The morning light filtered through the window, landing on Yan Xinxin's delicate face. Her long, curled eyelashes trembled slightly before she slowly opened her eyes.

But as soon as her eyes opened, Yan Xinxin froze!

A serene, flawless sleeping face was magnified in her view!

Her expression turned as white as snow in an instant.

Yan Xinxin could hardly believe it—an event from five years ago was repeating itself!

This was absolutely unforgivable!

Yan Xinxin felt overwheld, scrambling to get up in a panic.

"Awake?"

The man's magnetic voice, smooth like aged wine, suddenly swept past her ear.

Yan Xinxin's frantic movents to dress ca to an abrupt halt. She lifted her head, and her startled gaze collided with a pair of deep, night-like eyes.

"Bang bang bang!"

Suddenly, a series of knocks ca from the door.

There seed to be many people outside—why was this happening?

Yan Xinxin froze in fear, her nerves stretched taut.

Mo Chuxi raised his eyes indifferently, glancing at the pale-faced Jian Yiyi.

With straight brows, a fine nose, lips like red petals, and pearly white teeth—the exceptionally fair-skinned girl stared at him, her round, cat-like eyes full of guarded suspicion. No matter how he looked at her, Mo Chuxi felt Yan Xinxin seed like she had only just co of age.

And these eyes—could it be...?

However, when Mo Chuxi noticed what Yan Xinxin was wearing, his brows furrowed tightly.

"Are you a student at Ancheng University?"

"..."

Yan Xinxin's heartbeat stuttered, and her beautiful eyes widened in shock as she stared at Mo Chuxi. Her palms instantly turned icy cold.

He actually knew she was a student at Ancheng University!

It was over!

Mo Chuxi raised his narrow, phoenix-like eyes and scrutinized Yan Xinxin's panicked expression from above.

"If you dare walk out that door now, don't even think about surviving in Ancheng, let alone graduating."

"..."

Was he... threatening her?

Yan Xinxin clenched her fists, furious but unable to retaliate.

For reasons she couldn't explain, being in the presence of this man filled her with a sense of danger—a feeling she couldn't ignore. His powerful aura was daunting.

This inexplicable sensation told Yan Xinxin this was a man she couldn't afford to provoke. Her life had already been a difficult path; she didn't want to make it any worse for herself.

There were still sounds of people moving about outside, adding to Yan Xinxin's unease. She found it strange and tried calling Yan Zhirou, but there was no answer. She called her ho, yet nobody picked up either.

At this hour, Xi should already be in kindergarten. I didn't co ho last night—would he be worried about ?

Yan Xinxin's thoughts were in chaos, and the oppressive atmosphere in the room weighed heavily upon her.

Mo Chuxi finished freshening up and walked out from the bathroom, dressed impeccably. His cold, noble deanor and strikingly deep features exuded an irresistible charm that made won unable to look away.

Yan Xinxin stared wide-eyed at him, her luminous gaze fixed on his face. As she continued to study him, she suddenly found his features sowhat resembling her son's. Was it just a coincidence?

Still in the midst of speculation, Yan Xinxin watched as Mo Chuxi took another phone call. His voice was remarkably pleasant—low, magnetic, and seductive, yet clear and pure. He seed indifferent, but his tone brooked no argunt.

"Co with ."

"You..."

Hearing the underlying aning in Mo Chuxi's words, Yan Xinxin flushed, her small face turning red in anger.

"Why would I stay with you? I was going to leave in the first place, it's you who refuses to let go!"

Yan Xinxin shouted, clearly enraged. Flustered, she pulled out the only remaining banknote from her skirt pocket and threw it at Mo Chuxi.

"Last night stays in the past—let's never et again!"

Mo Chuxi snapped out of his thoughts as the hundred-yuan note Yan Xinxin tossed hit him. Montarily caught off guard, he watched helplessly as Yan Xinxin stord out the door.

He looked down at the bill lying at his feet. His striking features seed instantly covered in frost and ice.

What was the aning of this?

A hundred yuan to "buy" him...?

"Young Master Mo!"

Soon after, Mo Chuxi's assistant, Ah Ding, rushed in. The mont he entered, he felt the suffocating tension in the air.

"Young Master Mo, the dia reporters have all left; it's safe now."

"That girl from last night." Mo Chuxi's thin lips opened slightly, "Did they send her?"

"Definitely!"

Ah Ding nodded solemnly.

"Last night's banquet was a complete trap. They got hold of your schedule, Young Master Mo, and intentionally found a female student from Ancheng University. Then they tipped off the dia—all in an attempt to ruin your reputation!"

Hearing this, Mo Chuxi let out a cold laugh, apparently unfazed. His piercing gaze swept toward the disheveled bed, his lips curling faintly.

"I want a full profile of that girl."

...

After leaving the hotel, Yan Xinxin ran straight ho.

Along the way, she still couldn't believe she had done sothing so absurd again.

The nightmare from five years ago hadn't allowed her to recover completely, and now, five years later, she was repeating the sa mistake.

But she couldn't figure out why there was a man in the room she slept in.

Yan Xinxin rushed into the house, only to find Yan Zhirou lounging on the sofa, chatting smugly with soone.

"I didn't expect Yan Xinxin to have so worth after all—one night earned ten thousand yuan!"

Standing at the entryway, Yan Xinxin froze before her body began trembling in fury.

Yan Zhirou's words were clear enough—no wonder she had gotten so drunk last night, no wonder she had inexplicably ended up with a man.

Yet she never could have imagined this was all orchestrated by her own sister!

Yan Zhirou hung up the phone before noticing the strange tension behind her. Turning her head, she saw Yan Xinxin walking toward her and imdiately beca flustered.

"Sis, you... you're back..."

"Smack!"

"Ah!"

Yan Xinxin delivered a harsh slap, causing Yan Zhirou to cry out in pain and glare with fury.

"Yan Xinxin, how dare you hit !"

"I'll do more than hit you—I'll beat you to death!"

"You wouldn't dare! If you touch again, I'll expose the fact that you have an illegitimate child and let's see if you can still remain at Ancheng University!"

"Yan Zhirou, do you have any sense of humanity left? Did a dog eat your conscience?"

Yan Xinxin felt her chest tighten painfully. She couldn't believe the things coming out of her own sister's mouth.

"Humanity? Can you sell humanity for money?"

Yan Zhirou sneered disdainfully, gleefully waving the ten-thousand-yuan check in front of Yan Xinxin's face.

"See this? A full ten thousand yuan! Yan Xinxin, you should be grateful soone's willing to..."

"Rip!" The check was torn in half instantly.

"Damn it!"

Yan Xinxin unexpectedly grabbed the check and ripped it apart in one swift motion. Yan Zhirou's shrill scream rang out in fury, her anger rising to a boiling point.

"Yan Xinxin, you actually tore my check! You have a bastard child and you're still pretending to be a chaste woman!"
