Yan Xinxin never thought she would care so much about what a man said.
Yet at this mont, she felt an oppressive heaviness in her heart like a stone sinking.

Mo Chuxi hung up the phone in extre displeasure. As he turned around, he saw Yan Xinxin standing behind him, looking utterly at a loss.
He was slightly taken aback.
"Why are you standing here?"
Yan Xinxin snapped back to reality upon hearing him, and upon eting his mysterious, deep eyes, she shook her head in a daze.
"It’s nothing." She said, turning around.
"Stop right there." He ordered.
Yan Xinxin stopped in her tracks reflexively.
Mo Chuxi strode forward leisurely to stand in front of her, his long eyes scrutinizing Yan Xinxin’s sowhat pale face.
"Did you hear everything?"
"More or less."
Yan Xinxin replied casually, sounding indifferent, but the sadness she tried hard to hide on her little face was so obvious to Mo Chuxi.
As he approached her, she backed away evasively.
Mo Chuxi paused for two seconds, then continued forward.
And so, for every step she retreated, he advanced, until Yan Xinxin was forced back against the wall, with Mo Chuxi’s arms trapping her on both sides.
His presence enveloped her imdiately.
"Do you feel uncomfortable with what I just said?"
He asked bluntly.
Yan Xinxin looked up, puzzled.
This man, does he really have no empathy at all? After saying such things, he can still calmly repeat them to her?
"Answer , do you?"
"So what if I do? And so what if I don’t? Do you even care?"
Yan Xinxin retorted, feeling a coldness in her chest.
"Young Master Mo can have any woman he wants with just a glance, after all, I’m already prepared to be kicked to the curb by you."
Listening to her spiteful words, Mo Chuxi’s mood surprisingly improved.
"Yan Xinxin, so you understand that well?"
He teased, reaching to pinch her chin, his deep eyes catching her angry ones.
"Then guess, when will I kick you out? After you give birth to my daughter, or when I’m tired of playing with you?"
"You..."
"Hmm?"
Watching Mo Chuxi’s leisurely smile, Yan Xinxin clenched her fists, feeling like an idiot.
She actually fantasized that she could give the baby in her belly a complete family, but now it seed completely impossible!
This manipulative man was beyond her reach.
"Cursing in your heart?"

"Yan Xinxin, how about we make a bet?"
He brought his handso face close to hers, his breath mingling with hers.
"I don’t want to make any bet with you!"

Yan Xinxin lifted her defiant little face, her eyes heavy with resolve.
"So please, Young Master Mo, have rcy, don’t play with , okay?"
As she spoke, she raised her hands to try and push away his encroaching arms, but the man was like a solid wall, not budging an inch.
"Mo Chuxi!" Yan Xinxin was exasperated.
"I’ve heard that pregnant won are especially prone to being irritable."
He spoke leisurely.
"It seems that unless I show you this video, you will continue to let your imagination run wild."
"What do you an? Why ntion that video again from last ti..."

With that, Mo Chuxi took out his phone to play the video Xiao Yiran just sent over.
