chenxi shouted.
Upon hearing this, Yan Xinxin imdiately bent down, once again picking her son up into her arms.
Seeing Yan Xinxin deliberately trying to evade him, Mo Chuxi’s gaze darkened, and he stepped down hard on the accelerator!
