As it turned out, Cade's primary class, Rakshasa, was quite peculiar. It ca with a slew of varied skills she could choose to develop. Various resistances, Illusion Magic, Dark Magic, Transformation, Conjuration, Unard combat so on and so forth. She even had a high magic resistance and a way to harm souls, but her class also ca with a certain price.
“I originally needed to consu human flesh, but I never killed anyone for it. I ate the at of corpses...” she finally revealed what she treated as her darkest secret. “But I don't need it since the evaluation! This necklace Leana helped to choose, negates the need to eat,” she added, showing him the Necklace of the Olm.
This was a necklace fashioned from the core of a Greater Olm, a beast that reached legendary status. Its main function was literally the negation of the need to eat. It also granted enhanced stamina regeneration and an increased life span.
In addition to the effects of the core, the necklace was enchanted with a legendary enchantnt of strength and agility, which raised both by 100 points. It was a great item, but it was just a sha that it ant that Cade wouldn't be able to equip jewelry sets that included a necklace.
“Why aren't you saying anything?” Cade asked nervously, as if she expected to be judged for what she did. Seth looked up from the necklace. Maybe her sha was part of the reason she never properly got close to anyone after losing her family.
Well, he did spout so nonsense about paying for the deeds committed to survive, but he said it mostly to encourage her. It wasn't like it was his own ideal. Unless soone like Cade revealed their deeds and asked for reparation, there was little anyone could do.
“Sorry, I was checking the necklace. It's good you don't have to cannibalize anymore, Evee wouldn't be too happy about soone snacking on her subordinates,” he joked with a shrug. Maybe the revelation would have had more impact on him 4 years ago, but now?
He was running a machine in the basent that was turning monster corpses into golem bodies. He was befriended by a necromancer who had an army of undead people. He literally made a golem of death that took control of the Zombies of Oga. Who was he to judge soone for getting a little nibble from a corpse?
“So, what about the Rune Warrior?” Seth asked when Cade didn't say anything. The blacksmith knew that Cade could engrave runes on her skin to gain certain buffs or skills, but he had no idea about the specifics.
“Ah, right. Well...” she needed a mont, but quickly jumped on the new topic. The Rune Warrior was another class with great versatility. Apparently, she had gotten the class through a legacy item she picked up at Chrona's treasury.
It was a ring that granted her the class and turned into a tattoo on her ring finger, afterwards. The class not only granted her a variety of runes she could use for temporary buffs, but she was also able to earn unique tattoos through special feats. These could grant permanent buffs, but were also permanently visible.
However, none of the skills of the rune warrior counted as skills or magic, so there was little the sky dragon armor could do for that class with its inherent traits. There were so enchantnts ant for supporters that could increase the power of buffs, however-
“It's okay to focus the armor on spell power, physical defense, and lee damage,” Cade suddenly said when Seth explained the difficulty of doing sothing specific for the rune warrior. Her first class gave her a whopping 40% Magic Resistance. Together with the armor's negation, she had little need to worry about magic.

“So, technically, we are almost doing a proper mage armor this ti,” the blacksmith suddenly said with a smile. Although Cade fought more like an assassin than a magician, almost all powers of the rakshasa were based on magic damage. Since she could rely on the Rune Warrior class to further cover her weaknesses, there was no reason to make the armor balanced.
The only point that fell out with the proper mage armor was lee damage, probably ant for her fighting style reliant on her claws. He already had a fun idea for that.
“Yes, I think that would suffice,” Cade said humbly. Unlike Faenys, who had clear ideas of what she wanted and needed, Cade seed to just look forward to having reliable armor. However, both agreed on the fact that they preferred passive power-ups over a variety of skills.
Although skills were stronger in general, Seth could understand how hard it could beco to fight when one had to keep all the equipnt skills in mind, in addition to the ones one already had. Especially Cade with her chaotic skill table.
They talked for a little longer while Seth ca up with a rough plan for the enchantnts. Finally, Seth took her current asurent before ending the day.
“This should be enough. Stay in Minas Mar for the ti being. I will call for you if there is equipnt to fit, “ the blacksmith told her before Cade left the workshop. Now, having a proper vision for the armor, Seth could feel so motivation again.
Seth started by drafting a fresh blueprint. The base set stayed the sa as that of Faenys, only the size was adjusted. The easiest decision, after talking to Cade, was the forging of ballads.
He would use the forging ballad of Damage Reflection or the Curiass, while he would enchant the rest with the ballad of Harut and Marut, the sa had been used for the ten legendary magic rings. The latter would guarantee a roughly 50% increase in magic power per armor piece.
The actual enchantnts were a little more restricted, since Seth had to keep in mind that every piece needed the auto-sizing feature. Although that enchantnt was no big deal, it did slightly restrict what could be placed on the physical armors. In the end, Seth actually decided to leave enchantnt to Rún for the most part.
It was a fact that arcane enchantnt was much better suited for empowering magic powers. Seth, on the other hand, didn't have many advanced circuits that could support a mage as well as Rún's enchantnts.
In part, it was also to save ti. With the golem taking over the enchantnt of the physical items, Seth would be able to focus on forging the armor, the soul armants, and enchanting the latter. Otherwise, he would have a hard ti finishing 10 legendary armor pieces in 7 days without burning so midnight oil.
As for the souls, this was a little bottleneck. He still had a couple hundred ordinary souls he could refine, as he did for Monique's armor, but it was hardly enough. Unfortunately, Tano'Mol had been unable to properly restock since his return.
His once ample rchandise had been properly ransacked by Seth to the point that the goat couldn't offer him any good souls for this mage armor. At least none he was happy with and refining them would have been a sha, since they could have been useful for sothing else at a later ti.
The blacksmith sighed. Once again, he wished he had thought of a soul gathering device sooner. He had ntioned the topic to Tano, and the chances of making an item for adventurers to wear that would collect souls for the spirit blacksmith were good.
The problem was that he currently didn't have the ti. Even if he put a couple of days into developing one, it would not quicken the current process. He would just lose a couple more days. No, there was only one choice.
“I guess I will have to hit a couple of dungeons myself tomorrow...” the blacksmith mumbled. This ant he would lose a day, but it was better than simply cobbling sothing together. This would also give Rún a day to decide his own set of enchantnts. Ultimately, he left the blueprint only half finished.
The only things completely decided were the design and forging ballads. He would need to speak with Rún about individual enchantnts. The enchantnts of the souls would have to wait until he got his hands on souls.
