Soon after, a tall and solemn camp gate appeared in front of them.

There were no sentinels on duty at the camp entrance, and though the gate was open, the driver didn't dare to drive straight in and quickly tapped the brakes to stop.
Though Director Guan was familiar with the Lang Mountain Scenic Spot, he had never been to this military camp, and was just about to have the driver open the door to inquire when a young man in a deep blue naval training uniform erged from the guard room.
"Comrade, who are you looking for?"
"We're here to see Han Yu. Is this the Customs dormitory?"
The young man glanced at the car plate and said, "This is not the Customs dormitory; this is a military camp. Are you from Shuzhou?"
Director Guan smiled, "Yes."
"Secretary Han has instructed that the car can drive in, but today there's a visit from a brother unit, so you may have to wait a bit after parking at the office building entrance."
"Alright, thank you."
The business car bypassed a screen with twenty large characters reading "Politically Qualified, Militarily Competent, Fine Style, Strict Discipline, Strong Support," and a two-story office building ca into view.
There were four military vehicles parked in front of the office building, one from the Navy and three from the Army.
Several Army soldiers were busy moving the gifts inside the office building, while an Army captain was outside making phone calls on his mobile, and inside the hall, several Navy field-grade officers could be seen chatting amiably with Army officers.
Vice Director Li, entering a military camp for the first ti, felt a bit nervous.

Han Xiangning had arrived early, and she ca as a reserve officer of the Linghai Reserve Camp, dressed in the Army officer's winter service uniform with the insignia of a Reserve Lieutenant.
She greeted with a smile, raising her arm in salute, "Hello, Director Guan, when did you set off? How did you arrive so early?"
"We set off at six, your uniform looks wonderful, valiant and spirited, I almost didn't recognize you!"
"Really?" Han Xiangning smiled warmly and turned to greet, "Director Guan, everyone, today the Linghai Reserve Camp is here to pay respects to the Rescue Boat Team. Salted Fish is the Big Commander, and he will join Commissar Fang in receiving colleagues from the Linghai Ard Forces Departnt and the Linghai Reserve Camp. Let's first go to the reception room and sit for a while."
"Sure, sorry to trouble you."
