Yan Xinxin sighed in relief, took the hydrangeas with one hand, and caressed his cheek with the other, standing on tiptoe to kiss the side of his lips.
"Chuxi, do you know you scared this afternoon?"
Mo Chuxi was startled at her words, then looked at her apologetically.
"I’ve really been feeling a bit ntally unwell lately."
"Really?"
Yan Xinxin frowned with concern as she looked at him.
"Should I accompany you to see a doctor tomorrow?"
"It’s not that serious. I think with more rest, I’ll be fine."
He spoke as he extended his right hand in a gentlemanly gesture toward her.
"Mrs. Mo, would you do the honor of joining for dinner?"
Yan Xinxin held the bouquet, gave a shy smile, and placed her delicate hand in his palm.
