I stare in disbelief at the cold stove.

I blink twice, the sun is barely shining, I am barely awake and I’m already being punched with insults by a perfect stranger.

"Isn’t this the kitchen?" I ask and she looks around in confusion, "yes...why?"

"Ah...Sooin doesn’t eat breakfast" she says and I blink in confusion, "why not?"

"She is very sick, she has a weak heart and always has stomachaches so...yeah" she says and I frown, "a child that is sick should eat even more" I say and she shakes her head slowly.

"This house, everything works differently, I have to go now, you can find by asking for Jisu" she says and leaves alone in the empty kitchen.

I clench my hands into a fist by side and look at the door once before going to open the pantry.
