Amidst the rapid magical attack, Aiko imdiately sprinted towards the underground cave. Her lightning-fast running speed coincided with her release of a stealth spell, making her disappear as if swallowed by a black shadow.
Our disadvantageous position forced to create a cunning plan that limited the movents and attacks of this mysterious figure.
By cutting through the underground cave path that served as entrance to the Goddess of Nature’s shrine, it was enough to buy so ti for Aiko to sneak into the large cave path that connected to sothing inside.

Right in front of us, a group of mysterious people covering their faces using black coats and hoods, at first glance, looked like humans in their normal stature.
However, when I look more closely, there are so oddities in their hoods which are wider than head of humans, as if they are hiding sothing on their heads.
I could guess that, but it would be more fun to see it firsthand through the light interrogation I was about to conduct.

Let’s conduct this light interrogation with courtesy and etiquette, like a holy woman who successfully repelled the attack of a unknown group that tried to destroy the sacred shrine of the Goddess of Nature," I continued while glancing at Alice and Alyssa, who were wearing shrine maiden clothes.
The mont I glanced at them, I suddenly felt my heartbeat beco unstable after seeing the matching outfits of my twin sisters, who were wearing shrine maiden outfits.

"I thought they were a peaceful race and rarely attacked anyone," Alyssa continued muttering, trying to understand what she was seeing.

The mysterious figure in front of us was the Elf girl we were searching for and the main objective of the military expedition we were undertaking.
With such a major discovery, it can be said that the main objective of this military expedition has co to an end, and we are moving on to our next objective, which is to form a cooperation contract between Marquess Roml and the Forest Elf group.
The alliance that occurred seed difficult to do, considering that they were a bit aggressive and attacked us suddenly.

Right after they all ca out of their stupor at the sa ti, I could see their unfriendly attitude towards strangers who were in their territory.
I once read in the Great Hero’s records that the Forest Elves are typically very aggressive towards those who enter their territory. While they don’t harass or reveal themselves directly, they will keep a close eye on those who enter their territory and will even attack directly if they discover soone outside their race has intruded on their sacred territory.
"The Great Hero of the past wasn’t lying about this, huh?" I murmured and glanced at the other Elf girls who had been restrained by Alyssa’s magic chains.
"Will you all be quiet?" I said coldly, displaying the pressure of holy magical energy that ca from my Goddess’s blessing.

As I spoke cold words and silenced their mouths using the pressure of golden-yellow holy magic energy, I tried to resolve this matter peacefully.
I also cast a basic healing spell that closed the minor wounds of the Elf girls who were hit by my twin sisters’ attacks.
After being hit by the Fireball magic attack and the intense dust explosion, they could easily succumb and die after losing blood from just minor wounds all over their bodies.

Without saying a word and casting so basic healing magic, I introduced myself as a Saintess who was on an important mission from the Goddess of Nature they worship.

I spoke a few words while maintaining the dominance of the holy magic that ca from my Goddess’s blessing. By mixing lies and honesty at the sa ti, I tried to control the situation more peacefully, without provoke a battle that had preceded it.
Several Elf girls fell silent and looked at each other.
I glanced at Alyssa and asked her to release the magic chains that were restraining them.
"Alyssa, you can release your magic chains," I said to Alyssa to make sure this situation ended well.
By being wary of each other and not trusting each other, it will only make the situation even more chaotic.
Even though the second battle happened again, I was still able to ward off their attacks using the cursed Odachi that I was holding.
