Now reading: Chapter 1 1 Could It Be I've Transmigrated? from Bleach: The Strongest Shinigami, Hitsugaya Toshiro, a Action novel by GodofChicken.

In a dilapidated small wooden house, Joseph slowly opened his eyes.

'An unfamiliar ceiling?'

'Judging from my extensive experience reading transmigration novels, could it be that I've transmigrated?'

'-How is that possible! This isn't a novel.'

Joseph looked at the worn-out ceiling before him and muttered to himself with a hint of sarcasm.

"That's right! My ten million!" Joseph suddenly sat up, agitated.

Then he carefully surveyed his surroundings.

A simple wooden hut, with a set of bedding beneath him, and a table next to it with a kettle and a few cups placed on top. Aside from that, the house was practically bare.

Joseph wondered, "This doesn't look like a hospital either?"

Joseph was a poor loser. On his birthday, he casually bought a lottery ticket and, unexpectedly, ended up winning ten million.

Although ten million is only one-hundredth of a small goal in the eyes of a billionaire, many people can't earn that much money in their entire lifeti.

So, Joseph, overwheld with excitent, fainted on the spot. When he woke up, he was here.

Just then, a short-haired girl wearing coffee-colored clothes walked in.

"Shiro-chan, how are you feeling? Maybe you should lie down and rest a bit more..." The girl said with concern.

"Who are you?" Joseph felt that the girl before him seed very familiar.

"Ah-"

Joseph suddenly felt a splitting pain in his head, and then everything went black as he passed out.

"Shiro-chan, Shiro-chan, what's wrong with you..."

After an unknown amount of ti, Joseph woke up again.

Looking at the ceiling before him and combining it with the mories in his mind, Joseph was now absolutely certain he had transmigrated.

According to the mories that had flooded his mind, the original owner of this body was nad Hitsugaya Toshiro.

He had silver hair and erald green eyes, a cold personality, and was feared by those around him.

He lived in the 1st District of West Rukongai and had a childhood friend nad Hinamori Momo.

Yes, that's right… this is the Bleach World.

Toshiro had gone out for a stroll when he saw a child fall, so he instinctively went to help the other.

But he forgot that aside from Momo and his grandmother, everyone around him was afraid and fearful of him.

And that brat, scared out of his wits, casually picked up a rock and smashed it against Toshiro's forehead, causing Toshiro to fall to the ground, unable to get up.

'Hitsugaya Toshiro, huh? Even though he's a genius kid, his life experience is truly miserable,' Joseph thought.

In terms of emotions, his childhood friend Momo tried to cut him down because of a single sentence from Aizen.

In terms of career, although he beca the youngest Captain of the Gotei 13, which counts as achieving success at a young age, his actual strength was really lacking.

Despite possessing the Strongest Ice-type Zanpakuto, every ti he fought an opponent, he was either instantly defeated or beaten to a pulp.

'I wonder if it's lucky or unlucky to have traveled through ti and beco Hitsugaya Toshiro.'

The unfortunate part is that Toshiro's life can hardly be called happy.

But the lucky part is that, although his experiences were sowhat bitter, at least he survived until the end, which is better than those who died, considering how brutal the final arc was.

'Whatever, since my past life is over, I'll strive to live this life well. From now on, there is no Joseph, only Hitsugaya Toshiro.'

Just then, Momo walked in with dicine.

"Shiro-chan, you're awake. Here, drink this dicine first. Grandma just finished brewing it."

Toshiro looked at the pretty girl before him, his expression complicated. "Yeah, I'm fine now."

Momo was truly good to him, but in the future, because of a letter from Aizen, she disregarded their years of friendship and attacked him without hesitation. Toshiro found it hard not to hold a grudge in his heart.

Momo frowned. "What do you an you're fine? You don't look too good. Drink the dicine first. Here, open your mouth, ah-"

As she spoke, Momo scooped up a spoonful of dicine, blew on it twice, and brought it to Toshiro's mouth.

Toshiro had sweat drops on his forehead. "Bed-wetter Momo, I'm not a child. I can drink it myself."

Momo flushed with anger. "Idiot, idiot, Shiro-chan is a big idiot. Why bring up sothing that happened so long ago? I'm ignoring you."

Momo put the dicine bowl down on the table with a 'thud' and ran out.

"My, my, arguing again?" A kind-looking old woman slowly walked in.

"Grandma." Toshiro called out to the person.

Toshiro's grandmother picked up the dicine bowl with a gentle smile. "A grandchild is always a child in their grandmother's eyes, so it's fine if Grandma feeds you, right?"

"Yeah." Grandmother's smile couldn't help but warm Toshiro's heart.

Grandmother smiled. "Toshiro, you should get along well with Momo. She was the one who carried you back this ti. When she heard you were missing, she searched everywhere frantically and finally managed to bring you back."

"And she just went out to gather herbs for you in the mountains. The two of you clearly care about each other but argue all the ti. What a pair of stubborn children," Grandma teased.

"Is that so." Toshiro felt sowhat moved.

He decided: From now on, he would treat Momo as his childhood friend and older sister, as long as she didn't act toward him as she did in the original work in the future.

"Alright, Shiro-chan, you rest well. Children who sleep more grow taller, you know." After saying that, Grandma took the empty dicine bowl and walked out.

For a mont, Toshiro was alone in the room.

'Why did I transmigrate?' Toshiro felt sowhat puzzled.

Toshiro suddenly rembered that before he lost consciousness, when his mind was fuzzy, he seed to feel a cold sensation coming from his chest.

'That's right, I think I've always worn a mysterious necklace around my neck.'

In his previous life, Toshiro had once bought a special necklace from a street stall. The chain of the necklace was quite ordinary, but the bead hanging from it was peculiar.

Although it looked like an ordinary glass bead, holding it felt cool, and it continuously emitted a chilly aura. Wearing it in sumr was very comfortable, completely eliminating the need for air conditioning.

'Could this be the essential cheat for transmigration?'

"From now on, I, Hitsugaya Toshiro, will dominate the Soul Society, marry a beautiful and wealthy woman, and reach the peak of life!" Toshiro said with a look of longing.

But then, thinking about his child's body, he couldn't help but make a bitter face. "Marrying a beautiful and wealthy woman and ending my virginity will have to wait a few decades or a hundred years, I guess."
