Yan Xinxin clenched the sketches and USB in her hand, listening to Jian Ziqing’s smug proclamation.
She didn’t believe it.
She refused to believe Mo Chuxi was that kind of person.
"Back at S University, Chuxi and I were the model couple that everyone on campus knew about. If you don’t believe , you can ask around."
Jian Ziqing added, her gaze growing loftier as she watched the subtle change in Yan Xinxin’s expression.
"Chuxi used to treat very well. On rainy days, he’d bring an umbrella, worried I hadn’t brought one."
She reminisced, a sickly-sweet color flooding her face.
"He once said my eyes reminded him of soone he had lost. Chuxi was deeply attached to that person. Hmm, I wonder, Mrs. Mo, do you know about this?"

Yan Xinxin retorted coolly before turning to leave.
Jian Ziqing hurriedly followed after her.
"Yan Xinxin, stop deceiving yourself. Chuxi married you for his reasons, but I can assure you, those reasons don’t include loving you!"
She said confidently, her lips curling into a sinister smile.
"Why don’t I enlighten you on sothing?"
Speeding up, she intercepted Yan Xinxin’s path.
"There’s a girl Chuxi deeply adores. To him, that girl is more precious than anything else in the world. I’ve never t her, but I know her na—she’s called Yuan."

Hearing this, Yan Xinxin suddenly found it both amusing and ridiculous.
"So, what you’re saying is, your eyes resemble this girl nad Yuan, and that’s why my husband treated you specially back then?"

Jian Ziqing lifted her chin proudly, beaming.
"Not everyone gets to be this unique kind of stand-in."

Yan Xinxin quipped, her smile lingering as her fingers lightly brushed over her face.
Did Mo Chuxi have vision problems?

After delivering her words, Yan Xinxin turned decisively on her heel, graceful and unperturbed.
Jian Ziqing was left steaming, her faux posh deanor completely shattered.

Jian Ziqing furiously glared at Yan Xinxin’s retreating figure, stomping off in anger, her mood utterly ruined for sipping coffee and posting on social dia.

She kept telling herself not to believe it, but for so reason, she couldn’t help being dragged into the petty jealousy of the other woman’s words.

Xiao Yize’s gentle voice called out from the side.
Yan Xinxin snapped back to herself.
"Master."
Quickly collecting her emotions, she walked toward Xiao Yize.
Xiao Yize’s warm smile softened as he spoke.
"Congratulations on passing the preliminary round. Whether the company takes ho an award this ti depends on you."
"Master, are you suggesting..."
"Tong Lili made changes to the materials before submission, thinking that using higher-end materials would elevate the design’s status. But she completely overlooked the cost requirents, so she was directly disqualified."
Xiao Yize smiled faintly.
"Actually, raising the quality doesn’t always an spending more money. I believe the value lies in the work itself."
Yan Xinxin nodded in agreent and handed her sketches to Xiao Yize.
He examined them carefully, his gaze brimming with admiration.
After finishing, he looked up, only to notice Yan Xinxin’s distracted expression.
"Xinxin, what’s on your mind?"
