"Mrs. Mo, what brings you upstairs at this ti?"
"I missed you."
Yan Xinxin walked in with a playful smile, handing him a report she had in her hand.
"I just got back from the hospital. Here, take a look at the baby."
She smiled as she approached him, sitting naturally on his lap.
Mo Chuxi understood her intentions, smiling as he wrapped his arm around her waist.
"I had an unexpected matter to take care of today and couldn’t go with you for the checkup. I’m really sorry."
"It doesn’t matter. As long as I know you love and care for , that’s enough."
As she spoke, she unfolded the report for him.
"Chuxi, look, our baby."
Pointing at the ultrasound image, her delicate fair face was alight with a joyous smile.
"Fourteen weeks now. Ti flies. The baby is growing steadily and already has a heartbeat!"
