Hirako Shinji casually spun his Zanpakutō, Sakanade, and sliced down a Hollow in one smooth motion.
Every Hollow that rushed toward him suddenly changed direction, flying upward into the sky the mont they approached.
That was Sakanade's effect.
It reversed the target's sense of direction.
The confused Hollows beca nothing more than toys in Shinji's hands.
After Tsuna finished deploying everyone earlier, Shinji had already sent Kensei to reinforce Uryū. From there, the Visored would spread outward from the center, filling the weaker defense zones.
They arrived just as the Gillian-class nos appeared.
"So many Hollows… how long are we supposed to keep killing?" Shinji complained.
Even slaughtering a thousand pigs would take ti.
And there were far more than a thousand Hollows here.
He tilted his head and called out:
"Hacchi, give a hand!"
"I've been helping the whole ti," Hachigen Ushōda replied.
Without his Kidō barriers, the scent released by Sakanade would never have spread across such a wide area so quickly.

It instantly trapped a large number of low-level Hollows.

"Relax," Shinji replied casually. "Nothing's going to happen."
With a Zanpakutō capable of clearing hordes even without Bankai, Shinji was still far from using his full power.
Near Urahara Shop — Eastern Karakura
Fireworks shot into the sky one after another.
The nearby residents were getting an unexpected treat—
A free fireworks festival.

Most of his combat experience ca from sparring with Kensei at the Visored base.
There, he could unleash his power freely.
Now he had to hold back.
Because of that, Chad beca more cautious, avoiding his full strength.
Even so, ordinary Hollows were no match for him.
His clearing speed slowed slightly, since he now had to defeat them one by one in close combat.
Compared to Chad's overwhelming brute-force style, Tatsuki fought far more elegantly.

Still, both of them were primarily close-range fighters.
Against overwhelming numbers of Hollows, they began to struggle.
Gradually, the swarm surrounded them.
"Tatsuki, look up!" Chad shouted.
Tatsuki retreated behind him instantly.
Chad understood imdiately.
Powerful Reiatsu surged from his right shoulder.
The Right Arm of the Giant charged with energy.
At the sa ti, Tatsuki gathered Reiatsu.
She abandoned the incantation.
"Hadō #33 — Sōkatsui!"
Her Kidō proficiency was already impressive.
At the mont, all of her long-range combat options ca from Hadō techniques.
Sōkatsui and Chad's blast fired simultaneously.
Blue flas and white Reishi beams tore through the Hollow swarm.
A massive gap opened.
The two of them dashed through the breach and resud eliminating the remaining Hollows.
Central Karakura — Uryū's Position
With the arrival of the Visored, Uryū's pressure dropped dramatically.
Their casually swinging blades alone could destroy nearby low-level Hollows.
Naturally, they ignored those weak enemies.
Their true targets were the newly arrived Gillian-class nos.
Perhaps because the Visored had appeared, the Gillians didn't even fully erge from their Garganta before gathering red spiritual energy in their masks.
Cero.
"Heh," Kensei Muguruma scoffed. "Everyone—move!"
In an instant—
Every mber of the Visored donned their Hollow Masks.
Hollow Reiatsu surged skyward.
Red light gathered around them.
Even the lieutenant-level Visored ford Cero at their masks.
The captain-level fighters ford Cero at the tips of their Zanpakutō.
"Cero!"
Crimson beams shot through the sky.
The Visored were actually more skilled at firing Cero than the Gillians themselves.
In an instant—
Their attacks precisely struck the spiritual energy the Gillians were charging.
The Gillians' own Cero detonated prematurely.
They were destroyed by their own power.
"Tch. Pathetic," Hiyori Sarugaki scoffed.
"Watch my super beam!" Mashiro Kuna crossed her arms dramatically like a superhero, completely obsessed with hero poses.
Lisa Yadōmaru said nothing.
She simply flipped through a magazine in her hand, clearly unimpressed by the nos.
After undergoing Tsuna's Resurrección-style training, the Visored were no longer what they once were.
In order to train Tsuna, every Visored had learned to fire multiple rapid Cero bursts.
For several lieutenant-level mbers, fighting with their Hollow Masks had already beco stronger than their Shikai.
As for the captain-level fighters—
Urahara had modified their Zanpakutō, filling them with purified Hollow energy.
This allowed them to maintain Hollow power for extended periods.
That Hollow energy itself had been refined from Gillians like the ones before them.
These Hollows possessed no consciousness—
They were pure energy sources.
"Hey! Don't get careless!" Kensei shouted at his unruly teammates.
"Kensei, look again," Love Aikawa said.
More Gillians were erging from the Garganta they had just cleared.
Their earlier attack hadn't stopped the invasion.
"What noisy screams," Rose (Rōjūrō Ōtoribashi) muttered, rubbing his temples.
His hearing was especially sensitive.
The Gillians' cries gave him a headache.
"Focus up," Kensei ordered.
"We'll split into pairs."
"Captain-level with lieutenant-level."
"End this quickly. We can't let the Gillians' attacks reach the human population."
Edge of Karakura Town — Xcution
A black box opened.
This was Yukio's Fullbring — Invaders Must Die.
The entire Xcution team stepped out.
"These things are disgusting," Riruka Dokugamine said with obvious disgust.
She hated anything that wasn't cute.
Hollows were the exact opposite of her aesthetic.
"Alright everyone, move out," Ginjō said.
"Riruka, stay with Yukio. If you don't want to fight, hide."
Ginjō understood her personality and didn't force her to fight.
His Cross of Scaffold swung.
A green rope shot out and wrapped around a lone Hollow's neck.
The rope tightened—
And the Hollow was instantly hanged.
"Hmph… I can fight too," Riruka muttered quietly.
But by then everyone else had already scattered.
Only Yukio heard her.
"Relax," Yukio said while sitting in a corner playing his handheld ga console.
"I just want to play gas anyway."
The black box opened again.
Another attacking Hollow was pulled inside.
Within Yukio's digital domain were the monsters he had created.
Hollow vs Hollow.
It sounded like a fun ga.
anwhile, Ginjō flashed into the sky using Shunpo.
A Hollow Mask covered his face.
Cero beams fired repeatedly from the Cross of Scaffold.
It was his most direct attack.
Unfortunately, Cero relied purely on Hollow power, making it harder to combine with his Shinigami abilities.
Unlike Kensei—who required external Hollow energy—Ginjō already possessed Hollow power naturally.
Using it ca far more easily to him.
Other Xcution mbers had also improved.
Jackie Tristan's Fullbring — Dirty Boots had evolved.
Previously, the dirtier her boots beca, the stronger her kicks grew.
Now—
She could store the strongest kick from her previous Fullbring activation.
Like boots filled with gravel.
Now Jackie could injure enemies imdiately with one kick—
And use the enemy's blood to make her boots even dirtier.
anwhile, Shūkurō Tsukishima remained terrifying.
In his pocket were Reishi Seeds, modified by Urahara from materials brought back from Soul Society.
By cutting the seeds with Book of the End, Tsukishima inserted himself into their past.
In an instant, he could grow and manipulate Reishi plants to attack enemies.
anwhile — Ichigo's Side
Ichigo and Orihi were rushing desperately toward his ho.
The path wasn't completely safe.
Stray Hollows still blocked their way.
Ichigo had already activated his Fullbring Spirit Bow.
But he dared not shoot.
He only had three arrows.
So instead, he used the bow as a lee weapon, smashing Hollows with bursts of Reiatsu.
After all, the bow wasn't a true weapon.
Aside from occasionally crushing a Hollow with explosive spiritual pressure, it dealt little real damage.
But Ichigo's real purpose wasn't to kill.
He was acting as bait.
Whenever the Hollows focused on him—
A crescent arc would flash through the air.
The Hollow would split in half.
It was Tsubaki, the offensive spirit of Orihi's Shun Shun Rikka.
Ichigo and Orihi had practiced this strategy countless tis.
They were perfectly synchronized.
However—

According to Tsuna's plan, every direction of Karakura Town had defenders.
There shouldn't be Hollows roaming the streets.
Yet Ichigo's path ho was blocked again and again.

She quickly raised a barrier.
"Santen Kesshun!"
The attack was blocked—and the Hollow destroyed.
"Forget it!" Ichigo shouted.
He fired another arrow, clearing the area.
Then he grabbed Orihi and used Bringer Light to leap forward, leaving a crater in the ground as they rushed toward his ho.
"Ichigo-kun… your power—"
"I know," Ichigo said.
"I won't use the last arrow."
