Mo Chuxi's sharp gaze made Yan Xinxin realize the seriousness of the situation.

Just exiting the secure passageway, Yan Zhirou imdiately saw Yan Xinxin chasing after a handso figure.
There was no need to guess; she was certain the man was Mo Chuxi.

Yan Zhirou cursed softly through clenched teeth, her eyes locked on Yan Xinxin and Mo Chuxi.
"President Mo."
Yan Xinxin caught up to Mo Chuxi, stopping in front of him.
"Listen to . Let explain."
"Explain what?"
Mo Chuxi's cold voice pierced the air as he lowered his long, almond-shaped eyes, staring at the woman whose gaze was filled with anxiety.
"Explain why, when you were asleep, there was another man by your side?"

Faced with the man's impatient and aloof expression, Yan Xinxin parted her lips slightly, montarily speechless, feeling as though a bucket of cold water had been poured over her.

Yan Xinxin lifted her clear, watery eyes, filled with unease, and looked at the man's sharply defined yet cold profile.

He truly gave her no chance to explain. As soon as she let go of him, he walked away.
Yan Xinxin stood frozen in place, staring with helpless eyes at Mo Chuxi's dashing and nonchalant figure as her gaze slowly dropped.
She hadn't planned on fainting and delaying her return today, nor had she intended to use him to quarrel with Yan Zhirou.
