After demonstrating the ergency canned food promotion and picking up my father’s dried at order, the situation inside the restaurant beca more crowded than before.
The pile of ergency food cans that piqued people’s curiosity, along with the sweet aroma of the ergency food that aroused their appetite, made the old woman and the young man want to try it too.
"Excuse , Lily-sama. May I have a taste of the ergency al that Marquess Roml will be shared?" the old woman asked politely.
"Yes, I also want to ask for your help and the Adventurer’s Guild to teach our peoples how to cook these ergency food cans properly," I replied while giving a gentle, friendly smile to the old woman in front of .
Helena, who was listening to my words, gave a smile before speaking.
"It seems your purpose in coming to the Adventurer’s Guild isn’t just to pick up the order of dried at that Marquess Roml has ordered, Lily-sama," said Helena, who had put back on her face mask while working professionally.
"Yes, that just occurred to . It would be quite troubleso if Marquess Roml distributed ergency food cans without knowing how to cook them, wouldn’t it?" I replied to Helena’s question.
"It’s true, without knowing how to cook ergency food cans, it would leave people confused after receiving food aid from Marquess Roml during the war."
"I wish this noble war season weren’t held, but this is also a unique tradition, that needs to be abolished because it will only increase financial losses after the noble war season ends. Do you know anything about this noble war season, Helena?" I asked Helena, seeking her opinion on this matter.
"Lily-sama, as soone who has participated in the noble war season. I feel the sa way as you are feeling right now. However, the noble war season is necessary because so noble families deserve to be defeated after committing an act that violates human moral boundaries, and killing them is one of the legal asures that the royal family can provide," Helena replied with her eyes fixed on Nimi, with sadness, rembering the dark past.
I tried to understand the words that Helena had spoken and realized so of the advantages of this season of war between nobles, besides maintaining the noble title of a noble family.
In this case, there are so noble family who use this legal thod of killing, to try get rid of their sworn enemies, or solving internal conflicts between nobles, who will decrease because the population of nobles family will be reduced.
This would also allow the royal family to have full control to rule again after the opposition noble faction was reduced and the Capital of the Kingdom filled with people from the faction that supported the royal family.
Although at this ti, the power of the opposition faction and the faction supporting the royal family appears to be balanced, there is one factor that has caused this balance of power to collapse, likely the ergence of a heretical sect operating behind the scenes.
Without the presence of those doing things behind the scenes, I might have been calm in facing the opposition faction.
If only my Goddess hadn’t said sothing so strange, like a reincarnator possessing the body of a noble child, I definitely wouldn’t be in this kind of trouble.
[ Ara~ Ara~ Lily-chan still thinking about this? ]
[ Even though they are not a big threat to Lily-chan, who has received blessings from three different Goddesses.]
[ Hmm... Is it possible... Lily-chan is afraid of them? ]
I don’t know whether to be afraid or feel threatened by their presence.
The only thing that worries about their existence is their mories from their world and their involvent with a cult that is trying to summon the Goddess of Destruction to this world.
That’s why I sent several packs of stealth slis to monitor their movents, in close.
Moreover, with my Goddess calling them a Chunibyou or whatever is that, it only make curious about their presence.
[ Ahaha... that would indeed be troubleso for Lily-chan. ]
[ That’s why the blessing of the Yurification System is taking so long to rge with other Goddess blessing. At least it will be finished before Lily-chan goes on an expedition into the forest and encounters the Hikikomori Elf race. ]
Um, Hikikomori Elf race?
What other strange words are there?
My Goddess often uses strange words to talk to .
Can’t my Goddess use words I can understand?
[ Ah, if it is interpreted in Lily-chan’s understandable way, a hikikomori is a loner who closes themself off from other people, just like the Elf race, who doesn’t like to interact with anyone other than the Elf race itself. ]
Is that true?
I’ve t the Elf race that manages the magic books in this Adventurer’s Guild before.
Oh, speaking of the Elf race, I have sothing to say to Helena.
"Um, Helena, is Lisa in town?" I asked Helena, who seed lost in her thoughts.
"Lisa?" As if trying to calm down after rembering so things, Helena seed to be thinking about Lisa’s presence, who was rarely seen in the Adventurer’s Guild and selling her magic books at a cheap price.
"If I’m not mistaken, she’s going sowhere to repair a sacred tree or sothing. I don’t know where she’s going, but if my guess is correct, she’s going to the Elf settlent to repair so things with her magical knowledge that knows so ancient magic spells," Helena continued, making my Goddess scream in my mind.
[ Ah! Isn’t that obvious, Lily-chan! ]
[ The Elf you are looking for is currently in the forest Elf settlent and is trying to restore the sacred tree that is sacred to the Elves race. ]
[ Fufu.. This makes curious about one thing, like... I want to see Lily-chan in her Elf girl form! ]
[ I must imdiately go to the Goddess of Nature, who is worshipped by the Elf race, and ask for the collaboration of the system blessing with her as well. ]
[ Goodbye, my Lily-chan! ]
With a scream in my mind, my Goddess imdiately disappeared without a trace.
I sighed at this and imdiately answered Helena’s words, "It’s okay, I think we will et... if what my Goddess said is true."
I replied with a small mumble and shook my head.
"Hmm?" Helena tilted her head as if trying to understand my reply.
"Helena, can I submit a Quest to the Adventurer’s Guild about distributing ergency food cans and teaching peoples how to cook them?" I asked, shifting the topic to this important matter.
"Of course, Lily-sama. Please follow to the Adventurer’s Guild reception desk," Helena said while motioning for to follow behind her.
Tap...
Tap...
My twin sister, Nimi, and I quickly followed Helena’s footsteps to a room connected to the Adventurer’s Guild building.
Helena imdiately entered the reception desk and took so writing utensils to note down the Quest that I would give to the Adventure Guild.
Sraakk...
Sraakkk...
Using a quill and thick black ink, Helena had written several Quest requests that I would give to the Adventure Guild.
"As you know, Lily-sama."
"At this ti, the Adventurer’s Guild is short of adventurers who are currently evacuating, and we are implenting a protocol that must be carried out when the Adventurer’s Guild is short of adventurer mbers," said Helena while glancing at her colleague.
Cling!!
Cling!!
When my gaze fell on one of Helena’s colleagues who was also working at the reception desk, I could see the dazzling glint of a sword attached to her belt.
I imdiately understood the words Helena had said earlier.
"I see now, so that’s why so of the staff officers are forr active adventurers?" I said, noticing the other staff officers carrying swords on their belts.
"Yes, Lily-sama. That is one of the protocols we are following as a non-noble entity," Helena replied proudly.
"Does this apply to Adventurer’s Guilds in other places?"
"Yes, Lily-sama."
With such a short answer, I could feel that the organization of the Adventurer’s Guild had a clear structure, just like a kingdom that organizes its nobles.
"Then, can I make the Quest I talked to you about earlier?"
"Ara~ Lily-sama seems to be getting impatient and worried about the people who choose to stay within Marquess Roml’s territory, huh. Technically, Lily-sama’s Quest request will be included in Marquess Roml’s request that was made previously," Helena replied while showing a paper that ca from the Quest request that my father made several months earlier.
Seeing my father’s request that had been made several months earlier, it took my twin sister and by surprise.
"I can’t believe father would make such big preparations so quickly," Alyssa grumbled, realizing that my father’s complex plan was in motion.
"Uhh... Umm... does this an we’ll be fine if we act according to plan?" Alice grumbled, still trying to understand the plan our father was carrying out.
Snap...
Without wasting any more ti, I took out so ergency canned food that almost filled one room of the Adventurer’s Guild with a snap of my fingers that opened my magic storage box.
"Please do sothing as troubleso as this, Helena," I said to Helena.
"Of course, Lily-sama. It is our duty as the Adventurers’ Guild to act according to the situation."
"Make sure you also get your share of these ergency food cans. I don’t want you to work so hard and you don’t get what you deserve."
"Fufu... Lily-sama cares about us, huh. Don’t worry, we will do our best while Marquess Roml’s family is busy taking care of those stupid nobles on the battlefield."
Nod...
I nodded at Helena’s words and imdiately noticed several Adventurer’s Guild staff mbers quickly putting the ergency food cans into special magic bags.
Ctaakk...
Ctaakk...
With several Adventurer’s Guild staff mbers busy taking care of these ergency food cans, I imdiately completed the list of Quests that the Adventurer’s Guild had to do.
So of the important Quests were written by my father himself, and I just added so important parts that my father almost forgot.
With filling in so of the missing pieces and Alyssa covering the seemingly problematic parts of my father’s plan, it kept us busy taking care of so of the Quests that the Adventurer’s Guild would be doing.
While we were busy filling out several Quest lists that had to be done by the Adventurer’s Guild, I realized that being a Matriarch would have such a big responsibility and required experience to be able to make such detailed future preparations.
Then I slowly read the Quest application again and handed it over to Helena, who was waiting patiently.
"Fufu... The quests have increased again, which will keep us busy again," said Helena with a friendly smile.
