Following the procedure, the boots took a bath in the Waters of Styx. Once several notifications sounded, they left the bubble again, completely dry. Despite not trying this ti, there had been a synergy on the boots, one Seth would not have expected.

Sky Dragon Armor Set: To be updated.

One of two boots forged by Master Smith, the first Master Blacksmith and Master Enchanter of Urth, in cooperation with master Fädli. Using the legendary scale and wingleather of a Dragon, they are phenonal boots, further enhanced by their terrifying enchantnts. To be worn at your own discretion. >

It seed that Water Strider's Step and Olympian Levity had reacted with each other, creating the Olympian Stride effect that was added to the set effect, instead of either of the ntioned effects. As one would expect from an effect sharing the na of a pantheon, the description was pompous.

Olympian Stride: Allowed the user to travel with divine steps.

Seth had no idea what that would ultimately an for Faenys. He couldn't test these boots himself, even if he wanted to. Since they were fitted to Faenys, they were way too small for the blacksmith, and they were not enchanted with size-adjustnt.

The only other observation he had on the boots was that only one other thing had changed with the completion. The additional movent speed of the boots had risen by another 10%, but that was it... Which didn't an he was unsatisfied with the boots. Ř𝙖ꞐОBΕṨ

They already did quite enough, Seth was sure Faenys speed worries were completely eradicated with this. Each piece of the sky dragon armor improved her mana and magic power. He had also addressed her lack of ntal power with the helt. The last thing Faenys had asked for was strength, or rather, power.

So he would focus on improving Faenys' attack, and even if she was not the biggest fan of it, her defense with the remaining pieces of the armor. What was left to do? Faenys' version of the sky dragon armor still lacked gauntlets, pauldrons, and the cuirass.

While the arm parts would focus on attack and damage, Seth intended to go for defense on the cuirass. No matter how confident the brigand was in her evasion, there was always a possibility of getting hit. At least anything important apart from the head would be protected that way.

Since the boots were finished so far, he called the person in question to choose decorations and try them on. Despite the rather late hour, Faenys appeared in the workshop, soon after he gave her a call.

“I don't know if I ntioned it before, but I really like the dark blue of the scales after they soaked up your music,” she praised, inspecting the new armored boots. They knew that the boots themselves fit, since she tried them when Nädel finished them; what was new was the armor attached to them.

“I don't think you have, but I'm glad you like the color,” the blacksmith answered, proud to see his work appreciated. Apart from the fun it was to create sothing, seeing the person you made it for receive and appreciate your work was a major part of why he developed a passion for his class.

They talked for a while and chose a set of ornants and the placents where Seth would attach them to the boots, which he did right after. Attaching the pressed silver was quicker than the planning that went into it.

“Alright, let's test them,” Seth suggested, interested in the Olympian Stride-effect. Only Faenys, or soone of her shoe size, could have tested it right away. She agreed and they warped outside the tower, right at the front gate.

It was already dark outside, and a cold wind blew across the snow-covered mountains, illuminated by the almost full moon in the clear sky above. Neither of them was bothered by the darkness, as they had or a similar item effect.

The two had co out here, judging that the empty mountains were wide enough for a little test run with the boots. The Chosen of Phobos received her new footwear and imdiately equipped them.

“Alright, I'm ready-” she said, about to rush off, but the blacksmith stopped her.

“Please wear your full armor before you set off,” he cautioned her. The blacksmith had no idea exactly how fast Faenys was and how great the effects of just the boots would be, but he had a certain premonition that it was better for her to wear safety gear.

“Fine, fine. Happy?” she asked, after she equipped the rest of her personal armor. Faenys had long since graduated from the Oath Set, which the Oathguard wore, and put together her own gear made of epic and relic-rated gear either made for her or bought from the guild vault.

Although it was not a custom armor made from scratch for her, it was a good amalgamation of various parts that worked well together. With that, Seth gave her his okay, and Faenys suddenly vanished in a cloud of disturbed snow.

If it wasn't for his Sight of Theia necklace, it would have been hard to keep up with her speed. Right now, the only reason he lost her was the massive storm of snow she kicked up as she ran at breakneck speed.

Was she running? His suspicions were confird when Faenys failed to stop at a cliff in the far distance and simply kept striding through the air. When seen with the dynamic vision of Theia's Vision, it didn't seem like running and more like ice skating.

Every step was not only quick, but it took her a great distance forward, making it look like she was simply gliding across a surface, or straight up air in this case. When she realized that she didn't plumt imdiately, she beca even faster as she slowly descended through the air.

When she finally reached a ledge further down, where her foot was able to grasp solid footing again, he step was like an explosion, clearing away the snow for several tens of ters from the impact.

Right there, she had suddenly co to a halt. Lifting her helt, she looked back toward the blacksmith with a crazed look on her face. She had yet to test all the functions, but she was already completely hooked by just the power of the boots.

Or was it the demonic enchantnt? Seere's power shouldn't have any drawbacks... but thinking this was her natural disposition made it slightly more concerning. Had he made a mistake, making her... too fast?

These were just the boots; she wasn't even wearing the cuisses. Ultimately, Seth decided to bury those worries. He was sure the helt would be able to keep her in check, considering the willpower and resistances it granted.

Seth thought this, as she had just co to a halt. He expected her to co back now, but she suddenly smiled with a look back and started running again. She accelerated even faster, zooming across the mountain.

She was just about to turn, she couldn't make the cut, and directly slamd into the mountainside, leaving a Faenys-sized dent. Yep, he saw that one coming. It didn't take a skill to know that she would get cocky.
