Jimmy was distraught. He wasted four hours today and didn’t get anything in return, and worse yet, he had to spend another hour or more just climbing back down to the bunker.

This was not his day, but thankfully, Terrence insisted that Jimmy should take a break, as soon as they went down twenty flights of stairs. He insisted on having a look at the landing zone, where space ships used to be parked, just in case the forr inhabitants were dumb enough to leave a ship behind.

Unfortunately, there weren’t any ships here, but a break was a break nonetheless. They didn’t have to lt through another door to step into the landing zone, and the breath of fresh air he got out here, already started making him feel better.

Jimmy couldn’t keep wasting his mana on his knees, just to make them feel less tired and sore, so he sat down, took deep breaths, and observed the scenery.

"Quite a place, isn’t it?" Terrence sighed, and he seed happy for once, "Not only is it perfectly hidden from the rest of the world, but this kind of rock formation is so rare to run across. I’m surprised those morons didn’t bring the entire mountain down when they built the bunker."

"Yeah, it’s cool," He nodded.

The landing zone was essentially a big hole near the tip of the mountain, fifty ters, or over one-hundred and sixty feet across in size. Tall rock surrounded the zone, gray in color, and overall, the zone gave such a vibe that one would assu it was a super villain’s layer. It was a rare sight, but unfortunately, Jimmy couldn’t enjoy it for long.

Two minutes after they ca out here, he heard sothing behind him, sothing that his brain couldn’t quite put together in the first few seconds. He heard a hum, and it was paired with the sound of a delayed, ticking clock.

Dinosaurs didn’t make any noises like that, and when he felt Terrence suddenly jumping off of his shoulder, he knew that sothing was wrong. He quickly turned around, and laid his eyes on sothing that he had not suspected whatsoever; A spaceship!

What confused him the most was the fact that the spaceship was small. It was just three-ters, or just under ten feet across, and it was shaped like a dissolving cube.

It was difficult to figure out that this was a spaceship, not at first sight, but there was a split-second ti fra where he saw it land, and this was how he knew that it was a ship.

"Terrence, what’s going on, man?" He called out, "Are you fucking with ?"

Terrence was sprinting towards the ship. Jimmy wanted to kill the little guy on the spot, by simply blowing his heart up, but he could hear six more heartbeats in the ship itself. He feared that if he did anything rash, the aliens in the ship would shoot him down before he could get the chance to kill all of them. Who knew what sort of weaponry they’ve attached to this dinosaur turd of a flying object? He didn’t have enough ti to tap into all of their hearts, and kill them all together.

This was a confusing matter, but Jimmy started to realize what was going on. Terrence hadn’t been scanning for minerals back in the tower, but instead, he sent out so sort of unique signal, to call out mbers of his own species, or in other words, to call for a ride out of this god forsaken planet.

Once he got close to the ship, Terrence finally turned around. Judging from the look on his face, he felt guilty about tricking Jimmy in the way that he did.

"I’m sorry, kid," Terrence said, "I can’t spend another day on this planet. You understand."

"I do understand, Terrence, that’s the thing!" He yelled out, "Why with all the lies? I would’ve helped you get back ho if you asked ! I’m not a monster."

"You are a monster, actually," Terrence countered, "You wouldn’t have ever helped if you didn’t get anything out of it. My ’wrist band’ helps read minds, Jimmy, you planned to crush to death as soon as you got what you wanted."

Jimmy was stunned. He felt betrayed, and other than that, he was hoping that Terrence wouldn’t attack him. Jimmy’s shaful goals were laid out in the open, just like that, and he had virtually no way to defend himself, be it physically, or through an argunt.

Terrence saw the silence as an opportunity to make his final goodbye, and so he said, "Relax, I won’t kill you. In fact, before I go, I’ll teach you sothing, just as I promised. Don’t bother ssing with anything else in the bunker, and keep using the Cloner, or the containers, as you call them. It’s the most useful tool in that out-dated tin can. The bunker has about 3200 years of energy left, so you won’t run out of power anyti soon. I must go now, Jimmy, thanks for the help."

Jimmy grinded his teeth. He was angry, he was a bit ashad, but other than that, he was also given the ti to tap into all seven of their heartbeats. He could kill all of them in the blink of an eye, and then simply walk away, but the tiny bit of morality he had left, prevented him from doing so.

Terrence was a jackass, sure, but he hadn’t really hurt Jimmy, or his girlfriends, so other than being tricked by a far more intelligent alien, he had no other reason to kill seven aliens. Other than feeling that his response would be exaggerated, he also feared that he would start a war that he could not win.

Jimmy could kill these seven Fortunos, yes, but what if Terrence’s species knew where to find the particular ship that landed here? Tens, maybe even hundreds of more ships could rain from the sky, and destroy the entirety of the grasslands while looking to avenge seven deaths! He could not risk losing his entire tribe over the fact that he got his ego hurt.

For that matter, he breathed out, and said, "Do visit , Terrence. I may need your help soday. That aside, I hope we can have a conversation as equals the next ti we et. You owe a visit."

"Wrong, on all accounts," Terrence smiled, "You’re smarter than you think, Jimmy, so don’t ruin my image of you. Also, erase my DNA from the cloner, or else you’ll have another Fortunos looking to go ho. Even if you clone a thousand of , they won’t help you, so don’t waste your ti and do so good. Make clones that are worth your while."

Jimmy didn’t know how to respond to that, but it did not matter. The conversation was over.

"Goodbye, Jimmy. It was a pleasure knowing you." Terrence said, and then he disappeared.

Terrence was on the ship now. He had essentially teleported, which was a bleak, yet good portrayal of what technological power the ship bore. They were an advanced species no doubt.

Within the blink of an eye, the ship shot towards the sky, and was gone for good. This was the end of the weirdest day of Jimmy’s life, and he was left feeling all sorts of sour emotions. He was pissed, at himself mostly.

"Goodbye, jackass," He sighed.
