Yan Xinxin took the elevator to the eighteenth floor. The receptionist, Niki, had already left for the day.
She hadn't forgotten the location of Mo Chuxi's office. The glass door was open, and before Yan Xinxin could approach, she heard her son's voice coming from inside the office.
"Xi, little Chenxi."
Yan Xinxin walked to the door and smiled as she greeted the two little ones.
"Xinxin, you're back!"
Yan Chenxi stretched out his long legs and ran towards Yan Xinxin, with little Chenxi trailing behind him.
Yan Xinxin took her son's hand, ready to head inside, but as she raised her eyes, she caught sight of Mo Chuxi standing by the floor-to-ceiling window, talking on the phone.
When his deep gaze t hers, Yan Xinxin seed to understand sothing and motioned for the two little ones to continue playing to the side.
Mo Chuxi quickly finished his phone call and lifted his gaze to look at Yan Xinxin, who was standing idly.
"Co here."
He called her. Yan Xinxin, feeling a bit confused, nodded slightly and obediently walked over.
"President Mo, is sothing wrong?"
"Yan Xinxin, do you keep your word?"
"Huh?"
Yan Xinxin furrowed her brows in confusion. Mo Chuxi pressed his thin lips together, his slender fingers skimming the edge of the transparent desk as his tall figure closed the distance between them.
At 1.88 ters tall, Yan Xinxin had to look up to et his gaze.
But whenever she looked into his eyes, Yan Xinxin felt an overwhelming pressure, her heartbeat going awry.
"President Mo?"
She started to panic a little, intending to step back, but before she could, Mo Chuxi reached out and grabbed her by the waist, his presence enveloping her.

"Yan Xinxin, don't forget you said you'd thank ."

"I'm a bit hungry. Go to the pantry next door and make sothing for . Tonight's dinner will be settled here."

"Shh! Xi and Chenxi are asleep."
She softly reminded him, blinking in mild confusion.
"Is sothing wrong? Are we leaving now?"

"Okay."
Yan Xinxin nodded and walked toward Mo Chuxi, unsure whether it was her imagination, but his gaze at this mont seed so gentle, almost like...
"Ah..." Yan Xinxin was still lost in thought when suddenly, Mo Chuxi reached out and pulled her forcefully into his arms!
Startled, she looked up, about to ask what was going on, but before she could speak, her mouth was firmly sealed by Mo Chuxi's unexpected, intense kiss!
