"Would you two students mind taking Utsunomiya-kun to the infirmary first, then calling soone from the 4th Division?" Aizen asked two nearby students.
"Y-yes, of course." The two students hurriedly agreed.
anwhile, Yoshiaki stared blankly, his face filled with despair.
Once the Saketsu and Hakusui were destroyed, it ant he was completely reduced to a useless cripple. His life was over, and even the Utsunomiya Family would scorn him.
"Hitsugaya-kun, you acted a bit impulsively. The situation has beco sowhat troubleso now. Please co with to see the Principal to discuss how to resolve this." Aizen turned to Toshiro and said.
"I'm sorry, Toshiro. I've caused you so much trouble." Momo said, her eyes red as she walked over.
"No, Hinamori. It was my fault for not protecting you well enough, letting you encounter such a thing." Toshiro reached out, patting Momo's head apologetically.
"Then let's go, Captain Aizen." Toshiro said to Aizen.
"Um, please wait. Let co too. I witnessed the entire incident. I can testify for Hinamori-kun." Kira spoke up from the side.
"And ." Renji, who had been knocked to the ground by Yoshiaki, also got up and said.
"That's fine. It would be good to have soone explain the incident's details to the Principal." Aizen nodded.
"Thank you both, Kira, Abarai."
Toshiro expressed his gratitude to Kira and Renji.
In the Principal's office.
The old Principal was still leisurely drinking tea.
The enrollnt work was finished, and daily affairs were handled by his subordinates. Spending work hours reading newspapers and sipping tea made for a very comfortable life.
Aside from Toshiro repeatedly damaging the walls of his residence these past few days, requiring the academy to send people for repairs, there weren't many worries.
But, for a genius, breaking a few walls wasn't a big deal. When he achieved great success in the future, it would bring imnse prestige to the academy… a win-win situation.
Bang!
"Principal, it's terrible!"
Kimura, who had handled enrollnt last ti, pushed the door open.
"Pfft!"
Startled, the Principal spat out a mouthful of tea.
"Kimura! You again! Have you thought of a reason not to have your salary deducted this ti?" The old Principal's eyes seed to blaze with anger.
"Principal, Hitsugaya Toshiro and Utsunomiya Yoshiaki got into a conflict." Mr. Kimura said urgently.
"Utsunomiya Yoshiaki? That kid from the Utsunomiya Family?" The old Principal asked.
He had heard of this student more than once. Relying on his noble family background and so skill, he bullied commoner students and stirred up trouble daily.
However, he was the academy Principal, not a court judge.
If treated as a student conflict, he could only criticize and educate.
If treated as a criminal case, it would have to be handed over to the Central 46 for trial.
And the Central 46 were composed of a bunch of noble elders. It would be fortunate if they didn't join in bullying the commoner students… expecting a fair trial from them was unrealistic.
Add to that students choosing to let things go under threat, and ultimately, such matters were often dropped.
"He provoked Hitsugaya Toshiro? That guy is going too far." The old Principal frowned.
Yoshiaki wasn't brainless, and he previously only bullied ordinary students.
He wouldn't easily provoke outstanding, strong students. Who would have thought he'd provoke Toshiro this ti.
"Hmph, this ti, even if I have to break ties with the Utsunomiya Family, I'll expel this tumor." The old Principal snorted.
He had already considered this idea. Now that Yoshiaki had provoked Toshiro, it solidified the Principal's decision.
As the Principal of Shin'o Academy, his students were spread throughout the Soul Society. Not to ntion upper-class nobles, even the Four Great Noble Houses might not be able to touch him easily.
Previously, he just didn't want to break ties, but now that Yoshiaki had crossed his bottom line, he wouldn't tolerate him anymore.
"Kimura, what are the specifics?" The old Principal asked.
"The details aren't entirely clear, but it seems Utsunomiya Yoshiaki bullied Hitsugaya Toshiro's friend. Then, when Hitsugaya arrived, they fought."
Kimura had also heard this from a student and rushed to report to the Principal.
"And the result?" The old Principal quickly asked.
He wasn't worried Toshiro would be injured. With Lieutenant-level Reiatsu, at worst, he wouldn't be defeated by a student who hadn't even awakened his Zanpakuto.
The Principal was concerned that Toshiro might act without restraint, killing Yoshiaki in public. That would be sowhat troubleso.
"Captain Aizen of the 5th Division happened to pass by and tried to intervene. However, despite Captain Aizen's efforts, Utsunomiya Yoshiaki's Saketsu and Hakusui were still pierced by Toshiro Hitsugaya."
At this point, Kimura himself felt shocked.
"Oh? He has already grown to this extent?" The old Principal exclaid in surprise.
'It seed my decision was correct. Such a genius must not be ruined.'
"But since no life was lost, that's manageable. Kimura, go call them here first. I need to understand the specifics." The old Principal said.
"No need, old man Principal. I ca myself." Toshiro and the others happened to arrive at the doorway.
"You ca just in ti. Tell the details." The Principal said.
"I'll explain, Principal. I witnessed the entire incident." Kira stepped forward.
"Mm, then you explain. But be objective and fair." The old Principal nodded.
Kira said solemnly, "Yes, sir. The matter was like this..."
"Is that really how it happened?" After Kira finished, the old Principal looked at the others.
Everyone nodded. Even Aizen said, "Principal, I, as Captain of the 5th Division, guarantee that Utsunomiya Yoshiaki was at fault. Moreover, he struck first. Many students witnessed the incident at the ti."
"In that case, rest assured, Hitsugaya-kun. You won't be in trouble. Leave everything to . You all may return and wait for news." The Principal said seriously.
