My oga whimpers in his sleep and he moves closer to .

I stare down at his face in worry at the way he whines again and tries to hold on to tighter.

His scent has changed slightly, the sweetness of his heat is tainted with bitterness, and I sit up quickly to check on him better.

"Seoha" I call his na and his face twists into a distressed expression, his eyes are still closed and his lips are parted like he is about to scream.

He’s having a bad dream.

"Fuck, baby, wake up" I say roughly, shaking his body and he whimpers loudly, he sounds like a person being hurt in whatever he’s trapped.

"Oga, wake up" I command him in my alpha voice, just loud enough that it forces him out of the nightmare and he opens his eyes.

The oga is panting as he stares up at the ceiling, looking at nothing and breathing in through his mouth.

"Don’t leave ..." he says in a broken whisper, and I hug him to my body.

I will kill his father...I don’t care that he is dead, I will kill everything that makes him live on, I will end his legacy.

I will kill his aunt, kill both of her children, I will send each of them to separate sections of hell and then scatter their guts across the world.

The oga shudders out of his stare and starts to sob, pressing his wet face into my body, and I hiss to control the rage I’m feeling.

Now will be a perfect ti to visit a sleeping family of three, one is already disabled, I’ll stab him and make it quick...

"I’m sorry..." Seoha mutters against my skin, wetting with tears and saliva, and I growl at the apology.

I hate how he lives apologizing and no one ever apologized for hurting him, fuck, I have to change that for him.

"Don’t apologize, you don’t have to" I say to him, saying the words harsher than I an to, the anger I feel is boiling my blood and heating up my chest.

"I get very emotion during my heats..." he confesses and I nod, not sure what to say.

Fuck, I’ve never been tongue tied before...this one oga has done so much to without even knowing, and I don’t want to let him go.

"What did you dream about?" I ask, tucking his hair behind his ear.

"My mom..." he says and I suck in a breath, his mother...the person whose guitar I asked for.

"Tell about it, I want to hear it" I say and he presses his lips together, eyes getting wet again and I run my thumb under his eyes.

"My mom was so kind" he starts and I hum, wanting to know more.

"She used to take to the mountainside during the holidays, I loved it so much..." he says and trails off, sniffling and holding backing tears.

"We used to fish, and I miss it...I’m bad at fishing, she’s bad at fishing too, so grandma would spend the day laughing at us" he presses his face into my chest again and I let out a small strange noise.

The noise is sothing similar to a purr, I just want to comfort him.

I know nothing about comfort, I haven’t received it from anyone before, but here I am willing to do it for him.

"When we end up catching nothing, mom would play her guitar and sing silly songs to make grandma catch the fishes for us" he continues.

"I miss it so much" he adds and I rub my hand up and down his back.

"I haven’t seen grandma in so long...I don’t know if she would even rember my face" he starts to sob and I kiss the top of his head.

"Why didn’t you go to see her?" I ask him quietly, needing to know what to deal with first, needing to know what I have to tear down first.

"I’m an oga..." he says and places his hand on his neck.

"Traveling that far without my...alpha and without a collar or mark would be attracting trouble to myself" he says in a small voice and I nod.

Daeshin doesn’t deserve him...and I will make sure he will get the only thing he deserves.

"Do you want to go?" I ask him in a low voice and his eyes widen, "to see grandma?" he whispers and I nod.

His eyes widen and he looks like a deer.

"I’ll love that, I’ll love that so much" he says and I smile, fuck, I must look stupid but I smile at him with all the happiness in my body.

"Thank you" he says and I lean in to capture his lips in a kiss.

The oga lts in my arms, he fits right in, so perfect that I never want him to leave.

Fuck, we have been here for two days, completely naked and entangled but this feels like the closest we have been.

"How do you feel?" he asks, placing his hand on my shoulder, and I chuckle.

"I should be asking you...your heat, how is it?" I ask, paying attention to his face, and taking note of the difference in his expression.

His eyes are clearer and more focused, the tip of his nose is pink, and his lips are no longer cracked.

"I feel like it’s over...it’s so strange" he says and I shut my eyes, sniffing the air for his scent but he slls less of heat and more normal...just happy.

"Hmm" I hum in response.

Junho told that the doctor said my rut is an alignnt to my mate’s need...is this it?

"We can get so rest...tomorrow is another day" I say to him and he yawns, falling asleep again easily.

Once he’s asleep, I pick my phone and send a text to two different people, one to Junho and one to Yuki.

Tomorrow really is another day...I’ll give him everything he couldn’t have and then more.
