Patrolling the river for two days, thirty-one eel fishing boats were inspected, and over two hundred fishing nets were confiscated and cleared.
Although they failed to catch those strong-arm buyers of eel fry on water, the water bandits couldn’t escape the law either.
Dongqi Police Bureau quickly confird the identities of those water bandits based on clues provided by the Water Police Station and the Coast Guard. Ironically, the bandits were busy sneaking ho for a family reunion during Chinese New Year, and were caught red-handed while eating the reunion dinner and watching the Spring Festival Gala. They have since been escorted back to Dacang by the Coast Guard.

The conditions at the Water Rescue Center were subpar; they could only use 001 to take him back to Bailong Port. For now, 001 would not return to Yingchuan Port but would dock beside the Dunship at Yanjiang Police Station.
The master’s wife couldn’t manage on her own, so Old Qian, Zhu Baogen, and Xiao Yu took turns caring for him, and he and his junior sister would visit once every other day in Bailong Port.
With his cassette tapes and recorder, Xu Sanye needed to listen to the Spring Festival Gala songs whenever he was awake, to the point he couldn’t sleep without hearing them.
Those three songs were indeed quite good.

Xu Sanye was completely mute now, just staring at Han Yu.
Han Yu felt a deep sorrow, squeezing his hand gently: "There’s been quite a change at the substation, Director Zhou was transferred, seems like he was moved to the Agricultural Bureau. The new director, surnad Peng, is fifty-one this year and served as Political Commissioner at Changzhou Police Bureau for several years."
Previously, considering Binjiang Port would fall under local managent, Binjiang Port Police Station was likely to be integrated into the Binjiang City Bureau, which is why the superiors assigned Zhou Hong to replace Scholar Yu as the head of the Water Police Team and the chief of the Water Police Station.
Now, although Binjiang Port has been reassigned to local managent, Binjiang Port Police Station hadn’t been rged but instead wholly incorporated into Changhang Navigation Police, and Zhou Hong had already served five years as the chief; hence the City Bureau needed to adjust the leadership team of the Water Police Station.
Han Yu knew his master understood everything clearly and didn’t need any more explanations, and continued, "Political Commissioner Wang remains, while the Political Security Team Leader from the Port District Bureau has been transferred over as the deputy chief. City Bureau leadership ntioned you’re ill and need to rest, so there’s no need for you to continue as a mber of the party committee of the substation."
When a person is "gone", the warmth in the tea fades!
Zhang Mingyuan felt sad hearing this, thinking that the City Bureau leaders could have waited a few more days to excuse Xu Sanye from the Water Police Station’s party mber duties.
Han Yu understood perfectly that his master never cared much about these matters, otherwise, having held the position of Water Police Station party committee mber for so many years, he wouldn’t have barely visited the substation or participated in the party committee etings.

"Trainee teachers usually beco teachers, not policen."
"He said he’s admired policen since childhood."
Looking at his emaciated master, Han Yu added, "He’s a child of an official; his dad used to work in the City Committee and was just transferred to the Developnt Zone Managent Committee. For soone like him, getting into a good unit is extrely easy. If he didn’t like being a policeman, he wouldn’t co to endure such hardships."
