Seoha’s POV

Kang Taesan stumbles into the office after pushing the door open with his shoulder.

His previously white shirt is now deep red from the bloodstains, my eyes are wide with shock as I watch him stagger into the space, bringing in the tallic sll of blood and alpha-like dominance.

This sll coming off him makes my oga whimper, he slls oddly...satisfied, like he is right where he wants to be...like bloodshed is his comfort zone.

"Get out- fuck" he curses as he moves too quickly and falls into the chair a guest should be occupying on a normal day.

The alpha doesn’t seem to rember that I’m in the room as he rips his ruined shirt off himself and wipes the shirt across his chest, hissing through his teeth.

’Alpha, hurt’ my oga whines inside , urging to move forward.

Without further hesitation, I get out of my chair and rush to his side to place my hands on his shoulders.

"Don’t you think?" I yell at him and his frown deepens, "now is not the ti to act impulsively, oga" he growls at but the words fly over my head as I push him down.

"Do you know you’re a father? Don’t you know it will kill Sooin to see you like this?" I continue to speak without filter and the alpha grabs my wrists, squeezing them together to shut up.

The grip hurts a lot but it doesn’t hurt as much as the way the injuries on his body look.

"Did I give you permission to touch ?" he asks, pulling closer to himself, close enough that our noses almost touch.

Close enough that I sll the cigarette on his breath, see the lingering darkness in his eyes and sll the slight musk hiding behind blood and insanity in his scent.

"N-no" I whisper and he lets go of , "but you gave permission to take care of Sooin" I say and he tilts his head back, "you’re smarter than you act, aren’t you?" he asks.

"No, I’m more human than you act" I say and pull his hands down, the alpha doesn’t give an answer, he just stares at as if calculating , as if he’s judging .

An unreadable expression flashes in his eyes before he lets out a sigh.

"Fine, touch" he says, jutting his chin upwards and I move my fingers to trace the slash on his chest. The wound looks like it was made by a pocket knife, deep but not too serious.

"It’s already closing up" I say to myself and he chuckles.

"It’s how alphas are, oga, this is how we are made" he says and I press down slightly, making the alpha groan in pain, he sounds pained but the spike of musk in his scent seize my senses for a fraction.

Is this how he lives? He lives off the thrill of getting hurt like this?

Apart from the slash, he isn’t too hurt, there’s a bruise on his cheek but it’s nothing that can’t be cleaned with an antiseptic for safety.

The man groans again as I examine him like I know what I’m doing, his tattoos are even more intricate up close, there is a tiger eating up a lion eating up a chick.

There are too many scars on his skin, too many marks left by violence, things that shouldn’t be there.

"Are all your scars from this?" I ask and he hums before responding.

"No" he says simply and I look into his eyes with concern, "they are from existing" he adds as if he’s rely entertaining .

"No one should live like this" I say in a broken voice and the alpha breathes out through his nose.

Without thinking, I get between his spread legs and go down on my knees, placing my hands on his strong thighs as I lean in and lap at the wound...just like ogas do for their pups and their...beloved.

’But he’s not my beloved’ I say to myself and my oga responds. ’Mine’ he says as the taste of the alpha’s blood and skin fills my mouth.

I hold on to his legs tighter to take a second lick at the wound, I need to heal him like this too, need to-

"What are you doing?" Taesan asks, his voice getting gravelly as he asks that question, and instead of an answer, a whimper slips out of my lips.

My oga is at the forefront of my mind, taking over and tending to the alpha he’s laying claim to, what are we doing?

My cheeks heat up with sha but I lap at the wound again and Taesan groans as his abdominal muscles tighten from the touch of my tongue, my scent sweetens within seconds and his own scent deepen with arousal, I can see the growling bulge in his pants as he gasps.

"Shit" he hisses and grabs my hair.

The alpha holds my head away from his body and stares down at , it’s embarrassing to be this way, but I only let out a broken whine in confusion.

Why isn’t he letting take care of him?

"You know what you’re doing, little deer, don’t you?" he asks and I shake my head side to side.

"When I speak, you answer with words" he snarls at and I press my legs together, it’s unintentional, it doesn’t make any sense but it feels right.

Tears spring up in my eyes and he releases his grip slightly.

"I’m in a bad state of mind, Seoha, and I don’t want to hurt you" he says and I nod as if I understand, but I don’t, the way he said my na feels like a reward.

’Why isn’t he letting us?’ my oga asks inside while the alpha’s lips are moving, he’s saying sothing to us...he wants to say sothing, but my head is only filled with his scent.

"I want- I just want to help you" I whisper and he takes his hand out of my hair completely, pushing off him and I land to the floor on my backside.

The fall hurts but my oga is willing to do anything to care for him.

"Oga, get the fuck out before I do sothing we both regret" he orders and I force myself up, scrambling out of the office in submission.
