It was as if Yan Xinxin’s words had provoked him.
Mu Shaoqian abruptly yanked open the car door, shoved little Chenxi into the backseat, and slamd the door shut with a swift movent before spinning around sharply.
Without giving Yan Xinxin a chance to react, he suddenly reached out and gripped her neck!
The car window resounded with rapid "bang, bang, bang" sounds, accompanied by Chenxi’s desperate shouting.

His face twisted into a snarl, and his fingers continued to tighten.

Mu Shaoqian growled, like a man possessed, repeatedly emphasizing his point.
"Yan Xinxin, you have no right to speak of my Yuan! None! Our family was fine before your arrival. It’s your presence that’s always sowing discord and unhappiness."
As he spoke, his fingers gripped her neck even tighter.
His bloodshot eyes, like those of a vampire, narrowed dangerously.
"Yan Xinxin, do you believe I won’t strangle you right here and now? If you died, our family would finally be at peace. And that Mo Chuxi—he would be devastated, wouldn’t he? But serves him right—he betrayed my Yuan!"
Mu Shaoqian sneered coldly, the corner of his lips curling in a wicked smirk.
"You will... regret this."
Yan Xinxin neither struggled nor resisted. Her voice was weak as she uttered these five words.
Mu Shaoqian’s cocky smirk froze suddenly.
