Maddy staggered back, her body trembling as the overwhelming surge of power coursed through every fiber of her being. A delighted, almost breathless laugh escaped her lips.
"Hah... hahahaha! Yes! I... I can feel it... it’s like my body just leveled up a thousand tis over!"
anwhile, Arach and Sephiran whispered to each other, their eyes following their mother with quiet amusent.
"So... this is what you ant when you said Mother sotis talks to herself..."
Arach murmured. Sephiran, still wrapped in the warmth of Heaven’s Crib, nodded.
"Yeah... she even points at the air sotis, like she’s... touching sothing."
The two of them giggled, watching their mother act differently, less the unstoppable warrior and more just their quirky, powerful mother.
Maddy flexed, letting parts of her body shift into gleaming mineral as the new traits pulsed through her. She shouted, her voice echoing with exhilaration,
"I AM SHINING!"
Arach rose to his feet, tapping his chin thoughtfully. He could sense the shift in his mother’s power—her magic and might aura had practically doubled.
"The density of your magic and might just... doubled. Mother, you look more unbreakable. What just happened...?"
Sephiran hopped out of his healing crib, fully recovered, eyes sparkling.
"You’re the sparkliest Mother ever! We managed to defeat all the red eyed worms! I whacked a total of five hundred worms! And you, Brother? Maybe five hundred... teeth of the boss worm? HA!"
Arach laughed, shaking his head.
"Hahaha! You really are a rascal, Sephi. I got five hundred and one! Beat you by one worm—ha!"
Sephiran pouted, stomping his little feet and yelling,
"No, you’re not! See that mountain of worm corpses? They’re mine—"
He pointed eagerly, only to realize there was nothing there. Maddy had already devoured them.
"Right... Mother ate them..."
Maddy snapped out of her self celebration and assessed the situation. The area was still swirling with that unnerving purple storm.
"Ha? Why hasn’t the mana distortion ended? There are no more monsters spawning... we cleared all the worms a minute ago..."

Maddy narrowed her eyes, feeling the currents in the air shift.
"Yeah... I can feel it too. The mana’s thinning now."
The violent purple storm began to fade, its chaotic glow dimming little by little. The distorted mana slowly bled back into its natural hue, soft, living green, as the turbulence settled across the area.
But just before the final strands of violet energy vanished, the air twisted once more.
A swirling point of light ford in the sky like a tiny galaxy spinning in place.
"Wha? Another worm? These maggots really don’t know how to give up."
The three of them shifted into stance, weapons and magic ready. Not a trace of exhaustion showed on their faces. Sephiran nudged Arach with a grin.
"Hey, big bro. Whoever kills this worm becos Mother’s favorite son."
For once, Arach didn’t laugh it off. His six eyes narrowed slightly.
"Now that makes want to take this seriously. Fine. First one to kill it... becos Mother’s favorite."
They locked eyes, competitive fire crackling between them.
Maddy stared at her sons, her expression caught between pride and concern.
"These two better not be serious..."
As the two waited for the worm to spawn, the color of the swirling galaxy above them began to change.
Sephiran squinted at it, tightening his grip on his war bat.
"Wait... sothing’s not right."
Maddy’s eyes narrowed as she studied the vortex. For a second, she just stared. Then her expression slowly shifted from confusion... to realization.
"OH. MY. GOD..."
She leaned forward slightly.
"Could it be... a..."
Her eyes widened as the vortex brightened in the area.
"SUPER RARE SPAWN?!"
