"Damn!"

Luke pulled his hair after having disastrously bad luck on the dice roll—he got number one on both dice.

He was going to have the worst pick.

"What’ll I choose?"

With bright eyes, Rae looked at the items in front of her, and she happened to get the best dice roll.

Ding! Ding!

In that mont.

Fang Raon’s eyes moved to the chat window—he received a ssage—and he quickly read through it.

"Machary. It looks like the guild master wants to et us in her office. For the after-raid report."

Fang Raon said.

"Then let’s go."

Machary stood up, and he left with Fang Raon.

They walked down the warm-looking hallways. Windows rattling with snow flurries outside. It felt like Christmas.

"The snowstorm is supposed to last a couple of days, so it doesn’t look like we’ll be training outside any ti soon."

Machary said.

"Clearing the snow afterwards will be a pain."

Fang Raon said with a sigh.

"Will you start practicing for that General’s Ga tournant tomorrow?"

Machary asked.

He had happened to hear that Fang Raon would be competing in so kind of tournant over on the 6th floor.

Also, Rock was supposed to train him for it.

"Yep..."

Fang Raon nodded.

It wasn’t many days before the tournant anymore, and there were still a lot of things that he wanted to learn about General’s Ga.

They soon arrived at Della’s office, but before entering, they knocked and then heard a soft, "Co in," from inside.

When they opened the door, they saw Della sitting behind her desk, and as always, Miranda was standing beside her.

They were almost inseparable as they never seed to be away from each other.

"Welco back."

Della said with a sweet smile.

They responded with a nod and said, "Thank you, guild master."

It truly felt like they had been away for days even though it was just a trip of a couple of hours, but so much happened that the ti felt stretched.

"Excellent work with the King. I am impressed. It was rather risky, and I don’t like taking risks like that, but... it went well in the end."

Della said with a smile.

Machary and Fang Raon looked surprised, as they didn’t expect her to already know about the King.

"How do you..."

"I stread the raid."

In that mont, soone else entered the office—it was Nico—who was also summoned to the office by Della.

"...You did?"

Fang Raon looked at him in surprise.

He didn’t see a cara, so he was really surprised and didn’t like the fact that he stread without their knowledge.

’Does that an everyone saw the raid...?’

He frowned.

"Don’t worry. I only stread it privately to mbers of Rose Records. Nobody else saw anything, so don’t worry."

Nico said.

"But why?"

Fang Raon asked.

"I told him to. It’s common for the team leaders to stream their raids privately to us so we can see how it goes.

"In this case, I didn’t want anybody to know, as I wanted to see how you all perford without knowing that we were watching."

Della said.

’I had thought about starting my streaming career with the raid streams, but I wanted to do a couple of first raids without extra distraction and see how it would go.’

Fang Raon thought.

He understood why the streaming was a must so that Rose Records would know imdiately if they had failed the raid.

"I honestly didn’t like your first choice, Fang Raon. To choose to continue with the raid was questionable. If you aren’t certain about sothing, always prioritize survival.

"Survival is the most important thing in the tower, and you should never forget that. Trust your heart, and if you don’t feel a hundred percent confident... Don’t take unnecessary risks."

Della said.

"...I understand, guild master."

Fang Raon said with a sigh.

He had begun to regret his choice quite a lot when the King arrived, and he knew that it was the wiser move to quit the raid when they found out that all monsters were gone.

It was never a good idea to go blindly into unpredictable territory, and that was honestly his mistake—even if it went well in the end.

"Here. Your weekly paynt. Fang Raon, I also want you to deliver the share of others to them as well."

Della put several money pouches on the desk, and as Machary took his own, Fang Raon also took his own and eight other money pouches.

’This is a total of 80,000 I am holding. Including mine, that’s 100,000 gold coins. That is a lot...’

Fang Raon gulped.

He had never been in possession of so much money even as a child of the Fang Family, but it only made his drive stronger.

’One day...’

He stored the money in his inventory, then bowed goodbye to Della and left the office with Machary.

"They work well together, don’t they?"

Della asked her close friend, Miranda, as she watched the two young n leave the office behind.

"It was impressive, Miss Della."

Miranda said.

"You wanted to talk about the 3rd line, right?"

Della looked at her friend.

"Yes... With Owen now gone, there is a vacant spot in the 3rd line, and Machary honestly showed a lot of skill. I think he could fit in the 3rd line like a glove."

Miranda said.

"Hmm..."

Della frowned.

"The 3rd line is also in need of a Warrior. The 4th line already has Fang Raon and Niall, so they probably don’t need a 3rd Warrior."

Miranda said.

"Yes, but... I feel like it is a huge sha to separate Machary and Fang Raon. They work together so well. Even though it got pretty bad during the team leader selection.

"I think they’re capable of amazing things together."

Della said.

"Yes, I agree, but... Does Machary want to stay in Fang Raon’s shadow? He has his own ambitions, and that doesn’t include being a follower."

Miranda said.

"I’ll think about it, but for now, I want to keep them together for the next couple raids at least. After that, who knows?"

Della said.

Miranda nodded and said a soft "ok," and both of them heard a loud noise outside the window as the wind picked up again.

The wind sounded like it was howling with anger, and the windows rattled in a way that one could mistake for a knock at the door.

"I am slightly pissed at you, though."

Miranda said with a pout.

"Why?"

Della asked with a smile.

She knew that it was a joke because Miranda would never be angry at her, so she was amused already.

"You went to the 9th floor without and took Fang Raon instead. I feel betrayed. I am usually your carawoman."

Miranda pouted.

"Hehe~ I wanted to give a little helping hand for Fang Raon, that’s all~"

Della winked.

In that mont, she also rembered what happened during the trip to the 9th floor and felt her cheeks heat up.

She felt that it was hard to balance her feelings, and trying to be professional at the sa ti as she was the guild master.

"With his streaming career?"

Miranda asked.

She told Della that Fang Raon was planning to beco a strear.

"Yes. I thought of getting my community to know him and then helping him get accustod to streaming as well."

Della said with a giggle.

"You’re so nice, Della, but you never go out of your way like this to help others with their streaming. Why is he so different for you to do this?"

Miranda asked.

"Who knows~"

Della twirled her hair.

’Don’t tell ...’

Miranda’s eyes shook.

...

"Thanks, boss!"

Everyone looked thrilled as Fang Raon gave their weekly paycheck.

They had also chosen their items from the treasure chest, and they all seed pretty pleased with what they got.

"No problem."

Fang Raon said.

He then bid his farewell to them, as he planned to log off for tonight, but before that, he went to his room.

’Let’s see.’

He took out the King’s Armor, King’s Shortsword, and King’s Shield from his inventory and placed them on the bed.

King’s Armor looked heavy, and it had a silver sheen—it looked very durable, as if it was hard to damage.

King’s Shortsword was pretty sharp, gleaming under the sunlight. The King’s Shield was large and sturdy, with intricate designs etched into the tal.

"The weight and balance seem good."

Fang Raon tried swinging the King’s Shortsword, and it whistled through the air like a knife through butter.

It was light, so it was easy to swing it quickly, and he then tried the shield, which was quite the opposite, as it felt heavy.

’I need to get my strength up to utilize these better.’

He thought.

Usually, if other players increased their Attack attribute, their appearance inside the ga wouldn’t change.

Fang Raon was a different case.

Because the Attack attribute was basically the Strength attribute, and sohow, these attributes were also able to change his real-life body.

Thus.

After another level or two, he could look crazy muscular if he wanted to.
