"What is this?"
Mo Qingning curiously reached out to pick up the file pouch, her face quickly betraying shock.
"A paternity test report?"
Mo Chuxi nodded faintly and then addressed the maid beside him.
"Little Zi, take Xi and Chun to the living room to play for a while."
"Chun?"
Little Zi blinked in confusion, montarily unable to comprehend.
"From now on, there’s no Xixi—only Chun. Xixi’s new na will be Mo Zhichun."
"Understood."
Once Little Zi grasped the situation, she nodded respectfully and proceeded to take Xi and Chenxi away.
Although still sowhat puzzled, as a maid, she didn’t have the right to ask further questions.
Lin Yuan’ai and Mo Qifeng appeared equally baffled.
"Chuxi, do you really plan to snatch Xixi away from the Mu family? This doesn’t seem very appropriate."
"Your mother has a point—it’s a child the Mu family raised from a young age."
Mo Qifeng expressed his concerns, riddled with doubts.
"On the day of the wedding, what exactly did Mu Shaoqian say to you? Why did Xinxin get so worked up that she passed out?"
Upon hearing this, Sister Lin arrogantly chid in with her opinion.
"I heard from soone that Young Master Mu and Lady Yan were romantically involved in the past, so..."
"Lin Yufeng!"
Mo Chuxi snapped coldly, his handso face veiled with fury.
"You are nothing more than a maid by my mother’s side. Don’t overestimate your own importance—this is not the place for your comnts!"
His icy warning resounded forcefully.
The young maids who usually suffered under Sister Lin’s oppressive behavior felt deeply vindicated.
"Lady Yan? Get this straight—Xinxin is now the mistress of this household. If you don’t want to be kicked out, I suggest you show so proper respect."
"I’m sorry, Young Master! Sister Lin knows she was wrong!"
Sister Lin trembled as she bowed in apology.
Mo Chuxi cast a cold, hateful glance her way.
"I don’t want to see your face right now. Get out."
"Madam, I..."
"I said get out! Didn’t you understand ?"
"Yes! Yes!"
Thinking she had so standing, Sister Lin attempted to appeal to Lin Yuan’ai, but Mo Chuxi’s frosty tone left her no choice but to flee, tail between her legs.
Lin Yuan’ai dared not utter another word, as even she felt that Sister Lin had grown too arrogant with her favors.
"Oh my heavens! Mom, look! The results from these four paternity tests are incredible!"
Mo Qingning exclaid, handing over the stack of docunts.
"Turns out that beautiful young girl called Xixi is actually Big Brother and Saozi’s biological child too!"
"What!"
Lin Yuan’ai jumped up at the revelation, snatching the paternity tests from Mo Qingning in haste, while Mo Qifeng eagerly leaned over for a better look.
The couple ticulously flipped through the docunts two or three tis.
The reports ca from a highly authoritative paternity testing institution in Country M, known for their impeccable reputation and consistently accurate results.
Lin Yuan’ai was visibly stunned.
"Chuxi, what on earth is going on here? How is Xixi your and Yan Xinxin’s daughter?"
"Big Brother, you’re really sothing! Two in one shot!"
"Qingning, you’re still young—don’t speak so recklessly!"
"I’m not young! I’m already twenty—an adult!"
Mo Qingning lifted her delicate face in protest.
"I can see it clearly—the reports explicitly state that Xi and Xixi, no, Chun, are monozygotic twins!"
"It really... it really is true!"
Despite her confusion, Lin Yuan’ai was overwheld with emotion and joy as she absorbed the results.
"Chuxi, Mother truly doesn’t understand. Please explain—how did this happen? If Xixi is your and Yan Xinxin’s daughter, why was she abandoned at an orphanage and then adopted by the Mu family?"
Her questions ca furiously; shortly afterward, she added:
"I had soone investigate. Over the past five years, you haven’t had any interactions with Yan Xinxin. She’s been studying and working part-ti on her own. There’s no connection between the two of you—so how could you possibly have children together?"
"Because five years ago, I forced myself on her against her will."
