The Fire Elental Soul seems to hear her. With its last ounce of strength, it surged through the water, a tiny streak of red light diving into the Field Frog’s chest. The frog froze, its eyes wide. Suddenly, the water around it began to hiss and steam.

"Look, Lucy! It’s happening!"

Maddy leaned over the water, her wings buzzing in excitent. The frog’s green skin began to darken into a deep, charred black. Glowing orange veins, like flowing lava, spread across its back. Its feet grew long and clawed, and its throat sac pulsed with the rhythm of a coal burning furnace.

The frog didn’t care about gratitude. Its throat sac ballooned to three tis its size, glowing like a furnace.

POOF!

Another fireball shot toward her. Maddy tilted her head just in ti, the blazing orb whistled past her ear and slamd into the cave wall with the force of a grenade.

"Okay! So we’re doing this! Fine! Let’s check the stats of yours then!"

She appraised it.

Maddy went completely still.

"...Four hundred thousand magic?! That’s ridiculously high. I just witnessed the birth of the strongest variant of a wizard type carnivorous amphibian. Not so fire spitting hopper... this one’s a true caster!"

Suddenly, the water behind the Fla Frog started bubbling. Five more Field Frogs spawned from the green mana galaxy at the river’s bottom. They didn’t have fire, but they seed to recognize the Fla Frog as their leader. They leaped into the air, their tongues shooting out like pink harpoons.

"Oops, licking will get you fried frogs."

As their tongue stick to Maddy’s body and wings they instantly got shocked by her Static Discharge. They were totally fried instantly, and the vibration shook their tiny brains so hard they fell back into the river like limp noodles.

"Next ti, maybe I’ll write to my body... DANGER: High Voltage."

The five fried frogs was instantly defeated, and her hellmouth flared at the riverbed when their body is.

The Fla Frog roared... well, it was more of a high pitched, steaming hiss and launched a rapid fire volley of three fireballs. Maddy didn’t dodge this ti. She activated her Instant Mud Armor from the Tremor Toad, coating her front in a thick, protective layer of earth.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The fireballs hit the mud, baking it into hard ceramic but leaving Maddy unhard.

"I won’t let you smoke again!"

This ti, she was angry. Maddy dove into the earth, manifesting her Sword Spider chitin along her head. Moving like a predator through the soil, she "swam" with Rapid Burrowing and Earth Mobility, her Improved Reflexes guiding every twist and turn.

Her montum carried her straight toward the Fla Frog, a perfect mix of shark like speed and bull like force.

"SWORD RUSH!"

Her chitin tipped head slamd into the Frog, piercing its chest with surgical precision. The amphibian thrashed, trying to spit a fireball, but Maddy twisted slightly in the ground, slicing along its throat and puncturing vital organs. Sparks of heat hissed as her reinforced chitin cut through muscle and bone.

"That... that was clean. Didn’t even give it a chance to react."
