Yan Xinxin was just about to leave when she suddenly heard a familiar voice sounding at the office door.
She quickly turned around, and the first thing she saw was Xu Nuo, who was also looking at her.
She froze briefly but quickly recovered, giving him a polite, faint smile. Xu Nuo returned her smile with a subtle one of his own.
But as she lifted her gaze, she saw a figure dressed in black striding in quickly, along with a delicate and beautiful little face. She instantly reacted.
"You... Selena?"
"Big sister, how did you know my na?!"
Upon hearing Yan Xinxin call out her na, Selena exclaid in surprise.
Yan Xinxin curved her brows and smiled warmly.
"You definitely wouldn’t forget Madam Mo, right?"
"Madam?"
Selena beca even more excited when she heard this.
"Big sister, do you know Madam?"
"Yes."
Yan Xinxin nodded with a smile.
Selena grew even happier, grabbing Yan Xinxin’s hand imdiately.
"Big sister, do you know where Madam is now? How do you know her!"
"Hmm... let’s talk outside, okay?"
Yan Xinxin suggested.
After all, this was the teacher’s office.
Selena bead brightly and nodded repeatedly.

She said this and turned to walk toward Xu Nuo, who was submitting a report.

He didn’t resist. Instead, he openly clasped her hand back.
As Yan Xinxin was still watching them in surprise, Xu Nuo turned around, holding Selena’s hand. Facing Yan Xinxin’s confused gaze, he smiled calmly.
Outside the walls of Ancheng University, three figures strolled forward leisurely.
After listening to each other’s explanations, Yan Xinxin finally understood. However, the smile on Xu Nuo’s face gradually turned mocking.
"So the Madam that Xingtong talks about every day is none other than Mo Chuxi’s grandmother."
He chuckled lightly, his tone laced with disdain.
"She’s also your grandmother."
Yan Xinxin emphasized.
Xu Nuo stopped walking, and Selena halted as well, looking at him with an innocent smile.
"She’s not my grandmother. I have no relationship with the Mo family, nor do I want one."
His words were filled with obvious rejection, and as soon as he said them, he abruptly released Selena’s hand.

Selena blinked her eyes and spoke earnestly.
Looking at those pure, innocent eyes, Xu Nuo let out a faint smile. It appeared light, but it carried a heavy bitterness.
"Then take your ti finding it. I won’t be accompanying you."
With those words, he lowered his gaze and turned away decisively.
"Huh?"
Selena looked on, puzzled, but hesitated not a bit in chasing after him. She grabbed his hand again with a simple smile.
"You said you’d take out to play today!"
She was utterly oblivious to any tension in the air.
The words struck a chord in Xu Nuo’s heart, pricking it like a needle.
But he resolutely shook her small hand off, his handso brows now devoid of the tenderness they had earlier.
"Stop following . We’re not from the sa world."
"Nuo?"
"This is the end for us."
"What do you an, the end?"
"Just don’t follow anymore."
He coldly uttered these words, then turned away as though unaffected. Selena stood in place, confused, her brows knitting as she watched his retreating figure. Without realizing it, her big eyes brimd with tears.
"Nuo, don’t you want Xingtong anymore?"
