Mo Chuxi pressed the pause button, and the fra froze on Yan Xinxin’s disheveled back as she left.

He took long strides and walked closer, with each step towards Yan Xinxin making his heart beat unnaturally.
The last ray of the afternoon sun quietly spread across her sleeping face.
The serene sleeping face and gentle features reflected in Mo Chuxi’s deep eyes, startling his heart, as if a lightning bolt struck the deeply sleeping images in his mory.
Almost without warning, he heard the ethereal sound of a girl struggling and pleading in his ear.

Originally thinking it was a sound in his mind, unexpectedly he genuinely heard Yan Xinxin’s panicked cries.

Mo Chuxi called out.
Yan Xinxin paused and turned, seeing Mo Chuxi’s solemn handso face; such an expression was indeed rare for him.
