Urahara gave a nod, then once again led Shimo down into the underground chamber.
In just a few short days, the space had already been restored to its original condition.
Hisana floated gently in midair, protected by a specially constructed spirit particle containnt field.
From his pocket, Urahara pulled out a small glowing orb—the Soul Stabilization Pellet—and handed it to Shimo.
"I'll perform the surgical insertion as quickly as possible," he said seriously.
"The mont her spiritual core opens, all you need to do is throw this in."
Shimo nodded without offering any suggestions.
This wasn't his area of expertise.
He knew better than to interfere, especially in a mont this important.
If Hisana were to die because of sothing he said or did, the consequences would be far more than political—they'd be disastrous.
Once Shimo confird his readiness, Urahara stepped up to Hisana and began the procedure.
Streams of spirit particles twisted through the air like threads, gathering and spinning above her.
In a flash, a void-like hole appeared in her abdon—unnervingly similar to that of a Hollow.
"Shimo-kun!"
Urahara called out urgently.
"Ti, stop—Akatsuki!"
Shimo didn't hesitate. The instant the rift opened, he released his Shikai.
Within his controlled field, a 10-ter zone of temporal stasis blood outward, freezing ti for everything except what he chose.
Flicking his finger, Shimo launched the Soul Stabilization Pellet into the void.
Everything affected by his spiritual pressure—every particle within the frozen zone—remained under his command.
After three seconds, the ti stop dissolved.
At that mont, the Soul Stabilization Pellet activated.
Glowing spirit particles surged from the cavity in Hisana's abdon, gradually knitting together her soul structure and nding the spiritual damage.
Seeing this, Urahara finally let out a deep breath.
"Whew… that was ntally exhausting."
Now that the operation was a success, his tone lightened considerably.
Until that mont, he had been under enormous pressure.
If anything had gone wrong with Hisana in his care, he would've been forced into exile all over again.
Worse—he might've endangered the hidden Visoreds still living in the Human World.
Urahara carried the weight of many lives on his shoulders. The risks were not small.
But now, with Hisana's spirit stabilized and her vitals steady, the danger had passed.
The gentle rise and fall of her breath hinted that she might soon awaken from her coma.
"Thank you, Urahara-san," Shimo said politely.
Urahara waved it off, pulling out a small white folding fan from who-knows-where and fanning himself leisurely.
"Think nothing of it."
"It's getting late. I'll send you two ho, alright?"
"Compared to the Human World, the Kuchiki estate is far better for her recovery."
It was a clear cue—ti to go.
But Shimo wasn't the type to overstay.
There was nothing left for him in the Human World. Aside from Urahara and a handful of exiles, he had no lingering ties here.
Bidding farewell to Urahara, Shimo opened a Senkaimon and returned to Soul Society with Hisana.
Naturally, they reappeared at the Kuchiki estate—a privilege reserved for noble families.
Technically speaking, opening a private Senkaimon like this was against family protocol.
But as Shimo had once said: things like this only happen zero tis… or countless tis.
And Kuchiki Byakuya, the one who first broke the rules for Hisana's sake, had already long committed himself to being the latter.
When Shimo stepped out of the gate, he saw Byakuya already waiting anxiously.
"No need to worry," Shimo said with a reassuring smile.
"Hisana's condition has stabilized completely."
"She's still weak, but her life is no longer in danger."
At those words, Byakuya finally exhaled.
"Thank you, Shimo."
He didn't ask for details—about the treatnt, or who had perford it.
Though he had vague suspicions, he chose not to voice them.
The man before him had saved soone precious. That alone was enough for Byakuya to offer his trust—and a debt he intended to repay, no matter the cost.
He would simply wait for the right mont.

With Hisana's crisis resolved, it was ti to move on.
Back at Shin'ō Academy, Shimo submitted his request for early graduation.
The administration wasn't surprised.
In fact, they processed everything at record speed.
Once all official docunts were handed over, Shimo—once a student—was now a fully fledged Shinigami.
