The light got sucked back into the golden grimoire, and Della slowly approached the dazed Devon.
"I told you before—if you give the na of a spy, I’ll let you live. Otherwise, I will kill you without hesitation."
She said.
"Hah... haha... haha..."
Devon raised his head to look at her and grinned with bloody teeth.
"I’m not telling you shit... Bitch... Ptui!"
He tried spitting the blood at her, but a golden shield surrounded Della, and the blood splattered harmlessly against it.
"Tch..."
Devon gritted his teeth.
"I’ll give you one more chance."
Della said.
"Haha... Even if you are speaking the truth, and you’ll let live... I still wouldn’t say... I can die and lose everything, but when Grinding Grief wins the war, I’ll get all of it back and more...
"If I die and Grinding Grief also loses... I truly lose everything... So, bitch, I will not help you in a million fucking years.
"Grinding Griefs on top!"
Devon laughed loudly and maniacally.
"...Okay."
Della reached out to her golden grimoire, pulled out a golden sword from one of its pages, and then swung it at him.
The golden blade cut through Devon’s neck like butter, and his head rolled to the ground, laughing even as it did so.
Only when he turned to pixels did the laughing stop.
"..."
Della stayed silent, and she then looked at all the food in the room.
"Golden Womb."
She cast a spell, and beside her, a glowing golden portal appeared, and it sucked all the food into it.
When it was done, it disappeared.
"Haah..."
She sighed, pulled open her chat window, and contacted Miranda to gather every team leader and core mber for a eting.
It was ti to find out who the traitor was.
...
"...Another eting?"
Fang Raon saw a ssage sent by Miranda, who inford everyone about the urgent eting, and he was curious about what it was about.
He was actually planning to log off for the night as it was almost nine, and he had to be logged out to have that phone call with Chaewon.
’I hope it’s quick...’
He thought and headed back to the mansion, and after arriving at the eting room, he noticed that every person that was also in the previous eting was here.
He sat down on one of the chairs, and there was only one person missing—the guild master, Della Rose.
The ti ticked down slowly, and after a short mont, Della stepped through the open doors, looking at the group with a stern expression.
"???"
Rock looked at his granddaughter with an odd expression.
It was like he could tell that sothing must’ve happened to her for her to beco so gravely serious.
Sure, it could be because of the Guild War and it being very serious business, but he had a hunch it was sothing else.
"Grandfather... Lock the door, please."
Della asked.
"..."
Rock raised an eyebrow, walked to the door, and locked it tightly, and knew that sothing was amiss.
Instead of returning to his seat, he decided to lean against the door, like he was standing on watch as a guard.
Everyone else also noticed that the vibe was off.
"I’ll get straight to the point. The reason why I ntioned about the location where the food was stored... Was because I was baiting the spy.
"I needed to make sure that there are no traitors in this close circle... And I am sad to tell you all that there is one traitor here.
"A mber of the Grinding Griefs, Devon, snuck into the Old Bakery and tried burning it down to the ground.
"I stopped him."
Della said with a serious expression.
It took a mont for everyone to register her words, and they couldn’t believe that there was actually a traitor among soone that they trusted.
"FOR FUCK’S SAKE!"
Rock roared and looked at the group of players seated around the table, and his voice sounded angrier than ever before.
Even Fang Raon hadn’t seen him like this before.
"How much did it take for you to sell your souls to those bastards? Huh? Whoever you are, traitor, you’re fucking dead."
Rock growled.
They looked at each other, and all had the sa thought—is this guy the traitor or her?—None of them trusted each other.
"There are only three people in this room that I trust wholeheartedly. Who definitely aren’t traitors."
Della said.
Waylen, Rickard, Owen, Adam, and Fang Raon turned to look at her, all wondering, "Who are those three?" with raised eyebrows.
"My grandfather is the first one. He is my family, and he would never betray .
"Miranda is the second one. She helped to hide the food in the first place, and if she were a traitor, they would’ve known about Old Bakery long ago.
"And the third one... Fang Raon. He is the newest mber of us here, and I’ve known that there is a traitor for many months already, feeding information to our enemies.
"So it cannot be him."
Della said.
’Reasonable conclusion.’
Fang Raon thought to himself with a sigh of relief.
Rock also nodded as he also agreed with those three and knew that it was impossible for Fang Raon to be a traitor.
He didn’t think he was that kind of a person.
"The rest of you—I want you to show your chat history. For the information to get to Grinding Grief and Monsieur Rascal that quickly, you must’ve sent them a ssage.
"Show and prove your innocence."
Della said with a serious look.
"I don’t mind."
Waylen opened his chat window, and sent it over to Della, and she glanced over it, and looked at him with a tired look.
"What? I am just flirting with so girls, it’s not that bad."
Waylen innocently shrugged his shoulders.
"...Here."
Adam also sent his chat window over to her, and it was quite empty except for occasional ssages to the mbers of his team.
"Rickard, your turn."
Della looked at him.
"Okay~"
Rickard pulled open his chat window, and looked like he was about to send it, but at that mont, he suddenly jumped to his feet, and grabbed Miranda.
"Ah?!"
He put her in a chokehold and pulled out his sword, which he placed against her back—the tip of the blade pressed against her skin.
"It’s you?!"
Everyone exclaid and all got into arms and pointed them at him.
"...Rickard."
Della’s eyes shook with a look of betrayal in her eyes as she still held a tiny linger of belief that nobody of her close friend circle actually betrayed her.
She thought that there was a chance that so of them might’ve accidentally leaked it to their team mbers and that one of them was the traitor.
But now, it was obvious who the traitor was.
"You outplayed , Della~ I thought about possibility that my cover would be blown if I revealed the information to them...
"I was already ready to change sides either way, but I guess you forced my hand, Della."
Rickard smirked.
"Woof! Woof! Woof!"
In that mont, Rock summoned two of his anest-looking hounds, and they were barking loudly.
"..."
Miranda’s face turned pale as she could feel the coldness of the blade pressing her back.
’...Ah.’
Fang Raon looked towards the ceiling, where his cara was still floating, as he completely forgot to stop recording.
