In the cold-aired morning, Fang Raon was back at training outside as the sun hovered high above him.
Today he almost managed to complete the jog in ti.
He was just two minutes too late, so he was confident that tomorrow he might be able to start training inside.
’It is quite embarrassing to be behind every Fourth-Liner when I am supposed to be the team leader.
’That’s fine, though. They’ve been training longer than . I’ll catch up to them eventually!’
Fang Raon thought to himself.
In that mont, from the front gates, he saw a carriage co over and roll to a stop just in front of the front doors.
From there, Della and Miranda stepped out.
It looked like they went sowhere early in the morning and just ca back just now.
"Guild master. Miss Miranda."
Fang Raon greeted them.
"Good morning~"
Della waved her hand, and Miranda acknowledged his existence with just a simple nod.
"Ah, if I may... Miss Miranda, can I have a word with you?"
Fang Raon said.
"Ah?"
Miranda raised an eyebrow, looked at Della, who said, "Go ahead," and went inside by herself.
"What is it?"
Miranda crossed her arms and asked—she was sounding as unfriendly as ever—more so when it ca to Fang Raon.
They didn’t get along well on the 6th floor, and well, that hadn’t improved at all.
"I’d like to discuss you about streaming. I was thinking about trying it out, but I don’t really know where to begin."
Fang Raon said.
"...Why are you asking ? I am not that successful strear. Della, on the other hand, has over 10,000 people watching whenever she streams."
Miranda asked.
"I don’t want to disturb the guild master."
Fang Raon said.
"So it’s fine disturbing ?"
Miranda asked with a twitching eyebrow.
"Yeah."
Fang Raon said.
"...You..."
Miranda gritted her teeth, and she then flipped her hair, showing her annoyance, and she then sat down on the front steps of the mansion.
"What do you want to know?"
"What do strears usually do when they start? The popular ones, I an."
Fang Raon asked.
"They do raids... Player-versus-player battles... Anything that’ll keep viewers entertained. It is also good to have an entertaining personality.
"One of my viewers called my personality as dry as drywall, which is why my streaming career never kicked off..."
Miranda said sourly.
"What does a guild master do?"
Fang Raon asked.
"She likes streaming solo raids that she does sotis. And well, she beca very popular because she is extrely charming and cute like a doll... Which is why the majority of her viewers are guys.
"They like cute girls like her, and she is also always energetic when it cos to streaming. I can’t do it like her. Keep that energetic persona for many hours."
Miranda said.
"...Hmm."
Fang Raon wondered to himself.
This conversation didn’t really help him, as he didn’t know how he should start, as he was part of the guild, and he just couldn’t do whatever he wanted.
Since he was a new mber of the guild, there was a sort of schedule that he had to follow, while older mbers of the guild could do pretty much whatever they wanted except when it was ti for a raid.
Fang Raon’s current schedule was training, training, training... and then raid when they were finally ready.
"There is one thing that always brought a lot of viewers even to smaller streams. And that is Guild Wars. That really interests the viewers.
"Rose Records has never been in a Guild War, so none of us have stread it, but I’ve watched a couple Guild War streams.
"I can see why players are very interested in it."
Miranda said.
’Well, that’s sothing I can’t do. Guild Wars are a big thing in the tower, and they don’t happen as often anymore.
’There used to be Guild Wars every week in the early days of the Black Online as guilds tried making a na for themselves.
’Even my sister had to deal with a couple of Guild Wars, and she managed to survive each one of them, which is why her guild is such a powerhouse now.’
Fang Raon thought to himself.
"Why do you want to stream?"
Miranda asked.
"...Money."
Fang Raon said with honesty.
"You won’t make anything for a couple of months, at least. It takes ti to gain viewers, and you might never make it big.
"I know so strears start with making videos first. They increase their fanbase before transitioning to streaming full-ti."
Miranda said.
"...Videos? What kind of videos?"
Fang Raon asked.
"Anything, really. Tutorial videos, fight videos, or even just vlogs of their daily lives. The newest popular videos are all about "secret caves" that contain treasures or sothing like that.
"Those always get a lot of views, but they are usually clickbait and fake, but it doesn’t matter. They still get views."
Miranda said.
"...Yeah, I don’t want to do so fake clickbait shit."
Fang Raon said.
"Making videos also makes a decent amount of money. If you get views, that is."
Miranda said.
"Thank you, Miss Miranda, you gave a lot to think about."
Fang Raon said with a smile.
"No problem... Don’t get discouraged if it doesn’t work out. There are millions of new videos and millions of new strears popping up every week.
"Less than one percent of them will beco even remotely successful."
Miranda said and headed back inside.
"Hmm..."
Fang Raon pondered to himself.
’I already have a little reputation as the player who solo cleared the early floors, but most players have already forgotten about it.
’It only gave like 2 days of fa, but nobody cares about that anymore. I would need to do sothing bigger to stand out again.’
Fang Raon thought.
He then shook his head, planning to think about it later, and for now, resud his training in his swordsmanship.
While fighting invisible opponents with his sword and shield, he had noticed one thing that was annoying him.
’I don’t feel comfortable with my shield. I feel very restricted. I don’t really know how to fight with the shield.
’...I should ask help from Rock.’
