Smack!
The sake bottle fell to the ground, shattering into pieces with liquid splashing everywhere.
"That guy Gin, who does he think he is! His eyes are so strangely shaped! I wouldn't give a damn about a guy like that!"
Rangiku, her face flushed from drinking, slurred loudly.
"That's right, that's right!"
Kira, holding his cup and swaying unsteadily, chid in.
"Yare yare, everyone's drunk, huh?"
Toshiro squinted, half-drunk and half-sober.
Earlier, when Rangiku suggested drinking, neither Toshiro nor Kira refused. After all, Toshiro and Kira had had so unpleasantness because of the previous incident.
Although Toshiro had said he forgave him, interacting with each other was inevitably a bit awkward for the ti being. However, at the dinner table, it was easier to communicate feelings and restore the relationship. So Toshiro and Kira didn't refuse Rangiku's suggestion.
Then the three of them started drinking in Toshiro's Captain's office during work hours in broad daylight. Before long, they were all getting tipsy.
"This is a bit bad. I already drank quite a bit at Kyoraku's place, and just now Rangiku forced a lot more on . I really do feel a bit drunk now."
Toshiro muttered, feeling a bit dizzy.
"I'd better go outside, get so air, and sober up."
Saying this, Toshiro walked out of the Captain's office.

"Going out for so air to sober up."
Toshiro waved without looking back and walked out of the Captain's office.
As soon as Toshiro walked out, Rangiku's eyes cleared, showing none of the drunkenness from before.
"Take care, Captain."
Rangiku murmured to herself.
As an old drunkard, Rangiku wasn't so easy to get drunk. She had just been faking it.
The reason she pretended to be drunk was, first, to liven up the atmosphere, and second, to take the opportunity to vent the frustration caused by Gin's departure.
"Matsumoto-san, Matsumoto-san, l-let's drink until we drop today..."
Kira slurred.
"Yes, yes, until we drop."
Rangiku clinked glasses with Kira, and they each downed their drinks.
Thud!
Kira collapsed, drunk.
"Really, in the end, you're the only fool who actually got drunk."
Rangiku said with so amusent.
Outside the Captain's office, Toshiro staggered along the corridor.
Although, with Toshiro's strength, if he really didn't want to get drunk, he could use his Reiryoku to evaporate the alcohol from his body at any ti. But it had been a long ti since he'd experienced the feeling of being drunk, and Toshiro didn't mind having a good drunk.

"Shiro-chan!"

The familiar nickna, the familiar scent… Toshiro knew who it was without looking.
"Really, Shiro-chan, why are you drunk in broad daylight?"
Momo pouted, looking dissatisfied at Toshiro, who had collapsed drunk in her arms.
"It's nothing, nothing. Kira just ca to apologize to . We were also celebrating our reconciliation, so we had a few extra drinks."
Toshiro said dismissively.
"Kira apologized to you too? That's good. Kira was originally deceived by Captain Ichimaru… he didn't an to harm us. And since we entered the Shin'o Academy back then, the few of us have been friends for decades. There's no need to sever so many years of friendship just because of what happened."
Momo said happily.
"Speaking of which, why did you suddenly leave the hospital without telling ? I would have picked you up."
Momo complained.
But Toshiro didn't respond to her complaint.
"What's wrong, Shiro-chan? Why aren't you saying anything? Oh, you fell asleep."
Momo was wondering why Toshiro wasn't talking, only to find that he had simply fallen asleep in her arms.
"Well, although it's not evening yet, good night, Shiro-chan."
Momo looked happily at the sleeping Toshiro, then carried him towards the nearby bedroom.

1st Division, Captain's eting Room.
After returning to the division yesterday, he had gotten drunk and was taken by Momo to rest in his room. Not long after waking up today, before he could deal with the accumulated division affairs, Toshiro received a notification for a Captain's eting.

Yamamoto struck the ground with his cane.

Back then, several Captains and Lieutenants of the Gotei 13 underwent Hollowfication, and the Central 46 ruled that it was all the doing of the forr 12th Division's Captain, Urahara Kisuke. "Does anyone have any recomndations for suitable candidates to fill the vacancies in the 3rd, 5th, and 9th Divisions?"
Yamamoto asked the assembly.
