The third session of the first term of the Binjiang City Water Firefighting Association Council was convened on ti in the office on the second floor of the Navy Reserve Rescue Boat Brigade.

The Water Resources Bureau Water Law Enforcent Team has law enforcent vessels, and the Smuggling Cri Investigation Bureau Binjiang Branch is about to be equipped with an anti-smuggling boat. As per the norm, these two units will participate in water firefighting and rescue operations in the future, so today it is necessary to add the heads of the Water Resources Bureau and the Smuggling Cri Investigation Bureau Binjiang Branch, who are in charge of firefighting, as mbers of the Water Firefighting Association.

The leaders in charge of firefighting from the Jingjiang Fire Rescue Brigade, Binjiang Mariti Bureau, Changhang Binjiang Police Station, Binjiang Police Bureau Water Police Branch, Binjiang Ocean and Fishery Bureau, Binjiang Border Control Station, Port Authority, Cosco Shipyard, Linghai Port, Bisha Ferry, Lingda Car Ferry, Binjiang Ship Lock, Yingchuan Port Lock, and Binjiang Petroleum Company were all present.
Even the Changhang Guzhou Police Branch, Zhangjia Port Mariti Departnt, Shuzhou Mariti Bureau, Zhangjia Port Authority, and Shuzhou Port Corporation across the river sent representatives to attend the eting.

In fact, if a major fire were to occur on the river or at one of the docks on either side, it would indeed require mobilizing all available resources. After all, firefighting on water is different from firefighting on land. If a large cargo ship, especially an oil or chemical ship, catches fire, it is difficult for any single entity to handle it alone.

Sister Zhu, on behalf of the Mariti Bureau, expressed the intention to procure thirty tons of foam extinguishing agent in advance. The heads of the Port Authority, Linghai Port, and the Petroleum Company also stated that they would each procure twenty tons after returning for contingency purposes.

According to the blueprints, the anti-smuggling boat under construction is quite advanced, especially in terms of radar and navigation electronic equipnt, but there are nurous deficiencies. For example, the oil and freshwater tanks are not large enough, directly affecting the vessel's range.
Additionally, without a Water Depth Detector, the complex conditions of the Yangtze River Channel and the vast mudflats near the sea make it necessary to walk several kiloters into the sea to see the water at low tide. Without depth detection, the vessel might easily run aground or even capsize during anti-smuggling operations."
Han Yu paused, then continued, "More importantly, the vessel is only equipped with a small caliber machine gun. If it encounters pirates or ard smugglers, the firepower is insufficient. Against suspect ships with no weapons but that violently resist enforcent, the machine gun is useless.
After bringing back the anti-smuggling boat, I will request funding from my superiors to upgrade the vessel. Specifically, I will strive for funding to replace the original machine gun with a large-caliber automatic cannon and install a high-pressure firefighting system, naly a high-pressure water cannon. This will be useful not only for water firefighting but also for water law enforcent and even mariti rights protection."
It's normal for an anti-smuggling boat with deficiencies to be sent to a shipyard for modifications, so Sister Zhu was not surprised.
