Now reading: Chapter 16 16: [16] Are You Tired Now? from Bleach: I'm Bound to Aizen, a Action novel by Aarvan.

Under the moonlight, Satoru crossed half of the Seireitei and returned to the Shin'ō Academy dormitory.

After showing the First Division's pass to the guard, the man imdiately let him in without hesitation.

Putting away the pass, Satoru couldn't help but marvel.

The taste of authority is truly sweet.

In the past, if he stayed out past curfew while playing in the Rukongai, he'd have to sneak back over the wall. He'd never been able to swagger in like this.

With a smug grin, Satoru sauntered into the dorm and headed toward his room.

Just before reaching his door, he paused in surprise.

Aizen, dressed in plain linen clothes, was walking toward him from the other end of the hallway.

Spotting Satoru, Aizen also froze montarily.

But then, he spoke up. "What a coincidence. I just went to the bathroom and happened to run into you on your way back."

"Was the Captain-Commander's training tough? You're back quite late."

Satoru briefly recounted the night's events.

Hearing about his "adventure," Aizen couldn't help but sigh.

Typical Satoru—even a study session at the First Division turns into trouble.

Speaking of studying at the First Division, Aizen was genuinely curious about what the man hailed as the strongest Shinigami in a millennium would teach Satoru.

Though curious, he wouldn't ask.

A Shinigami's abilities were their lifeline—never to be carelessly revealed.

Even if he and Satoru were friends, it wasn't his place to pry into what he had learned.

With that thought, Aizen prepared to return to his room.

However, before he could take a step, Aizen heard Satoru say:

"By the way, Sōsuke, are you sleepy right now? If not, I can tell you about those things Old Man Yamamoto taught ."

"?"

Aizen turned his head, looking at Satoru with so surprise.

"What's wrong? Too sleepy? We can talk about it tomorrow if you prefer," Satoru said.

Aizen frowned. "It's not about being sleepy... Satoru, do you realize what you're saying?"

"Although I don't know what the Captain-Commander taught you, those are valuable resources."

"Mastering techniques other Shinigami don't know allows for faster progress, more resources, and better opportunities."

"These are your assets—how can you just casually share them with others?"

Hearing this, Satoru showed a thoughtful expression.

"You're right. What I learned from the Captain-Commander shouldn't be taught to just anyone."

Aizen nodded slightly and was about to leave.

But then Satoru added, "But between the two of us, are we really 'just anyone'?"

Aizen was montarily taken aback.

Before he could respond, Satoru had already turned and started walking. "Co on, let's find a quieter place. We might disturb people here, and we'd have to avoid the dorm supervisor... Let's go to the dojo. No one's there at night."

Watching Satoru walk ahead without hesitation, Aizen first looked surprised, then puzzled, before finally shaking his head slightly with a quiet sigh.

Satoru... This guy, he truly couldn't figure him out.

With a sowhat resigned smile, he followed after him.

...

...

In the dojo, Satoru recounted everything Yamamoto had taught him that day.

When he heard about Yamamoto's improved zazen technique for swords, Aizen showed a contemplative expression.

After a minute or so, he nodded. "As expected of the Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13. This zazen thod not only aids in awakening one's Zanpakutō but, more importantly, helps master the control of emotions through spiritual pressure."

"Satoru, you should practice this technique diligently. Even if not for your Zanpakutō, it will greatly benefit your future battles!"

Satoru clicked his tongue. "When did you start sounding like Young Master Kuchiki? You're such a mother hen."

Aizen: "..."

He narrowed his eyes slightly, giving Satoru a look.

Then, Satoru leaned in conspiratorially. "But more than the zazen, Old Man Yamamoto taught a combat technique."

He repeated Yamamoto's instructions on utilizing sword pressure word for word to Aizen.

After listening, Aizen stroked his chin.

"Using the Zanpakutō to convert spiritual pressure into a 'slashing' attribute..."

"For Shinigami who haven't awakened their Zanpakutō or whose abilities aren't combat-oriented, this is indeed quite useful—far more effective than simply releasing raw spiritual pressure."

"Surprising that the man who wields the strongest Kidō-type Zanpakutō in Soul Society would develop such a technique."

Seeing Aizen muttering to himself, Satoru waved a hand.

"Never mind Old Man Yamamoto for now. So, Sōsuke, do you think you can master this in a week?"

Aizen opened his mouth, instinctively about to say he lacked such talent.

But then he rembered Satoru sharing everything he'd just learned without hesitation.

After a few seconds of silence, he chuckled softly.

Under Satoru's expectant gaze, Aizen spoke slowly.

"A week? That won't be necessary."

"A single day will suffice."

Seeing the confident gleam in Aizen's eyes, Satoru smiled.

Indeed, with the Aizen-bind cheat code by his side, there was nothing to fear about the training task Yamamoto had assigned.

If he had to learn sword pressure on his own, he could probably manage it in a week, but it would require imnse effort.

For at least four or five days, he'd lose all his free ti outside of training.

But now… all he had to do was recite the key points Yamamoto had taught to Aizen and wait for the synchronization to kick in.

Satoru couldn't help but feel moved.

The combined genius of him and Aizen was practically overflowing.

anwhile, Aizen, seeing the genuine smile on Satoru's face, also curled his lips slightly.

Just as he'd thought—even after hearing such an outrageous claim, Satoru showed not a hint of surprise.

No doubt, this guy had probably already mastered sword pressure.

Was he teaching it to Aizen now because he was worried Aizen wouldn't keep up with his growth?

Well, if he was so confident, he'd better not be shocked when he got surpassed.

As he watched Satoru, Aizen suddenly seed to rember sothing.

"By the way, didn't you want to learn how to conceal your power level before?"

"Since we have ti now, I'll teach you."

In the sword training hall at night, the two young students exchanged techniques that would make even seasoned Shinigami hesitate.

By the next afternoon, Satoru received the system notification confirming he'd mastered sword pressure.

After ntally simulating it briefly, he found a secluded spot, drew the Asauchi at his waist, and casually swung it.

A blue crescent-shaped spiritual pressure shot from the blade's edge, striking a nearby mound and exploding in a cloud of dust.

Assessing the power of that strike, Satoru clicked his tongue in amazent.

Truly, Aizen—perfecting the technique to this level in just one day was downright insane.

Still, even though he could directly synchronize abilities from Aizen, Satoru didn't neglect his own daily training.

In fact, to better digest this hard-earned power, he trained even more intensely than before.

Having pushed himself too hard during the day, Satoru woke up groggily in the middle of the night, his arms sore.

Slowly sitting up, he stretched and saw that it was still dark outside, so he prepared to lie back down.

But just as he was about to, he suddenly noticed sothing odd about Aizen's bed…
