---Cinema Dinsion---

“Kukuku, I will have to tell Tawaret about this. She will love that! ...Or get angry. Great!” Bes, the portly little god cackled at the fact that his chosen had gotten a pet resembling a hippo so much. As ancient work colleagues, he and Tawaret had a special bond.

“That is if they manage to raise it,” Kali comnted, trying to rain on his parade. After her champion was slain, she had taken the invitation to leave a clone to watch, but she was still a little grumpy and Bes' happiness sohow irked her especially bad.

“Maybe they will even destroy their own world by raising a beast they can't contain,” she added maliciously.

“It should be okay,” the System God gave his opinion. He was obviously not worried about whether they would be able to raise the Behemothling well.

“Hmm, what makes you think so?” Kali asked snippy.

“I actually considered leading a herd of Behemothling to Urth to contain those aggressively growing woods. but I decided against it,” the tacky wizard robe explained.

“Why did you decide against it? Was a herd too much?” Hers asked him curiously.

“No, no... I was afraid they would multiply too rapidly when faced with an almost infinite food source. At so point Urth's atmosphere would have ignited, turning into a ball of fire, setting a herd of Behemothling into the Pathworks,” the god leisurely painted a picture of terraforming followed by a final end of the world.

“I-I see...” Hers said a little shocked, while Kali had grown really silent. “But one exemplar will probably be okay,” the robe tried to calm the god of husbandry. While so gods spoke about the Behemothling, others had a different topic.

“Do you think the Aesir or Vanir will show interest in Minas Mar when they find out about his fiancé’s pet? Maybe we should tell Sekht to hurry?” Hephaestus whispered to his uncle. Hades thought silently for a mont, not answering his nephew.

A Kin of Gram was not the only thing that could draw in the Asgardians. There was also the Guardian Tree, which so much resembled the World Tree they placed in the center of their worship rites. There was also Python, whose seat at the root of one of these trees also resembled one of their core myths.

While the Olympian Pantheon and the Heliopolian Pantheon could be called acquainted, the gods of the 9 worlds were strangers to them. They knew about each other, but they usually didn't interact very much.

Olympians and Heliopolians had already invested quite a bit into the people of Minas Mar, the possibility of another, foreign faction also blessing people “on their turf” felt threatening. There was nothing wrong with it, but it had a bitter aftertaste.

Still, telling another god to hurry about her choice of a champion also wasn't proper. Though it would have been the easiest solution, Sekht was in a similar situation as Maahes. Choosing a champion was a serious decision for them. Hades sighed.

“Whatever happens, will happen,” he said stoically. They already had broadcasting rights for most of the main characters. Trying to monopolize the guild was not just greedy but ultimately had the potential to harm their own interest. There was no good enough reason to push the war goddess.

...

When they finished purchasing their pet eggs, it had beco late noon and the trio hurriedly went to the next restaurant on the list, to have a proper lunch. Although they had spent all morning before beelining between food stalls and shops, that didn't an they couldn't eat more.

Especially Fin and to a lower factor Seth, could eat a lot, and buying eggs had made them hungry. The place they went to was a famous cafe with a large area to sit outside. Thanks to Senior White, Spring City was blessed with good weather like today's, making the outside area very popular.

Sitting down with a view at the avenue full of fancy shops and other food places, they gave the nu a good look, before ordering about half of everything on the card. While waiting for their food, they talked leisurely about the egg shop and their new pets.

“How long do you think it would take for the wolf to hatch once the seal is undone? Do you think we have to treat the eggs in a special way to make them hatch?” Mina wondered. They had missed asking Edgar about this detail.

“I doubt it will take long or need special attention. I’m sure Edgar would have ntioned it during the explanation. I would be more worried about what cos afterward, especially with the Behemothling,” the blacksmith said.

“What is that about my baby?” Fin barked worried, but also protective. What problem could there be with her baby?

“About its food. Maybe it will be okay at first, but at so point, we will have to bring it to the Evergrowing Forests to feed it. We might have to set up a Tree Station there, anyway, depending on what Alison and the others find there. Then you could port there to feed it when needed,” the blacksmith deliberated.

Alison and Evee were their main alchemists or potion brewers, even when Evee’s focus had shifted a little with her class as Chosen of Persephone. They did not only go to the forests to get seed for their offensive on Spatia, but also to find and judge the alchemy ingredients available in the forest.

Considering what they were planning to do on the Cloud Continent, it could also function as a relay point for their people.

“Oh! Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. We can’t have my baby nibble away at the guardian trees or people’s houses, hehe,” Fin laughed awkwardly, realizing that she slightly overreacted. It didn’t take long for their order to fill the table, barely leaving a glimpse of the tabletop.

The sll made his belly rumble. Yet, while he was savoring the sll like a wuss, Fin had already jumped into battle. Cutlery ablaze she was stabbing and slashing across the table. “Shit,” he cursed in his mind, realizing that he had to hurry if he still wanted to get a taste of any of the als.

While the blacksmith tried to compete with Fin for a bite of everything, Mina had already secured what she had ordered for herself, parrying the fairy’s offensive forksmanship, calmly eating her lunch.

The feeding frenzy ended within 30 minutes, leaving behind a battlefield of dirty dishes and tainted cutlery. Their bodies stacked in towers by the ti Mina, Seth, and Fin were finished. They were about to talk about where to go next, when a commotion happened at the far end of the avenue.

Turning their heads to where they heard screams, people were flung through the air. A man in flowing blue robes was half running, half flying through the crowd, distributing punches and kicks to whoever stood in their way.

Seeing the familiar figure chasing the cultivator, Seth reached out his hand and a golden spear with an almost black tip appeared in his hand. Slamming the Giant’s Rod on the ground, Seth cast “Granite Wall”.

Almost instantly, the advanced spell raised a massive, almost three-ter-thick wall, 5 ters high from the ground, blocking the center of the avenue. It was slap-dap in the middle of the fleeing man’s escape route.

He didn’t jump it. He didn’t climb it. As expected, monts before the running man reached the wall, he reached back to prepare a mighty punch. Instead of evading the obstacle, he wanted to break through the sa way he did to the crowd.

The fist rushed forward with incredibly force and to strike the granite- The surface of the magical granite shattered with a gut-wrenching crunch. No, the gut-wrenching crunch was actually the fist of the man. His tragic scream was cut short when his remaining montum was also stopped by the wall.

Seth calmly put the spear staff away, to sip the rest of his drink while they waited for the familiar faces to catch up. At the front was Duhu with a few Oathguards and following behind them were a group of cultivators Seth recognized as part of the Soaring Falcon Sect.

“Se-! I an, thank you for your help, citizen” Duhu was about to blow the Tower Master’s cover, but the Tijaahk rembered in the last mont that Seth was on vacation.

“Any day, great White Tiger of Minas Mar,” Seth answered amused. He had not expected Leana to send people this quickly, much less did he expect Duhu, with mbers of their allied sect. He didn’t ask them, but he concluded that this man was probably involved with the sects that had settled in their territory.

“Ah, err, yes. We will be on our way.” Duhu said awkwardly at Seth's joke. For so reason, so of the cultivators behind him started looking at him with glistening eyes, when they heard his title, Seth just made up. They didn’t know the Tower Muster, so they probably thought this was what citizens called him.

The group picked up the whimpering man, while Seth dispelled the wall.

“Great White Tiger of Minas Mar? That’s so cool!” Fin exclaid excitedly, when Duhu and the rest left. Seth looked at her awkwardly, making Mina chuckle.

“Did you just make that up?” the cat girl asked.

“Give one, too!” Fin suddenly demanded a grand title.

“ I thought you liked Guardian Twerp?”
